Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Helleborus plant named ‘HL 1040’ characterized by its upright to somewhat outwardly spreading and mounded plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; dark green-colored leaflets with lighter green-colored venation; freely flowering habit; light purple and light pink to white-colored flowers; and good garden performance.
Abstract: A pot or pan lid is configured for stacking with identical or differently sized lids that have an identical handle or knob with a dimple on the upper surface. The side of the lid opposite the handle has a complimentary protrusion configured to stably engage the dimple. The edge of the knob may extend laterally to correspond with the lid curvature to also support a similar lid on the knob perimeter that is distal from the dimple. The engaged central dimple and more distal perimeter of the knob provide for stable stacking of a plurality of lids in a level arrangement that avoids one or more lids tipping over.

Abstract: A laundry treating apparatus includes a body provided with a laundry inlet; and a door configured to open or close the laundry inlet, wherein the door includes a door frame having a first opening portion facing the laundry inlet and a second opening portion corresponding to a display module mounted at an inside in a state that the door is closed; and a door cover coupled to the door frame to form an appearance of the door, the door cover includes a non-light-transmitting region, and a first light transmitting region corresponding to the first opening portion and a second light transmitting region corresponding to the second opening portion within the non-light-transmitting region, and a mounting guide for an alignment between the first opening portion and the first light transmitting region and an alignment between the second opening portion and the second light transmitting region is provided on at least one of the door frame and door cover during mutual coupling.
Abstract: The modular screed plate assembly and method has a road paver/finisher, a structural/conductor plate and modular screed plates. The road paver/finisher has a paver under side, a power source and a heating element, for heating the modular screed plates. The modular screed plates have coupling elements, and retainer quick-connect/releases, and align as a modular screed plate array, providing a tensionally yielding gap allowing the modular screed plate array to absorb pressures from paving operations. The structural/conductor plate couples with the coupling elements and has screed plate retaining locks to securely receives the retainer quick-connect/releases, in order to secure itself to the modular screed plates. The structural/conductor plate receives heat directly from the heating element, and provides indirect heat to the modular screed plate array.

Abstract: An EGR apparatus includes an EGR passage to allow part of exhaust gas discharged from an engine to an exhaust passage to flow as EGR gas into an intake passage; an EGR valve to regulate an EGR flow rate in the EGR passage; various sensors for detecting an engine running state; and an ECU to control the EGR valve based on the detected running state to diagnose abnormality in the EGR valve. The ECU calculates a reference intake pressure according the detected engine rotation speed and load by reference to a reference intake pressure map showing a relationship of the reference intake pressure to engine rotation speed, and engine load, and determine whether or not the EGR valve has abnormality in opening/closing by comparing the reference intake pressure with the detected intake pressure.
Abstract: A refrigerator includes a cabinet that defines a first storage compartment; a first door that is opened or closed to allow or prevent access to an interior of the first storage compartment; a storing device coupled to the first door to define a second storage compartment, wherein, when the first door is closed, the second storage compartment is disposed in the first storage compartment; and a second door connected to the first door and configured to be opened or closed to allow or prevent access to an interior of the second storage compartment, wherein the interior of the second storage compartment is accessible when the first door is closed and the second door is opened, wherein the first door includes a plurality of first coupling parts to which the storing device is coupled, wherein the storing device includes: a frame; and a basket installed on the frame, wherein each of the frame and the basket includes at least one second coupling part interacting with at least one of the plurality of first coupling par
Abstract: In the case that a first scanning line having a smaller number of pixels to be driven than that of a second scanning line in a display device having a heteromorphic display region, capacitance is added to an extended scanning line in which the first scanning line extends to an outside of the display region. A large difference in RC delay between scanning lines generated by the number of pixels to be driven can be compensated for by adding the capacitance, so that luminance unevenness can be prevented to contribute to improvement of display quality.
Abstract: A wireless power transmitting apparatus wirelessly charging a wireless power receiving apparatus is provided. The wireless power transmitting apparatus includes a power providing unit configured to provide power, a gate driver configured to generate a differential signal formed of a first signal and a second signal from the power provided from the power providing unit, an amplifier configured to amplify the differential signal by a predetermined gain, a power transmitting unit configured to transmit the amplified differential signal to the wireless power receiving apparatus, and a differential signal correcting circuit that is disposed between the gate driver and the amplifier and is configured to correct the differential signal so that a predetermined phase difference between the first signal and the second signal is maintained.
