Abstract: An article of footwear comprises a sole, and an upper that has a medial side portion extending from the medial side of the sole with a first distal end remote from the medial side. The upper has a lateral side portion extending from the lateral side of the sole with a second distal end remote from the lateral side. The upper may include a support member extending at least partially across the foot-receiving surface with a first end remote from the medial side. The medial and lateral side portions wrap at least partially around a foot with the first distal end securable proximal to the lateral side, and the second distal end separately securable proximal to the medial side. An article of footwear has cables with proximal ends fixed to one side of the upper and that extend through looped cables on an opposite side of the upper.

Abstract: Golf shoes having improved constructions are provided. The golf shoes include upper, midsole, and outsole sections. The upper may be made of a soft, breathable leather material. The midsole includes an upper region formed from a first material such as a foamed ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA); and a lower region formed from a second material such as a foamed ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), wherein the materials have different hardness levels. A fiber-reinforced composite plate such as, for example, a carbon fiber plate is disposed in the midsole. The outsole contains different traction members arranged in a precise geometric structure that helps provide improved stability and traction.

Abstract: A shoe friction control apparatus set that enables a user to specifically individually select a specific slide capability for one or more of their shoes from a plurality of different specific slide capacities. In various embodiments, the present disclosure enables a bowler to make a specific individual selection for the shoe on the bowler's slide foot. In various embodiments, the present disclosure enables a bowler to make this specific individual selection for the shoe on the bowler's other, non-slide, plant or kicker foot.

Abstract: A magnetic buckle device has a first base, a major inserting head, a second major base, two major components, and a controlling assembly. The major inserting head can be inserted into the first base to engage and lock. The second major base and the first base can be moved or rotated with respect to each other such that the major inserting head enters a disengaging state. The two major components are respectively mounted on the second major base and the major inserting head. When the major inserting head is close to a major insertion hole of the first base, a magnetic force is generated between the two major components to guide the major inserting head to close the major insertion hole and assist the major inserting head in inserting. After the major inserting head is inserted, the magnetic force also assists the major inserting head in staying in the engaging state.

Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to performing an interactive activity using a band. In one embodiment, a method includes touching a subset of inputs, associated with a touch sensor of a first band, relating to an interactive activity with a second band. The method may also include communicating, by the first band, first data to a first mobile device, the first data including information that identifies completion of the interactive activity and indicates a time that the subset are selectively touched. The method may also include the first band triggering the first mobile device to communicate second data to a second mobile device to replicate the interactive activity.

Abstract: A jewelry apparatus comprising a base member and a coupling member operably configured for attachment to the base member. The base member having a first prong and a second prong each having a first portion having a first width and a second portion having a second width smaller than the first width. The coupling member comprising a disk member having a first and second side, the first side having a first set of indicia and the second side having a second set of indicia; a first projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the first prong; and a second projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the second prong. Abstract: A strap attachment device includes a strap connector configured to attach to a strap and a connecting plate secured on the surface of an article such as a bag or suitcase. The strap connector includes a connector post configured to removably engage and be secured by a locking member located beneath the connecting plate. The locking member is biased into a closed position by a mechanical biasing means, such as a spring. The connector post may include a flanged end configured to partially disengage the locking member causing the flanged end to mate with and be secured by the locking member responsive to being inserted into the connecting plate. A pull tab is further disposed on a pull track within the connecting plate. A user can disengage the connector post from the locking member by moving the pull tab along the pull track.

Abstract: A travel accessory in the form of a travel bag, has at least two fabric pockets, two connecting strips, and a shoulder strap. The fabric pockets are connected to each other via the connecting strips. The travel bag is designed to be secured to a suitcase, specifically a carry-on sized suitcase. When a suitcase is standing on its wheels, the travel bag is laid over the suitcase, such that one pocket is on either side of the suitcase, and the connecting strips are over the top. The connecting strips are sized to reach from one side of the suitcase to the other. When the travel bag is not being secured to a suitcase, it can be carried like a purse by using the shoulder strap.

Both sides of one of the pairs of opposed sides having diagonal folds. The box has a collapsed configuration where both pairs of opposed sides are folded down to be parallel to the base, the base is folded along the spine and vertical folds, and a fastener secures the box in the collapsed configuration, and a deployed configuration where the fastener is released and the sprung hinges deploy the sides and base.

Abstract: Systems and methods for unraveling braids of real/natural hair and/or synthetic braid extensions, or a combination thereof, work from the bottom of the braid up using one or more tines automated to repetitively penetrate the braid and pull through and down it to unravel it. The systems and methods may unravel braid/entanglements faster than could otherwise be done manually by hand.

Abstract: An implement holder is disclosed. One embodiment provides an implement retention device including a main body having an attachment surface to secure the implement retention device to a mounting surface, a device retention surface having a retention slot that is wider than a device to be stored therein, the retention slot having a first side having an overhanging portion on at least a proximal end of the slot and a second side having an overhanging portion on at least a distal end of the retention slot, and a first magnet adjacent to the first side overhanging portion and a second magnet adjacent to the second overhanging portion, wherein when an implement is situated within the retention slot, the magnets rotate the implement and secures it behind the first overhanging portion and second overhanging portion. In some aspects, specialized knife sheaths and knife sheath adapters are provided, allowing a user to change the angle and orientation of a knife when stored on or about a user's body. In some embodiments, such knife sheath adapters include both belt-mounting and sheath-mounting hardware, configured to mount onto a belt and a sheath simultaneously. In some embodiments, such a knife sheath adapter is configured to allow a user to carry a knife and sheath in a wide variety of configurations and orientations, according to a user's preference.

Abstract: An electric toothbrushing device is disclosed, the device comprising vibration means for producing vibration of a toothbrush head and a controller for controlling the vibration means. The device also comprises a motion sensor for sensing motion of the toothbrushing device to produce motion data, and a signal analysis unit for analysing the motion data to produce a feedback signal. The controller is arranged to adjust the vibration produced by the vibration means in dependence on the feedback signal. Such a configuration can be used to improve the feedback provided to the user and/or help to correct deficiencies in the user's brushing technique.

The subsystems may operate simultaneously to produce the inflatable product in an automated, efficient, and repeatable manner.

The shoe horn consists of a blade in the form of a trapezoid rod with a longitudinal groove along its entire length. The guard is mounted on the blade using the press fitting method. A grip is shaped as a steel tube and press fitted on the narrowed part of the blade and touching the guard. A wedge with a pommel is press fitted into the tube of the grip. The design of the invention ensures perfect balance of the shoe horn.
