Abstract: A switching device for an electrically driven vehicle, in particular a track vehicle, has a switch unit that is provided for respectively connecting and disconnecting a vehicle drive unit to and from an electrical supply line carrying high voltage and has at least two switch contacts. A drive unit is provided for driving a relative movement of the switch contacts with respect to one another. A housing unit receives the switch unit and the drive unit. The housing unit contains a support for supporting at least the switch unit. In order to provide a generic switch device for which a compact construction can be achieved, the switch unit is arranged in a lying position relative to the support.
Abstract: A switch assembly for a conveyor is provided. The switch assembly includes a rail section forming a portion of the conveyor assembly. The switch assembly has a first gear assembly pivotable about a first pivot axis and carrying a first gate and a second gear assembly pivotable about a second pivot axis and carrying a second gate, the second pivot axis being positioned below a plane extending perpendicular to the rail section from the first pivot axis. A trolley stop assembly for a conveyor is also provided. The trolley stop includes a body having a first side portion and a second side portion arranged to be disposed on first and second sides of a rail section. A pivot member extends through the body and at least a portion of the rail section. A stop member is carried by an upper portion of the body and a weighted member is also carried by the body arranged to position the stop member for engagement with a trolley. A conveyor assembly including a switch assembly and trolley stop is also disclosed.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus for switching a vehicle from a first track to a second track. The track-switching device may be rotated by a motor, and may have a drive axle and a primary axle. The drive axle may have a barrel located at one end of the drive axle, the barrel having a plurality of switch tracks located thereon and a braking assembly connected to the drive axle and spaced from the barrel. The primary axle may have a flywheel and a clutch assembly. The drive axle may then be driven by the primary axle upon engagement of the clutch assembly via the motor and the energy stored in the flywheel. A method for switching a vehicle from a first track to a second track is also provided.
Abstract: A track-alternating arrangement for magnetic-levitation roadways, in which one of a series of mutually aligned bearers in each roadway establishes a first junction to join the roadways together. The bearer is inflectable to form the first junction. Each bearer, in an inflected state in one roadway, is aligned with another bearer in an adjacent roadway. An abutting one of the bearers adjacent the inflectable bearer is shiftable out beyond a free base of a car traveling over the roadway to provide sufficient space for the car to pass the junction. The abutting bearers are inflected to establish a different second junction. The inflectable bearers are shiftable out beyond a free cross-section of the car when the abutting bearers establish the different second junction.

Abstract: A system for switching rails that rotates in a horizontal plane about a pivot to direct a vehicle traversing a system of rails along alternate paths is provided. The rail switching system also has a main line connector for providing one vehicle path between two segments of a main line. The rail switching system has a branch line connector for providing an alternate vehicle path between a segment of the main line and a branch line segment. The main line connector and branch line connector are fixed relative to one another and rotate about the pivot as a single unit.
