A captured image may be received that is associated with the transaction type. The captured image may be evaluated to extract a set of data elements. The confirmation image may be generated using an image template and the set of data elements. The confirmation image may be transmitted to a display device for viewing by a user and the data elements may be transmitted to a transaction processing engine for completion of a transaction.

Abstract: A deterministic concurrency control protocol for a blockchain is described. A set of transactions of the blockchain are received at a node. A simulation step and a commit step are performed to process the transactions. A dependency graph is generated comprising the set of transactions and a set of dependencies between the set of transactions, the set of dependencies including one or more read-write dependencies. A backward dangerous structure is identified in the dependency graph. The backward dangerous structure includes a first read-write dependency from a second transaction to a first transaction, and a second read-write dependency from a third transaction to the second transaction. A transaction is aborted based on the identified backward dangerous structure. Each non-aborted transaction is committed. Steps for update reordering, update coalescence, and inter-block parallelism are described.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may provide techniques for authenticating a user using transaction-based authentication questions that are generated based on item-level purchase data. The item-level purchase data of a transaction may include specific details of a transaction such as identification of each item purchased and corresponding prices paid for each item. Transaction-based authentication questions for a financial account may be generated based on the item-level purchase data that an authorized user of the financial account is likely to remember and that a malicious actor is unlikely to correctly guess. As a result, the authorized user of the account is likely to be correctly authenticated while the malicious actor is likely to answer the transaction-based authentication question incorrectly. Authentication can therefore effectively block malicious actors without overly burdening actual authorized users during the authentication process.

Abstract: A method and related system of operations include obtaining, from a set of internet protocol (IP) addresses, a set of transaction messages indicating an on-chain address and determining whether a stored set of registered IP addresses comprises each respective address of the set of IP addresses. The method further includes determining whether a predicted use pattern related to the set of transaction messages matches a use pattern category and updating a record of an off-chain database associated with the on-chain address based on a determination that the stored set of registered IP addresses does not comprise each respective address of the set of IP addresses and a determination that the predicted use pattern matches the use pattern category.

Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying fraudulent activity in NFT exchanges are described. Embodiments of the present disclosure obtain transaction data for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and generate a transaction graph based on the transaction data. The transaction graph includes nodes corresponding to blockchain addresses and nodes corresponding to individual NFTs. Embodiments additionally identify a cycle of the transaction graph, predict a fraudulent activity based on the cycle using a machine learning model, and transmit an alert to a user indicating the predicted fraudulent activity.

Abstract: Techniques for off-chain security signing and on-chain enforcement for blockchain security are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system/process/computer program product for off-chain security signing and on-chain enforcement for blockchain security includes receiving a transaction from a distributed application (Dapp) to pre-screen the transaction prior to execution on a blockchain using a blockchain security provider; and appending a signature to the transaction that was pre-screened by the blockchain security provider, wherein the blockchain security provider did not detect an anomaly associated with the pre-screened transaction.

Abstract: In a computer-implemented method of facilitating detection of document-related fraud, fraudulent document detection rules may be generated or updated by training a machine learning program using image data corresponding to physical documents, and fraud determinations corresponding to the documents. The documents and fraudulent document detection rules may correspond to a first type of document. Image data corresponding to an image of one of the physical documents may be received, where the physical document corresponds to the first type of document. By applying the fraudulent document detection rules to the image data, it may be determined that the physical document is, or may be, fraudulent. An indication of whether the physical document is, or may be, fraudulent may be displayed to one or more people via one or more respective computing device user interfaces.

Abstract: Systems and methods for blockchain-based asset authentication are described. The disclosed embodiments leverage the traceability and immutability of blockchains (or distributed ledgers, in general) to enable the authentication and ownership of assets, e.g., luxury goods. In an example, this is achieved by first pairing an authentication chip with a physical product, and writing a transaction correlated with the first pairing to a blockchain. The product being acquired (reacquired) results in the blockchain being updated (e.g., an updated transaction being written to the blockchain) and the (subsequent) owner being provided with a digital passport that can be added to the owner's digital Web3 wallet. The described embodiments advantageously enable digital identities to be associated with physical goods, which adds value for customers making a long-term investment in a luxury good, and promotes sustainability and transparency in manufacturing and retail processes.

Abstract: Fraud detection model performance is represented as compressed data in the form of polynomial curve coefficients. A data compression setting, a set of independent variable values, and a set of dependent variable values are used in polynomial regression to generate coefficients of a polynomial curve. The data compression setting is related to the order of the polynomial, for example set to the degrees of freedom (DOF) defined as the polynomial order. A lower DOF yields a higher error, but with a higher degree of compression. The lowest DOF with a tolerable error is selected and the polynomial coefficients are transmitted to a remote node. The remote node regenerates the polynomial curve for comparison with a polynomial curve from a prior time period, in order to determine a performance trend. The trend is used to either generate an alert or trigger further training of the fraud detection model.

In some instances, backtesting data may be generated from past clearance sales, and a comparison of the backtesting data to the current clearance program may be performed to update the markdown schedule. In some instances, updated sales data may be received, and model parameters updated. A user interface presenting a revised demand forecast may be generated, and a clearance schedule implementation tool may update the optimal markdown schedule for the inventory item for future periods of the clearance program.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises: receiving, using a client application executing on a user device, a user request for additional contents related to an object; constructing, for the object, an object GTIF product-token capturing transform invariant features identified for the object; determining whether the object GTIF product-token matches a particular pair of a set of graphs of transform invariant features product-token pairs (GTIF product-token pairs); wherein the set of GTIF product-token pairs comprises one or more of: a pair comprising a known GTIF product-token and a location data determined for a location of a user device, or others; in response to determining that the object GTIF product-token matches the particular pair, determining particular additional content based on the particular pair, and displaying the particular additional content on the user device.

Abstract: There may be large numbers of content items available at current content provider systems. Subsets of these content items may be eligible to participate in events, such as sales. A content provider system may determine content item eligibility for events using content item data and proactively query vendor systems for participation in such events. The content provider system may iteratively query vendor systems based on an ordered set of eligible content items. The content provider system may monitor content items for updated content items data and proactively query a vendor system if a content item becomes eligible for an event based on updated content item data. Content items associated with a sale may be sorted and presented to a user based on user and/or content item data.
