Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a ureteral stent and a preparation method thereof. The ureteral stent has at least one pre-coating formed on its surface and at least one hydrophilic lubricating coating formed on the pre-coating. Preferably, the pre-coating and the hydrophilic lubricating coating are formed by photocuring, thermal curing, chemical reaction, physical adsorption, crystallization or freezing. By means of the technical solutions of the present disclosure, a stable and firm coating is formed on the surface of the ureteral stent with a more complicated shape, the friction force (the friction force of the 30th cycle is small, and the friction force of the 30th cycle/initial friction force is kept within 2 times) of the ureteral stent is greatly reduced, and the lubricating performance is greatly improved.
Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for preparing an eco-friendly crayon comprising: a) adding a pigment and food coloring agent while melting beeswax by heating; b) cooling the beeswax to block and then pulverizing the blocked beeswax; c) melting carnauba wax by heating; d) mixing the pulverized beeswax obtained in the step b with the carnauba wax obtained in the step c to prepare a mixture; and e) placing the mixture into a mold and cooling the mixture to prepare crayons, and an eco-friendly crayon including beeswax, the pigment, the food coloring agent, and carnauba wax prepared by the method.
Abstract: This invention relates to a solid marking composition comprising at least one resin, at least one pigment, at least one dispersant, at least one solvent, and a gelling agent. This invention also provides a method of making the solid marking composition.
Abstract: A color filter having a filter layer comprising a fluorinated phthalocyanine pigment and at least one second pigment. In one embodiment, the second pigment has a maximum absorption at a wavelength from 400 to 500 nm to create a green color filter.

Abstract: To provide an image bearing member protecting agent that includes at least a hydrophobic organic compound and an amphiphile organic compound. Preferred embodiments are that the hydrophobic organic compound is a hydrocarbon wax, and the hydrocarbon wax is at least a wax selected from normal paraffins, isoparaffins, and cycloparaffins; and that the amphiphile organic compound is an polyalcohol esterified compound including a nonionic surface active surfactant, and the nonionic surface active surfactant is an alkyl carboxylic acid represented by a structural formula, CnH2n+1COOH.
Abstract: The phase change, curable composition comprises curable monomer, photoinitiator that initiates polymerization of the curable monomer, and phase change agent that provides the composition with an increase in viscosity of at least four orders of magnitude, from a first temperature, the first temperature being from 50° C. to 130° C., to a second temperature, the second temperature being from 0° C. to 70° C., wherein the second temperature is at least 10° C. below the first temperature. A coating over an image may be applied by providing a composition comprising curable monomer at a first temperature; applying the composition over the image, the image being at a second temperature; and exposing the composition to radiation to initiate polymerization of the curable monomer. In this process, the composition has a viscosity at the second temperature that is at least four orders of magnitude greater than its viscosity at the first temperature.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a first solid drawing material comprising water, a coloring agent, a solidifying agent that is a fatty acid alkali metal salt, and an O/W type emulsion of a separating agent that is an oily material which hardly volatilizes at room temperature. The first solid drawing material preferably contains silicone oil. A second solid drawing material is also disclosed, which comprises an organic solvent, a coloring agent, a solidifying agent that is at least one selected from the group consisting of dibenzylidene sorbitol, tribenylidene sorbitol, and derivatives thereof, a separating agent that is an oily material which hardly volatilizes at room temperature, and a resin soluble in the organic solvent. In these solid drawing materials, the separating agent is evenly dispersed, and therefore they have stable drawing properties and erasability.
Abstract: A solid marking composition comprises a solid matrix containing at least one type of optically variable interference pigment flakes. The solid marking composition provides a document or article with a copy and counterfeit protection feature, and is preferably used in a writing instrument for applying hand-written anti-counterfeit markings and signatures.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a solid marking composition as writing means in a writing instrument. The solid, marking composition comprises a solid matrix containing at least one type of optically variable interference pigment flakes. The solid marking composition provides a document or article with a copy and counterfeit protection feature, and is preferably used in a writing instrument for applying hand-written anti-counterfeit markings and signatures.
Abstract: A marking composition suitable for marking colored substrates, especially dark substrates, is disclosed. The marking composition comprises a wax, a fatty acid, a reflecting filler, and a colorant selected from an oil soluble dye, an oil dispersable dye, or an oil dispersable pigment. A defoamer and a non-reflecting filler can be optionally included in the marking composition. For example, the marking composition can be provided in the form of crayons, colored pencils, and the like. A method of providing a mark on a colored substrate is also disclosed.
