Patent number: 11991982Abstract: Tools in an automatic milking arrangement are picked up by using a robotic arm (110). The robotic arm (110) moves a camera (130) to an origin location (PC) from which the camera (130) registers three-dimensional image data (Dimg3D) of at least one tool (141, 142, 143, 144). The three-dimensional image data is processed using an image-based object identification algorithm to identify objects in the form of the tools and hoses (152). In response to identifying at least one tool, a respective tool position (PT1, PT3, PT4) is determined for each identified tool based on the origin location (PC) and the three-dimensional image data. Then, a grip device (115) is exclusively controlled to the one or more of the respective tool positions (PT1, PT3, PT4) to perform a pick-up operation. Thus, futile attempts to pick-up non-existing or blocked tools can be avoided.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2019Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: DeLaval Holding ABInventor: Andreas Eriksson

Patent number: 11992000Abstract: The improvement to the prior art mousetrap is the creation of a wedge cut from at or near the spring to the end of the mousetrap. The wedge length is from around the mid-point of the coiled spring to the end of the platform (the tapering occurs on the side of the bait portion of the trap). This tapering of the platform creates an unstable, tilting platform and as soon as the mouse steps onto it that increases the sensitivity of triggering the release of the striker, catching the mouse. The mouse could stand anywhere on the tapered platform, springing the trap and capturing the mouse on the platform, whether or not the mouse is close to the bait.Type: GrantFiled: August 7, 2023Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Inventor: Demetrios Constantinos Vervilos

Patent number: 11992018Abstract: A food material processing mechanism, a food material processing method and a food manufacturing method which enable highly accurate bending of a sheet-shaped flexible food material such as a skin are provided. A food material processing mechanism includes a conveyance unit and a processing unit. A conveyance unit conveys a sheet-shaped flexible food material in a conveyance direction. A processing unit forms a bending reference portion being a reference portion for bending, in the flexible food material being conveyed by the conveyance unit. The processing unit includes a reference formation unit and a pressing unit. The reference formation unit locally applies a force to the flexible food material to form the bending reference portion. The pressing unit presses the flexible food material against the conveyance unit at least temporarily while the reference formation unit forms the bending reference portion in the flexible food material.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2019Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: NICHIREI FOODS INC.Inventors: Ryuichi Itou, Suguru Hirayama, Toru Iwasa, Minoru Mamiya
