Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include a stair step assisting device which aids a user, recovering from surgery or having an injury which prevents bearing weight on one foot or ankle, in climbing or descending a staircase. The stair step assisting device has a main body, a lower body and an upper body, which in some embodiments are adjustable relative to one another to accommodate heights of different users and/or different riser heights of different staircases. The device includes lower and upper tread interface surfaces which rest on treads of two adjacent steps, and lower and upper riser interface surfaces which are positioned against risers of two adjacent steps.

Abstract: A folding surface board is provided having at least six tiles. The folding surface board can be folded to provide working surfaces where all of the working surfaces of the folding surface board are fully exposed to being fully folded such that all of the tiles are stacked on top of each other while still connected to each other along their folded edges. The folding surface board can be divided in half, or such that only two working surfaces are exposed and a remaining number of tiles folded under the other exposed working surfaces. Sliding mechanisms are attached on an underside of the folding surface board such that the folding surface board can be locked in a fully expanded or partial configuration using the sliding mechanisms to lock and keep the desired number of tiles exposed and locked in place.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a convertible carrier rack and platform including a platform, a front rail including a pair of front rail segments, and a back rail including a pair of back rail segments, wherein the front and back rail segments are each removable and/or rotatable between a wall position along the front and back faces of the platform and a leg position for operation in a table-type mode.

The shopping cart can further comprise a collapsible secondary compartment comprising a first panel and a lower panel and defining a top opening. A cover panel can pivotably attach to the first panel and extend across the top opening.

Abstract: A portable cargo carrying assembly includes a cargo carrier that has a hitch engagement such that the hitch engagement is attachable to a hitch receiver of a vehicle to transport cargo. The cargo carrier has a pair of handles each is integrated into the cargo carrier thereby facilitating the cargo carrier to be carried by a user. A plurality of support legs is each pivotally attached to the cargo carrier. Each of the support legs is positionable in a stored position when the cargo carrier is attached to the vehicle. Each of the support legs is positionable in a deployed position when the cargo carrier is detached from the vehicle thereby facilitating the support legs to support the cargo carrier above a support surface such that the cargo carrier defines a table.

Abstract: A framework module for use in modular building construction comprises a plurality of elongate upright and cross beams, rigidly connected at or towards their ends to form a box frame with open side and end faces, and; at least one connection point on each of the upright beams which is configured to allow mutual connection with an equivalent connection point located on a substantially identical adjacent framework module, so that a plurality of framework modules can be connected together to form an open-web truss of vertically and horizontally aligned members.

Abstract: A detachable projection module and an electronic device having the same integrate an optical engine and an image processing unit into an independent detachable module, where the module case is fixedly connected to a device body of the electronic device, so that projection module can receive image signals from the electronic device and convert the received image signals into projection signals to be projected onto a surface near the device body of the electronic device. Through a dedicated or generic connector interface, the detachable projection module may be removed from one electronic device and be mounted to another electronic device, giving an electronic device capability of equipping a projection module to extend the electronic device with a secondary display or empower an electronic device, which has no display at first, with display ability.

Abstract: Portable furniture items including a support structure and a top member selectively coupled to the support structure. The support structure includes first and second supports. The first support includes a leg having a ground end and a waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end. The waist has an upper end opposite the ground end and defines a first notch proximate the upper end. The second support includes a leg having a ground end and a waist extending from the leg opposite the ground end. The waist of the second support has an upper end opposite the ground end and a lower end opposite the upper end and defines a second notch proximate the lower end. The first notch and the second notch are complimentarily configured to enable the second support to matingly couple with the first support.

Abstract: An industrial grade, field-usable Mobile Work Station, comprising a rolling cabinet having lockable internal storage, which is fitted with precision-adjustable, tubular rails on one or more sides to which special compound clamp-vice assemblies may be mounted at a plurality of locations to engagingly retain work pieces and hand and power tools, and which includes tool holders and an under-chassis rack for retaining a battery to power tools. An exemplary MWS is shown in which the X, Y and Z axes of pipe rails may be micro-adjusted to be in precise orthogonal relationship so that precision work may be accomplished in the field, even where the surface is not level. Leveling jacks are provided at one end of the cabinet to permit precise horizontal leveling of the cabinet pipe rails in both X and Y axes. Power tools include saws, grinders, welding spinners, benders, vices, anvils, drills, and the like.

Abstract: A walker to assist an infant in walking system including an infant walker assembly having, a T-shaped base unit including a horizontal support bar and, a perpendicular support bar; a first vertical support bar; an angled support bar; a T-shaped handle; and at least three wheels coupled to the T-shaped base unit. The infant walker assembly is made of non-toxic coated metal material for safety of the infant. The horizontal support bar and the perpendicular support bar together form the T-Shaped base unit. The three wheels are positionally coupled to the T-shaped base-unit making said infant walker assembly movable so that said infant-user can push said infant walker assembly when learning how to walk.

Abstract: A display stand case table provides additional utility for users attending tradeshows, conventions and similar events by providing a work table or display table usable for various purposes. In addition to including a protective housing for transporting displays stands, the case is convertible to a table configuration wherein a carried tabletop is supported by a top edge of the case along with a related hinged lid. In this way, the tabletop is of sufficient size for the display of promotional items, samples, brochures, etc. while also being sufficiently supported. In addition, a secondary lid is provided at an interim location along one side of the case body. The secondary lid can be supported in a substantially horizontal orientation, thus providing an additional supporting shelf. It is contemplated that this secondary support shelf provides a surface to hold or contain audio visual equipment, laptop computers or promotional materials.

