Abstract: A method is provided for managing event access policies using a user interface. The method includes defining event access policies to be applied to incoming transactions, where each policy identifies a field identifier. The method further includes applying the event access policies to incoming transactions, resulting in the generation of event access records for each policy determined to apply to the incoming transactions. The event access records include field values captured from the transaction and a corresponding group identifier generated for the transaction. Additionally, event blocks are written to an event graph for the incoming transactions, independent of applying the event access policies. Each event block includes a group identifier, content, and a hash for the transaction. The method enables efficient and flexible management of event access policies that facilitate later transaction querying.

Abstract: A centralized database management system performs data synchronization with lower bandwidth consumption and higher efficiency. The system manages data synchronization and data reconciliation across multiple databases managed by multiple DBMS across different client servers. The system generates and sends instructions that encode each data table into an invertible bloom filter and identifies differences between the two databases by performing a subtraction operation on the two invertible bloom filters. The system may generate a third invertible bloom filter comprising information associated with differences between the two data tables. The system may send instructions to the source and the destination databases, where a first and a second invertible bloom filters are encoded for the source and the destination databases, respectively. The system may decode the third invertible bloom filter, identify the different elements, and generate instructions to the source and/or the destination database.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems, methods, apparatus, and computer-readable storage media that support dynamic cross-contextual taxonomy search and interpretation. A multi-layer hierarchical taxonomy may be indicated by metadata that is retrieved based on input search term(s). The multi-layer hierarchical taxonomy may includes a first plurality of nodes that are arranged as parent-child node pairs, and that are grouped into node groups based on common parent nodes. The multi-layer hierarchical taxonomy may be dynamically modified to include a second plurality of nodes that includes duplicates of the parent-child node pairs in which the parent-child relationships are reversed. The nodes may then be regrouped based on common parent nodes, and one or more node groups may be deleted if all the parent-child node pairs are duplicated in another node group. Abstract: Sensorized commercial buildings are a rich target for building a new class of applications that improve operational and energy efficiency of building operations that take into account human activities. Such applications, however, rarely experience widespread adoption due to the lack of a common descriptive schema that would enable porting these applications and systems to different buildings. Our demo presents Brick [4], a uniform schema for representing metadata in buildings. Our schema defines a concrete ontology for sensors, subsystems and relationships among them, which enables portable applications. Using a web application, we will demonstrate real buildings that have been mapped to the Brick schema, and show application queries that extracts relevant metadata from these buildings. Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure support systems and methods providing functionality for detecting the presence of cited with relationships in documents. In an aspect, a plurality of documents comprising legal citations is received and analyzed by one or more processors to detect cited with relationships within the documents. The plurality of documents may be analyzed to identify subsets of documents based on the legal citations and the cited with relationships. The cited with relationships may be identified and/or classified according to sets of proximity and/or contextual rules. In an aspect, metadata related to the cited with relationships may be generated and stored in a metadata database. In an aspect, metadata regarding cited with relationship may facilitate searching for documents having and/or identifying cited with relationships.

Abstract: System and method for creating clips of larger audio streams based on very accurate in point and out point and for searching for the clips. The system and method use byte signatures in MP3 or media files to accurately and efficiently find a specific cue point, such as for example, the beginning of a sentence in a podcast. The system and method are configured to search and locate a given clip even if that sequence moves inside the stream, such as for example, if the audio file adds additional content like advertisements or other audio sequence, the hash representation of the cue point can still be found with millisecond accuracy.

Abstract: Automated content generation and delivery may include processing a request for story synthesis using specified content items. The request may, for example, be captured using a microphone of an electronic device and transmitted to a server device. The specified content items may be mapped to a story template. Based on the story template, other content items related to the specified content items may be retrieved from one or more content sources. The content sources may, for example, refer to websites, social media platforms, search engine results, or other data stores. A story may then be synthesized using the specified content items and the other content items, for example, by combining the specified content items and the other content items according to the story template. The synthesized story may then be output, for example, at the electronic device.

Abstract: A content analysis system provides content understanding for a content item using an attention aware multi-modal model. Given a content item, feature extractors extract features from content components of the content item in which the content components comprise multiple modalities. A cross-modal attention encoder of the attention aware multi-modal model generates an embedding of the content item using features extracted from the content components. A decoder of the attention aware multi-modal model generates an action-reason statement using the embedding of the content item from the cross-modal attention encoder.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes indexing a whole slide image dataset to generate one or more dataset embeddings corresponding to one or more respective regions of one or more whole slide images. Each dataset embedding includes a feature vector mapping the respective region to a feature embedding space. The method includes accessing a query image and generating an embedding for the query image that includes a feature vector mapping the query image to the feature embedding space. The method includes identifying result tiles by comparing the embedding for the query image to one or more of the dataset embeddings. The comparison is based on one or more distances between the embedding for the query image and the one or more of the dataset embeddings in the feature embedding space. The method includes generating a user interface including a display of the result tiles.
