Abstract: The present application relates to a quantum dot, a preparation method thereof, and a quantum dot film. The quantum dot of the present invention includes a quantum dot core and a metal shell, and a hollow ring is formed between an inner wall of the metal shell and an outer wall of the quantum dot core. The present invention prevents the use of a transition shell such as SiO2 in the prior art to ensure a spacing between the quantum dot core and the metal shell; prevents the ligand modification of quantum dots, thereby preventing reduction of fluorescence efficiency of the quantum dot, thus maintaining an original light conversion efficiency of the quantum dot.

  • Publication number: 20240043752
Abstract: A Fischer-Tropsch (FT) process with a hybrid membrane/PSA configuration provides high component recoveries from FT off gas with minimum power consumption. Synthesis gas from a synthesis gas production zone is reacted in an FT reaction zone forming a liquid stream and an off gas stream. The off gas from the FT reaction zone, which contains hydrogen, carbon monoxide, and methane reactants, is recycled to the synthesis gas production zone. A purge stream from the recycle loop is sent to a membrane separation unit where it is separated into a permeate stream and a residue stream. The residue stream is separated in a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit into a fuel gas stream and a second stream. The second stream can be compressed and recycled to the synthesis gas production zone.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for generating aerial mycelium, such as mycological material comprising solely mycelia from depleted substrate or depleted and rejuvenated substrate. Alternatively, methods are disclosed for generating mycelia and mushrooms from depleted substrate or depleted and rejuvenated substrate. Alternative methods are disclosed for generating differentiated mycelium materials using depleted substrate or depleted and rejuvenated substrate. The mycelia products that are generated can be used in the food industry (e.g., as a meat analog) and in other industries, such as textiles, packaging, and others. The present invention provides systems and methods for generating mycelia that are repeatable and energy efficient, while providing consistently high quality and quantity mycelium-based products.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a medium composition for culturing Faecalibacterium prausnitzii composed of vegetable peptone, yeast extract, a phosphate compound, a carbonate compound, cyanocobalamin (B12), L-cysteine, ammonium acetate, and maltose, and a method of mass-culturing Faecalibacterium prausnitzii using the medium composition. When the medium composition and the method for culturing Faecalibacterium prausnitzii according to the present invention are used, high-density culture and mass production of strains of Faecalibacterium prausnitzii phylogroup II are possible. In addition, when Faecalibacterium prausnitzii is mass-cultured in the medium composition free of animal components, it may be cultured at high density even in high-concentration anaerobic nitrogen gas, and thus it is possible to provide a culture method which is more economical and suitable for industrialization.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for generating a Streptococcus thermophilus strain exhibiting a “high galactose utilization” profile, which is characterized by a high percentage of consumed galactose at the maximum speed of lactose consumption and optionally a high percentage of consumed galactose at the end of lactose consumption (both as determined by assay I), comprising modifying the sequence of the gal-lac gene cluster. The invention also relates to a Streptococcus thermophilus strain obtained or obtainable by this method, to a Streptococcus thermophilus strain characterized both by the sequence of its gal-lac gene cluster and its “high galactose utilization” profile, to a culture and kit-of part comprising such strains, as well as to the use of such strains in food applications.
