The body comprises a sole that forms a bottom portion of the golf club head, a crown that forms a top portion of the golf club head and a skirt that forms a periphery of the golf club head between the sole and the crown. The face place is positioned at a front portion of the golf club head opposite a rear portion of the golf club head. The body defines an outer periphery having a generally triangular shape in plan.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads with enclosed weight members are described herein. In many embodiments, the club head comprises a body having a front end, a back end, a heel end, a toe end, a top rail, and a sole; the body further including a front body defining the front end; a rear body coupled to the front body, wherein the front body includes a first mating surface, and the rear body includes a second mating surface that mates with the first mating surface to join the rear body to the front body; a plurality of weight receptacles defined in one or both of the first mating surface and the second mating surface and one or more weight members received into the weight receptacles, the one or more weight members being formed of a third material having a third density; and wherein the one or more weight members are fully enclosed between the front body and the rear body.

Abstract: Described herein is a tour iron having a golf club head with a faceplate, a body, and an insert. A sole, top rail, rear, and the faceplate enclose a cavity within the body. The cavity can house the insert. The insert can comprise a low-density material, allowing weight to be concentrated around the peripheral edge of the golf club head. The rear of the golf club head has an inflection seam running from the heel to the toe. The golf club head has an upper portion, above the inflection seam and a lower portion below the inflection seam. The lower portion can have a depth greater that the upper portion depth. The faceplate, body, and insert can be formed of different materials having different densities. The golf club head has a comparatively high moment of inertia and a low center of gravity. Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a face portion for striking a golf ball and an enclosed interior cavity. A filler material may be inside the interior cavity and may reinforce the face portion. The filler material may include a low density polymer material to enable discretionary mass placement to other areas of the golf club head to improve certain mass properties of the golf club head. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

Abstract: A golf tee 10 comprising an upper section 11 configured to receive a ball and a lower section 12 configured to engage the ground. The upper and lower sections 11, 12 are movably and/or releasably engagable with respect to each other such that, in use, the upper section 11 moves and/or becomes detached from the lower section 12 should a golf club contact the upper portion 11 and/or should a ball positioned on the upper section 11 be struck by a golf club.

Abstract: A multi-directional expandable modular agility exercise ladder has spaced rows of two part paired rungs having overlapping ends joined to each by a pivot post forming a variable angle chevron prow. Outer ends of the paired rungs are interlocked to two parallel spaced bands to complete the ladder. A hook and loop pad interlock is used. Alternately, spaced key holes extend through the bands with the outer ends of the rungs having downwardly extending retainer poles secured in a respective key hole. Alternately, releasable spring clamps hand movable along the band length secure rung ends to the bands.

Abstract: A virtual reality (VR) system comprising a head-mounted display (HMD) and handheld controller set is enhanced to provide a more realistic end user VR experience, e.g., for generalized surface interactions in the VR environment. The techniques herein leverage controller-less calibration with any type of surface, followed by surface interactions in the VR environment. An example use case is an interactive fitness training session.

Abstract: A smart ball-machine uses artificial intelligence to train a player or to play with a player. For example, the ball-machine can adjust the tennis ball speed, topspin, bounce according to the player's successful ball return rate. The ball-machine can be preconfigured with a profile of a player. For example, the ball-machine may download a complete profile of a tennis player from a game recording, or may download a file with a customized profile of a player to train a player using the ball-machine. The ball-machine is equipped with a plurality of wheels, motors, and shafts to provide a fully customizable launch of one or more balls. For example, the ball can be launched from the machine from one side of a tennis court to another side of a tennis court with a variety of speeds, trajectories, topspin, bounce etc.

The personalization learns from historical interactions of players with the video game and, optionally, other video games. In an example, a deep learning neural network is implemented to generate knowledge from the historical interactions. The personalization is set according to the knowledge.

