  • Patent number: 10589881
Abstract: Apparatus and method for filling flowable materials such as fluids and bulk goods into flexible open-mouth bags, the apparatus including a stationary part and a movable part wherein the movable part is provided with multiple filling stations. Each filling station has a retaining device fastened to the movable part. A plurality of handling stations are received and distributed at the stationary part. A handling station is configured to take over empty open-mouth bags and a handling station is configured for filling a bag. One handling station is provided with a weighing unit. A bag receiving unit is configured to receive and guide the bag. The bag receiving unit at the handling station equipped with a weighing unit can be temporarily decoupled from force transmission to the retaining device to enable separate weighing of the bag receiving unit with the bag.

  • Publication number: 20110203464
Abstract: A lid construction is described for compression of the content of a container, where a body in connection to the lid of the container is set up to create a pressure down onto the content such that it is compressed. It is characterised in that it comprises a moment arm construction which on rotation is set up to push the element down to its active position, and to be pulled up to its passive, rest position. The moment arm construction is preferably integrated in the lid, and it comprises compacting a relatively longer arm part (40a,40b) which is firmly connected to the relatively shorter arm part (48a,48b), and where the moment arm is rotary mounted in the lid. Also described is a construction of a docking station for a waste container and where the lid construction is integrated. Application of the inventions is also described.

  • Patent number: 7089853
Abstract: A trash compactor suitable for backpacking having two parts: a container and a removable plunger. The container is made from a tube. The ends of the tube are formed to accept caps. The caps are fitted with gaskets to prevent leaking of liquids and odors. One of the end caps has a plug to allow liquids to be drained from the container during compression. In one embodiment, the plunger has a flat press end and a handle. In another embodiment, the plunger base is fitted into one of the screw caps. The handle is a threaded shaft that screws into the plunger base. The container may be lined with a plastic bag for disposal or the trash can be stored in the container and then transferred to a separate plastic bag for disposal. The compactor can be used in recreational vehicles, boats and automobiles as well as by hikers.
