Abstract: A device can be provided for pivoting a front hatch of a track-guided vehicle, which can a reduced weight, while at the same time being able to reduce susceptibility to failure. The device can include a first pivot lever connectable to the front hatch and a second pivot lever connectable to the front hatch, where the pivot levers can be rotatable about a common rotational axis, to pivot the front hatch relative the vehicle chassis. The device can also include a first actuating element connectable to the vehicle chassis which can interact with the first pivot lever. For example, upon the first actuating element being actuated, torque can be exerted on the first pivot lever. A second actuating element can be provided which is connectable to the vehicle chassis, and which interacts with the second pivot lever. Upon the second actuating element being actuated, torque can be exerted on the second pivot lever. The device can further include a synchronization element (e.g.
Abstract: The invention aims at increasing the availability of doors systems without affecting the reliability of control systems. For this purpose, the invention provides to take advantage of the alternating operation of door systems positioned on either side of the same car. An on-board panel system according to the invention includes associated control panels control means for transmitting authorization signals for the exclusive opening of side doors. The control means combine a low speed signal and a validation side selection signal to carry out, in each environment, opening/closing authorizations of the motor control of its environment and the motor control of the associated environment. Applications to the accessories and the mechanical part of the railway door systems (motors, latch fittings, loudspeakers, etc) as well as their door environment (interface with the communication network).
Abstract: The walls in the Unity Platform System are installed all along the platform to match the position of the train doors; on the other hand for different model trains, two new systems which are installed completely free from the train doors have been proposed in the file. The doors with roller bearings move on the seating sledge in the walls. All the doors are attached to one close circle rope, which moves over a pulley set. One drive group activates this rope. The drive group consists of one variable speed reversible motor; one brake and one drive sheave. The rope is pulled to the right or left by the drive sheave. All the doors open or close at the same time, being attached to the same rope. Besides, to bridge the gap between the platform edge and the train, three different Gap Devices have been proposed in the file.
Abstract: The drive for a sliding door or a swinging-sliding door of a rail vehicle, comprising a guide rail which is fixed inside the rail vehicle and on which a carriage carrying a door leave is arranged in a longitudinally displaceable and optionally rotatable manner, and a spindle drive provided with a spindle which extends parallel to the guide rail and a spindle nut which is connected to the carriage in a fixed manner in the direction of the axis of the spindle. The spindle nut and the carriage are connected by means of a rotative sliding joint.
Abstract: A control method of a powered sliding device for a vehicle sliding door, wherein when an operating switch for starting a powered sliding device is pressed to open the door, and if the vehicle speed is about 3 km/h or less and the foot brake or the parking brake is operated, the decelerating state of the vehicle just before is confirmed, and when the decelerating state does not correspond to the quick braking, the powered sliding device is started.
Abstract: An improved door assembly has a single movable door and may have a separate movable high platform threshold. The door assembly is formed of an upper door section and a lower door section which is fixed to the upper door section. A support member may be integral with or slidably engaged with the door assembly, disposed as an angle iron fixed to the door assembly, or disposed on the side of a stairwell of a rail passenger car.
Abstract: The invention provides a door system for a transit vehicle. It has an actuator which provides a rotary motion about an axis of the actuator for moving the door panel between an open position uncovering the aperture and a closed unlocked position covering the aperture. The actuator also provides a linear motion along the axis of the actuator for moving the door panel between the closed unlocked position and a closed locked position. The rotary motion followed by the axial motion is provided by a cylinder having a piston moved by fluid pressure. The piston includes a guide track in its exterior which engages rollers in the cylinder. The guide track has one portion curving around the piston and one portion parallel to the axis. The curving part provides the rotary motion and the straight part provides the axial motion. When the rotary motion is completed the piston encounters a stop on a shaft which supports the door. The actuator then moves the door axially to engage locks.
Abstract: A window assembly for a locomotive is sealingly disposed in an opening within the sidewall of the locomotive and attached to the sidewall to allow limited relative movement of the window assembly with respect to the sidewall without disrupting the seal.

Abstract: A baggage rack under flap for the passenger space of a rail vehicle including a plurality of flaps placed end to end, the baggage rack being supported by brackets, the flap being longitudinally hinged to be capable of tilting and to give access to the portion situated beneath the baggage rack, the flap being held in a closed position by locking, the flap being made up of at least two longitudinal elements, each element being hinged along one of its longitudinal edges by a hinge, the other longitudinal edge of said element being fitted with locking means, the hinge being adjustable in position relative to the brackets to enable the flaps to be aligned.
Abstract: A chair assembly (20) for chairlift including a seat (22) and enclosure member (43) mounted to the seat (22) for movement between open and closed positions. The chair assembly (20) has a drive (51) for moving the enclosure (43) which includes a rail (52) mounted to the movable enclosure member (43) and drive rollers (56, 57) carried by the frame (26) of the seat assembly (21). The drive rollers (56, 57) are powered by motion of the chair assembly (20) through actuator rollers (82, 83) that engage stationary actuator rails (84, 85) at the chair terminals. The actuator rollers (82, 83) are coupled by flexible drive cables (87, 88) to the drive rollers (56, 57) so that movement of the chair along the actuator rails (84, 85) produces rotation of the actuator rollers (82, 83) and the drive rollers (56, 57), which displaces the rail (52) and movable enclosure member (43).