The spinner may also include tactile features, such as a series of protrusions and recesses, that the user can touch or rub to create a tactile sensation, which may also help the user to relieve and/or regulate stress. The spinner also allows the user to manipulate the spinner with fingers in small repetitive movements that may reduce restlessness. The devices may be sized and shaped such that the user may uninterruptedly perform everyday tasks and discretely wear and use the devices in certain social environments such as the classroom.

The housing includes apertures formed within the closed end to allow for soapsuds and soapy water passage through the opening and the outlet of the holding member, which causes the agitator to mix the soapy water residing within the interior area to generate soapsuds.

A process uses multiple effect evaporators, ranging from one evaporator to eight evaporators in each effect. The process arrangement shows an example of four effect evaporators, with a zero-effect evaporator having a single evaporator, a first-effect evaporator having a set of three evaporators, a second-effect evaporator having a set of three evaporators, and a third-effect evaporator having a set of evaporators to create condensed distillers solubles.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods of separating solute from solvent using a photoactive extractant. The photoactive extractant can be switched between two states by exposure to light. This can change the affinity of the photoactive extractant for either the solute or the solvent, causing absorption of the solute or solvent. The photoactive extractant can then be separated from the fluid stream containing the solute or solvent. The absorbed solute or solvent is then separated from the photoactive extractant. The photoactive extractant is a photoisomer. Applications for these methods include desalination, water purification, and metal extraction.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a new and improved separation process that isolates individual minerals from brines containing a mixture of minerals. The brines may be derived from seawater, brackish water, oilfield brines, solution mining, mine run-off, and other sources. Typically, the minerals are recovered as chlorides using a variety of processing steps including evaporation, centrifugation, elutriation, filtration, electrocogulation, crystallization, adsorption, and chromatography.

Abstract: A filter device provides for designs that permit variable levels of solid particle and water molecule removal. The filter device retains the particles and the water molecules in the filter medium when removed, thus avoiding the re-entry of the particles and water molecules when the power system has cooled down as is now likely in conventional filters currently in use. Further, the filter device traps the water molecules already present in the fluid being filtered (i.e., “native water”), as well as any moisture resulting from condensation that may be introduced into the lubrication system whenever it is opened.

Abstract: The present invention is a filter assembly that aids in removal of undesirable gases and/or vapors from air, particularly air moving through HVAC systems. The filter assembly includes a frame having first and second sides that each include a mesh layer through which air may flow, the frame containing a particulate filter media (e.g., activated charcoal particles) contained loosely between the mesh layers. Suspension of the particulate filter media in the air moving through filter assembly enhances contact of the air with the surface of the particulate filter media and removal of undesirable vapors and/or gases from the air. The filter assembly is configured to work in conjunction with conventional dust filters without requiring modification of HVAC systems. The filter assembly may be refilled with particulate filter media.

Abstract: Filter media comprising a pre-filter layer and related components, systems, and methods associated therewith are provided. In some embodiments, the pre-filter layer may be designed to impart desirable properties to the filter media, such as a high gamma and/or long service life, while having relatively minimal or no adverse effects on another property of the filter media that is important for a given application. For instance, a pre-filter layer may be used to improve the upstream removal of fine particulate matter, which may clog a downstream efficiency layer comprising submicron fibers and reduce filtration performance. The pre-filter layer may be configured to increase service life and/or increase the gamma of the filter media. Filter media, as described herein, may be particularly well-suited for applications that involve filtering air, though the media may also be used in other applications.

Abstract: A gas processing system for recovering methane gas from a landfill includes a high pressure main absorber plus a relatively low pressure one. The low pressure absorber receives a gas stream from an equally low pressure flash tank. This low pressure gas stream consists mostly of carbon dioxide and methane. The methane would normally be lost due to the high cost of recompressing the carbon dioxide, but by running this mixture of carbon dioxide and methane through the low pressure absorber with a slip stream of cold absorbent, a large portion of the carbon dioxide can be removed with negligible methane losses. The remaining methane can be recycled through the high pressure main absorber without having to recompress the removed portion of carbon dioxide.
