Publication number: 20240076543Abstract: The present disclosure provides a weakly-confined semiconductor nanocrystal, a preparation method therefor and use thereof. A size of the nanocrystals is larger than an exciton diameter thereof; excitons in the nanocrystal are dynamic excitons, electron-hole Coulomb interaction of the dynamic excitons is insufficient to bind electrons and holes into stable bound excitons at operating temperatures, and the electrons and the holes of the dynamic excitons are constrained by boundaries of the nanocrystal. Since the excitons in the weakly-confined nanocrystals herein possess the characteristics of dynamic excitons, the nanocrystals herein possess unique optical and photoelectric properties distinct from conventional semiconductor nanomaterials. It holds unique value for applications requiring broad-spectrum emission (such as lighting) and significant importance for photovoltaic solar devices, photoelectric detectors, and photocatalysis.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Xiaogang PENG, Liulin LYU, Jiongzhao LI, Shaojie LIU

Publication number: 20240076573Abstract: Miscible antifoams are provided that do not separate out of a target liquid and that are easy to incorporate in the target liquid. A method or system involves mixing a liquid (‘a miscible antifoam’) into a target foaming liquid. As no synthetic fibers are present, the nonwoven substrate and wipe as a whole may meet any applicable biodegradability/compostability standard (e.g., ASTM D6400 or EN13432). The wipe may be substantially void of compostable synthetic polyester or other synthetic fibers, such as PHA, PLA, PVA, PVOH, PP, or PET. A cleaning composition is loaded onto the wipe. A container can be provided within which the plurality of nonwoven substrates pre-dosed with the cleaning composition are packaged.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 16, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Nikhil Dani, Kathryn Kicklighter, John Gelinas, Tara Cullerton

Publication number: 20240076582Abstract: Sanitizing and disinfecting compositions with relatively low levels of free available chlorine, with good effectiveness against microbes, included in a burstable pouch of a system also including a plurality of initially undosed (e.g., dry) wipes in a resealable package thereof. The composition may include less than 0.5% by weight hypochlorite or other free available chlorine level, with a pH less than 12. The composition is long term stable in the pouch, but upon bursting of the pouch and dosing of the wipes, exhibits only short-term stability. Because of the low level of hypochlorite, the dosed wipes exhibit improved surface compatibility and negligible “bleach” odor, while providing at least a 3-log reduction in C. diff population within 10 minutes.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 8, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventor: Timothy P. Publication number: 20240076585Abstract: Disclosed are an environmentally-friendly glass composition for laundry detergents and washing supplements, and a method for manufacturing a glass powder thereof, wherein the glass composition is a borate glass containing large amounts of K2O and Na2O and a small amount of SiO2, and the elution properties of ions are maximized, thus enabling the production of a high concentration of elution water. As a result, the present invention uses to advantage the low chemical durability of borate glass, which is a major disadvantage of borate glass, and thereby maximizes the elution properties of the glass to form a large amount of OH? ions and B(OH)4? ions within a short period of time, and thus can exhibit excellent washing power during the washing of laundry.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 9, 2021Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Jaeyeop CHUNG, Namjin KIM, Young Seok KIM, Daesung KIM

Publication number: 20240076586Abstract: The present disclosure provides a formula of a remover reagent for a cured silicone sealant and a method using the same. The remover reagent is prepared from an acid catalyst and a solvent each having a high boiling point and a high flash point. The acid catalyst is benzenesulfonic acid or alkylbenzenesulfonic acid. The solvent is mineral oil and/or silicone oil. The cured silicone sealant is first soaked with the remover reagent for 30 to 120 min, and then baked at a high temperature of 80 to 120° C. for 10 min or above into debris or powder, whereby the cured silicone sealant with a thickness of 10 mm or above can be removed. Moreover, the remover reagent has the advantages of readily available raw materials, high safety, environmentally friendliness, convenient preparation and good sealant removal effect, and thus, has good application prospects.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Cheng FU, Shengyu GE, Huijun GUO, Liang ZHAO

Publication number: 20240076588Abstract: A package has a container formed with a dispensing opening and a supply of nonwoven disinfecting wipes in the container. The wipes are made of fibers containing lignin and impregnated with a disinfectant solution having at least two liquid components. A lignin content of the nonwoven wipes is between 0.02 g/m2 and 1 g/m2 and/or the disinfectant solution contains a dye. Thus if at least a part of one of the wipes is overexposed to air, it will change color as oxidized lignin and/or dye collects in it.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 28, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Jan Michael TRINKAUS, Christian Berndt
