Abstract: A facial cosmetic liquid contains a coloring phase containing crystalline mineral silica and coloring material; a major water phase containing water, an emulsifying component and a thickening component; and a minor oil phase containing emolient oils and an emulsifying component.
Abstract: Compositions containing an organic pigment coated with metal oxides, wherein the pigment particles are provided with a tenacious, dense, highly crosslinked coating of silica and/or alumina which is fixed by polycondensation of a silicate and/or aluminate with the free hydroxyl groups of a layer of ethyl cellulose that densely coats the surface of the pigment particles.Pigment compositions of this kind are distinguished in particular by excellent rheological properties in varnish and printing ink systems, by high gloss of the finishes obtained therewith, and by substantial non-deformation of the plastic mouldings pigmented therewith.
Abstract: A pigment composition contains a pigment and a dispersant. The dispersant is a phosphoric ester compound represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein at least one of the three Rs is a residuum of a polyester chain containing as principal bonds thereof ester bonds of a polycarboxylic acid and a polyalcohol.
