Abstract: An electronic filter system for disinfection of all kinds of fluids which need to be disinfected, particularly including air and water. The electronic filter system is designed to be integrated into fluid ducts and channels. The electronic filter system constitutes a standard system in terms of its fundamental systematics, with proper dimensions for the fluid duct or channel the said system to be integrated. The electronic filter system, when used simultaneously with the flow of a fluid through fluid ducts or channels, will ensure disinfection of the fluid without the need for any long disinfection tunnels which are expensive in terms of both installation and power costs.

Abstract: A device for controlled dispensing of fluid 100 is described. The device for controlled dispensing of f) dispenses fluid in micro quantities within predefined amount of time in a dispensing cycle. A primary tank 105 including liquid is positioned preferably over a plunger unit 120. A controller 115 configured to dispense fluid in dispensing cycles for repeatedly dispensing the fluid by activating an electromagnet 205 of the plunger unit 220. A plunger 215 of the plunger unit 120 reciprocally movable from a first position to a second position and vice versa to release fluid to a needle unit 125. The removable and replaceable needle unit 125 transfers predefined quantity of the fluid received from a tube 110 to a vial 130.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for mitigating the risk of insulin stacking in automated insulin delivery systems. In AID systems configured to both automatically calculate insulin delivery based on glucose levels and receive manual programming of meal boluses configured to counteract carbohydrates in a meal, insulin stacking can result if the system automatically increases insulin delivery based on a rise in glucose levels in response to consumption of a meal and the user later programs a meal bolus for the meal. The risk of such double dosing is mitigated by the systems and methods disclosed herein by enabling the system to account for recent automated insulin increases when a meal bolus is programmed.

Abstract: A device includes a pump body that has at least one variable-size compartment. The pump body is configured to be actuated to change the size of the at least one variable-size compartment. Flexible bladders are disposed in the at least one compartment. At least one common port is fluidly connected with interiors of the flexible bladders. The change in the size of the at least one variable-size compartment either compresses or expands the flexible bladders in unison and thereby, respectively, either expels the interiors through the at least one common port or draws a vacuum into the interiors through the at least one common port.

The actuation mechanism comprises an outer sleeve telescopically relative to the delivery device and an inner sleeve telescopically arranged relative to the outer sleeve. The outer sleeve is axially translatable relative to the delivery device, and the inner sleeve is axially translatable relative to the outer sleeve. In a first state, the inner sleeve protrudes distally from the outer sleeve and the outer sleeve protrudes distally from the delivery device. In a second state, the inner sleeve is contained within the outer sleeve. Movement of the outer sleeve proximally relative to the delivery device in the second state initiates delivery of a medicament in the delivery device.
