The plate is configured to position articles, such as a drink container and a snack container, on a top of the plate proximate to a user who is seated on the piece of furniture.

    Abstract: The subject matter of the invention is a table for attaching to the wall of an aircraft or the like, with a table top comprising at least two table top segments which are moveable relative to each other. According to the invention, the following features are provided: a) at least one table top segment has a screen on one side; b) two table top segments are pivotable or rotatable in relation to each other about at least two axes, with the first axis running parallel to an edge of a table top segment and the second axis running substantially perpendicularly to the first axis in the plane of a table top segment.
