    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an inkjet aqueous ink includes water, a pigment, a water-soluble organic solvent, a poorly water-soluble compound, a solubilizer that solubilizes the poorly water-soluble compound in water, and an acetylene glycol-based surfactant. The poorly water-soluble compound is 2,5,8,11-tetramethyl-6-dodecene-5,8-diol. The solubilizer is selected from polyoxyethylene anionic surfactants and non-ionic surfactants.
