Abstract: A paper or sheet material embossing press that uses snap-fit parts with a minimal use of bolts, rivets, welding, is disclosed. The embossing press has an embossing (or forward) end and rear end, and is constructed of a base frame having a lower arm extending from the rear end to the embossing end and having structure for supporting a lower die or die-holder at the embossing end. The embossing press further has a lever extending upwardly from the rear end and forwardly to a position over the embossing end, the lever supporting portion pivots yet has removably supported thereon the anchoring end of an operating lever.
Abstract: A compact disc embossing device including a base member. A handle is pivotally disposed with the base member. The handle has a hooked portion formed on an interior surface thereof. An embossing disc is coupled with the handle. A corresponding raised boss is secured to a lower portion of the base member. A locking pin selectively engages the hooked portion of the handle.
Abstract: A compression tool embossing die having a frame and a movable embossing pad. The frame has a U-shaped member and two side plates attached to opposite ends of the U-shaped member. The side plates have slots therein. The embossing pad has an embossing pad member, a dowel and a backstop. The dowel has its ends movably located in the slots of the side plates. The pad member has two wedge shaped slots in its bottom surface. The die further comprises two springs located in the wedge shaped slots and biasing the embossing pad at a first position on the frame.
Abstract: A punching/embossing tool for sheet materials including at least one matched punch/die set having octagonally shaped magnetically attractable bases and a pressing mechanism including a first and second pivotally connected compression member. Each of the compression members has a punch/die receiving cavity having a retaining magnet having at least four planar magnetic surfaces oriented with respect to each other in a manner to allow four of the eight planar base sidewalls to be placed in sidewise contact with the at least four planar magnetic surfaces of the retaining magnet.
Abstract: An embossing machine includes a frame, a top magnet, die disk, and a bottom magnet. The top magnet has a top die cavity, a fixed hook, a handle and a bracket on the upper portion, and a bottom die cavity in the lower portion, wherein the top die cavity has a step circular surface which has a plurality of sliced screw holes formed in the top circumference and has a first elastic element disposed therein. The top magnet attracts a top die engaged with the top die cavity through a key and a key way formed thereof, wherein the top magnet has a bolt fixed therein and a second elastic element disposed inside. The die disk is engaged with the bolt on the top magnet, wherein the die disk has a gear fixed thereon and a plurality of sliced screw holes formed on the circumference for engaging with the top die cavity. The die disk further has an adjusting bolt which has a thorough opening therein to engage with the bolt on the top magnet, wherein the adjusting bolt has a bushing, a washer and a screw disposed at one end.
Abstract: A power driven seal for impressing a design on a sheet of paper. It incorporates a solenoid having a housing and a movable core. A frame supports the housing. A die holder is supported from the movable core and a splash is supported by the frame beneath the die holder. Guide pins extend down from the solenoid housing through holes in the die holder.
Abstract: An electrically operated steel seal printing device wherein the relative angle of the mold halves and the distance between the mold halves are adjustable.
Abstract: A unitary paper impression device (10) that is small, light and safe and that ca emboss impressions into paper (12) with ease and minimal effort is disclosed. The device (10) includes a male embossing section (20) which has a contacting face surface (22) and an opposite back surface (27), the face surface (22) being a face plane (28) and at least one outwardly extending projection (23) therefrom. The device (10) also includes a female embossing section (30) which has a contacting face surface (32) and an opposite back surface (37), the face surface (32) being a face plane (38) and at least one complimentary inwardly extending trough (33) therein for receiving each projection (23) of the male embossing section (20). An interconnecting bendable web (40) contiguous with the back surfaces (27,37) is further provided for hingedly connecting the sections (20,30) so that their respective faces (22,32) can mate to impress an image in a piece of paper (12) disposed therebetween.
