  • Patent number: 12115397
Abstract: The present invention relates to a deployable fire suppressive device designed for efficiently extinguishing fires, particularly suitable for campfires and kitchen stove fires. This innovative device features an extendable handle, transitioning from three feet in a collapsed state to six feet when extended, ensuring user safety from heat and flames. The core component is a fire-resistant fabric, arranged in a tubular formation, supported by a collapsible spring steel frame reminiscent of an oversized “Slinky.” This design enables quick deployment and effective coverage of the fire, robbing it of oxygen to extinguish it swiftly. The tubular fabric can be adapted to various shapes, including a square configuration, enhancing its versatility across different fire scenarios. The device is designed for user-friendly operation, easy storage, and reusability, making it a practical solution for quick fire suppression.

  • Patent number: 12115418
Abstract: A motor resistance control structure for an exercising apparatus comprises a motor, a drawing member, a control unit, and a sensing element. The control unit controls the motor to generate a resistance and outputs a first instruction to allow an output shaft to rotate by a first present revolution along a first sense of rotation. The drawing member receives an applied force and pulls the output shaft to rotate by a training revolution along the first sense of rotation. The sensing element senses the applied force and gets a sensing result. By the comparison of the applied force with the resistance, the control unit controls the output shaft to rotate by a second preset revolution along a second sense of rotation or release the resistance of the motor, which avoids a problem in an ordinary exercising apparatus that a counterweight may fall freely to injure a user.

Abstract: An article of apparel includes a padding system that dynamically changes configuration in response to an impending impact. The padding system may change from a state that has a high flexibility and offers low protection from impact to a state that has a low flexibility and offers increase protection from impact. The system may use a filament to constrict a plurality of padding elements together in order to increase the overall stiffness of the pad. The filament may be tightened and loosened by a spool. The spool may receive a signal regarding the impending impact from a sensor that is a part of the article of apparel, or a sensor that is separate from it.

  • Patent number: 12115444
Abstract: System and methods for increasing the engagement of a guest with experiences provided at a destination using an interactive gaming system controllably operating a multiplicity of game access points. Game access points scan an individual guest passing through a detection zone to determine the amount and use of themed products such as clothing being worn, or themed articles and devices being carried (where devices include active glasses for use in selectively revealing secret messages). Scanning comprises wireless electronic means such as RFID tags embedded in clothing, articles, and devices, and image processing of images. The combination of sensing methods confirms both presence and current used (e.g., currently “being worn or carried.”) Guest may pre-associate with “themed personas” where scanning is indicative of one or more personas and used to change the guest's destination experience accordingly. The system encourages the purchase and wearing of destination products as advantageous to gaming goals.

Abstract: A control device and a correcting method of a control device with a strength feedback function are disclosed. The control device includes a vibrator, a driver, a strength sensor, and a processor. In correction procedures, the driver provides a driving signal with a plurality of different setting voltage values respectively to the vibrator. In each correction procedure, the driver adjusts a frequency of the driving signal to setting frequency values by time division. In the correction procedures, the strength sensor senses a strength generated by a vibration of the vibrator to obtain strength sensing information respectively corresponding to the setting voltage values. The processor analyzes the strength sensing information, the setting frequency values, and the setting voltage values to obtain relationship information between the setting frequency values and the setting voltage values corresponding to each strength sensing information.
