    Abstract: A system is provided that considers allele fraction shifts as a function of copy number and clonal heterogeneity. The system leverages differences between allele frequencies to differentiate between somatic and normal variants in impure tumor samples. In solid tumors, stromal cells and infiltrating lymphocytes are typically interspersed among the tumor cells. The normal cell contamination in tumors can be leveraged to differentiate somatic from germline variants. We explicitly model allelic copy number and clonal sample fractions so that we can examine how these factors impact the power to detect somatic variants. The system models the copy number alterations, which can also affect the allele frequencies of both somatic and germline variants. The expected allele frequencies can be calculated. The expected allele frequencies for somatic and germline differ with tumor content for different copy number alterations.

    Abstract: Pathogens invade and infect humans. Understanding the infection mechanism is essential for determining targets for new therapeutics. Existing methods provide too many false positive results. A method and system for predicting protein-protein interaction between a host and a pathogen has been provided. The disclosure provides a pipeline for predicting HPIs, which is a combination of biological knowledge-based filters, domain-based filter and sequence-based predictions. Biologically feasible interactions are only possible when both the proteins share common localization and overlapping expression profiles. This observation was used as the first filter to remove biologically irrelevant HPIs. Proteins interact with each other through domains. Both interacting and non-interacting protein pairs provide valuable information about the probability of protein-protein interactions and hence both were used to derive statistical inferences to remove improbable HPIs.

    Abstract: The present application relates to the field of mechanical engineering technologies, and particularly to an unloading device. The unloading device includes a power mechanism, a transmission mechanism, and an execution mechanism that are connected in sequence from top to bottom; wherein the execution mechanism includes a shafting assembly and a turntable assembly that are connected in sequence from top to bottom; wherein the turntable assembly includes an upper auxiliary fence, a middle main disturbance disk, and a lower reclaiming portion that are arranged in sequence from top to bottom. The unloading device provided by the present application is easy to control, and ensures the reclaiming reliability of the spherical materials and the stability of the sphere flow unloading, which can meet the requirements of long life and reliable operation of the unloading device under light load and low speed working conditions and achieve the convenient maintenance.

The method includes the following steps: the pretreatment agent is used to alkalize and disperse the neutralization slag; soluble calcium salt is added to cement the neutralization slag; and the adsorbent and the stabilizer are used as a composite material to passivate the neutralization slag. The method has low cost, fast effectiveness, simple process, easy operation, and long-term stable remediation efficiency, which can be applied to the treatment and disposal of associated radioactive waste residues.
