Abstract: A vehicle locking apparatus for a vehicle using a coupling device for the separable connection of a vehicle door to a vehicle structure part, includes a first coupling element with two locking wedges mounted so as to be displaceable parallel to one another and having wedge faces. At least one of the locking wedges is formed with a locking nose on the wedge-side end face, and a second coupling element interacts with the first coupling element. The second coupling has two retaining jaws receiving the first coupling element therebetween with wedge grooves having wedge faces. The locking wedges are pushed via a driving device into the wedge grooves by separation of the wedge faces apart from one other and the locking nose is thereby received in a locking opening arranged in a wedge groove of a retaining jaw.
Abstract: The invention aims at increasing the availability of doors systems without affecting the reliability of control systems. For this purpose, the invention provides to take advantage of the alternating operation of door systems positioned on either side of the same car. An on-board panel system according to the invention includes associated control panels control means for transmitting authorization signals for the exclusive opening of side doors. The control means combine a low speed signal and a validation side selection signal to carry out, in each environment, opening/closing authorizations of the motor control of its environment and the motor control of the associated environment. Applications to the accessories and the mechanical part of the railway door systems (motors, latch fittings, loudspeakers, etc) as well as their door environment (interface with the communication network).
Abstract: The walls in the Unity Platform System are installed all along the platform to match the position of the train doors; on the other hand for different model trains, two new systems which are installed completely free from the train doors have been proposed in the file. The doors with roller bearings move on the seating sledge in the walls. All the doors are attached to one close circle rope, which moves over a pulley set. One drive group activates this rope. The drive group consists of one variable speed reversible motor; one brake and one drive sheave. The rope is pulled to the right or left by the drive sheave. All the doors open or close at the same time, being attached to the same rope. Besides, to bridge the gap between the platform edge and the train, three different Gap Devices have been proposed in the file.
Abstract: The invention relates to a railway vehicle including a body defining a wall in which an access passage is embodied, at least one closing sliding door, a sealing joint carried by the door and applicable to the wall when said door in a closed position. Said wall includes a panel provided with a generally cylindrical envelop and a seat which is protruded with respect to said panel and defines a bearing surface for supporting the joint only when the door is in the closed position, wherein said bearing surface of a supporting element extends along a profile substantially identical to the joint profile and said joint profile extends transversely with respect to the door displacement direction.
Abstract: The drive for a sliding door or a swinging-sliding door of a rail vehicle, comprising a guide rail which is fixed inside the rail vehicle and on which a carriage carrying a door leave is arranged in a longitudinally displaceable and optionally rotatable manner, and a spindle drive provided with a spindle which extends parallel to the guide rail and a spindle nut which is connected to the carriage in a fixed manner in the direction of the axis of the spindle. The spindle nut and the carriage are connected by means of a rotative sliding joint.

Abstract: A portal system for a railway or other vehicle having steps from the interior flooring downwards to the ground has a bridge platform to be deployed for use when the vehicle is stopped at a railway station platform. A threshold member closes at least part of the gap that typically lies between the bridge platform and the railway station platform. A carrier mechanism supports the threshold member on the outer side of the door and deploys the threshold member adjacent to the bridge platform when the bridge platform is also deployed and the door is open, and not otherwise. The carrier mechanism comprises a rail mounted on the threshold mechanism, and at least two slides mounted on the outer side of the do or and that slide with respect to the rail as the door slides between open and shut positions.
Abstract: The invention relates to a door for a railway vehicle, intended for a door opening having steps, on which there are provided a platform and a threshold above the steps to permit disembarking onto a railway platform situated higher than the steps. The invention is characterised in that the door includes a single leaf and a mechanism provided for controlling the unlocking of the threshold member with respect to the door, when the platform is in the position of use and the door opens, so that this threshold member remains in place opposite the edge of the platform in the position of use and the edge of the railway platform.
Abstract: A door hanger assembly for a rapid transit railway passenger car includes an axially elongated generally cylindrical support shaft, and a door carrier assembly which includes a pair of bearing modules received and supported within opposite ends of a tubular sheath for rolling engagement with the support shaft and a door hanger depending from the sheath. Mounting members connected to opposite ends of the support shaft carry threaded fasteners for securing the hanger assemby to the frame of an associated rail car. Annular wipers and lubricant retainers carried by the bearing modules wipe and lubricate the support shaft as an associated sliding door carried by the hanger assembly moves between its open and closed positions.
