The device includes an annular body, which in some embodiments includes an accordion-like configuration, that is adapted to be inserted within a waistband of the lower body garment and expanded to temporarily widen the waistband of the underwear or lower body garment. As such, a user (or caregiver) is able to easily pull the underwear over the widest and/or the lowest part of the lower body of the user (for example, the buttocks or the feet).

The microprocessor may calculate a power array corresponding to a requested power for each electric load. Logic is provided for populating the power army in a pattern that reduces the magnitude of harmonic currents and flicker.

In operation, the retrieval arm may engage a basket and cause movement of the basket about the housing. A method for classifying a tympanic membrane includes steps of: receiving, from an interrogation system, one or more datasets relating to the tympanic membrane; determining a set of parameters from the one or more datasets, wherein at least one parameter of the set of parameters is related to a dynamic property or a static position of the tympanic membrane; and outputting a classification of the tympanic membrane based on a classifier model derived from the set of parameters. The classification comprises one or more of a state, a condition, or a mobility metric of the tympanic membrane.