The Table Bag is a tablecloth capable of resisting wind pressure while making the cleanup process after a party much simpler. The Table Bag is a tablecloth featuring a drawstring on its underside allowing for the cloth to remain in place on a table and to double as a trash bag for cleanup after a party.

Abstract: A leg assembly for selective attachment to a portable support structure having a base and removable lid said leg assembly. The leg assembly includes a plurality of legs that are selectively attachable to both the base and lid. When attached, the legs extending from the base to the lid thereby supporting the lid. The legs are substantially parallel to one another. The assembly further includes at least one cross member extending between two of the legs to stabilize and prevent lateral movement of the legs. The cross member also abutingly contacts and supports the lid so that the base and lid may function as a support structure.

Abstract: A collapsible table includes two end table sections and an intermediate table section each having an upper substantially planar surface and a lower surface. Each table section is comprise of two substantially equal halves hinged together along the length of the table section whereby the two halves can be moved between an operative position wherein the table section exhibits a continuous upper substantially planar surface and an inoperative folded position wherein the lower surfaces of each half are in substantial contact. The inner edges of each table section include a plurality of holes therein which allows the table section to be temporarily connected to an adjacent table section through the use of rods that fit into the holes. A plurality of legs is adapted to be temporarily connected to the underside of each table section. A carrying bag capable of containing said table therein and including a handle for carrying the same is also provided.

Abstract: A portable, insulated container, preferably a cooler, including an integrated table surface upon which items can be placed. The table surface is movable between a stowed position and an extended position, wherein each position the lid of the container can be lifted to access the interior cavity of the container. Advantageously, the footprint of the table surface in a horizontal plane is always located above the footprint of the container in a horizontal plane such that object or item in a surrounding area need not be disturbed in order to move the table surface between the stowed position and the extended position.

Abstract: A portable, insulated container, preferably a cooler, including an integrated table surface upon which items can be placed. The table surface is movable between a stowed position and an extended position, wherein each position the lid of the container can be lifted to access the interior cavity of the container. Advantageously, the footprint of the table surface in a horizontal plane is always located above the footprint of the container in a horizontal plane such that object or item in a surrounding area need not be disturbed in order to move the table surface between the stowed position and the extended position.

Abstract: A table and storage system (1) for coolers (3) having brackets (4) located on the sides of the (16) cooler. The brackets have apertures (7) for inserting extension legs (5), storage legs (18) and/or support arms (23) into. To place the table in an elevated position, bottoms of the extension legs are placed into the apertures on the brackets. The extension legs extend upward a predetermined distance from the brackets to support the table in an elevated position. To place the table in a stored position, the same procedure is followed using the storage legs. While the table is in an extended position, an enclosure (11) may be attached to the table and the cooler to enclose at least three sides of the cooler. A user may then place objects in the space between the table and the cooler for easy transportation.

Abstract: Said briefcase workstation is an extremely portable and workstation of remarkable stability in which the seat and table sections being the compartments and come together to make its own carrying case. Even as a briefcase there is room inside said case not just for the hardware required for assembly, but also for work related materials, medical equipment, laptop computer, or other technology, biological equipment, notebooks, journals, art and calligraphy supplies, for fly tying equipment and or lunch.

Abstract: A Multifunction Computer Table and Carrier (‘MCTC’) has two two-table configurations that increase horizontal work space while maintaining a small footprint making it ideal for commuters to get more work done in their ‘office on the go’ while a third configuration increases the safety of the computer or other work tools during storage and transportation. Slots in the tables and sides allow for securing straps to be used to secure a computer, printer, keyboard, other work tools and other items during use, storage and transport. A carrier with internal straps and pads compactly secures the MCTC, computer and other items in an efficient package to keep the items from internal sources of damage (bouncing around and against each other) while the MCTC and carrier also acts as a protective barrier for the items from outside sources of damage during storage and transport.

Abstract: A barrel type cooler having an open top cylindrical icing chamber an open bottom cylindrical lid slidably that fits over the icing chamber. The icing chamber includes hooks and the lid includes slots, each slot configured to receive a hook and having an open bottom allowing the lid to be removed from engagement with the icing chamber. Each slot has a length sufficient to allow the lid to slide over the icing chamber to a closed position. In addition, each slot includes a side channel configured to engage a corresponding hook to support the lid in a raised position. The side of the top has ingress openings allowing a user to reach through the side of the lid and into the icing chamber when the lid is supported by the icing chamber in the raised position.

Abstract: A travel lap desk has a foam wedge that rests on, and is removably coupled to, a deformable pad. A first magnetic element is attached to the underside of the foam wedge and a second magnetic element is attached to the upper surface of the deformable pad. These magnetic elements are positioned to removably couple the foam wedge to the top of the deformable pad. The foam wedge is sufficiently stiff to provide a writing surface and yet is sufficiently compliant to deform when impacted by the user without causing injury to the user. The foam wedge may be covered with a washable material that may be removable.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless keyboard desk that includes: a platform; a wireless keyboard within the platform; a supporting base; and an internal opening. The platform may also include extendable mouse pads. In one exemplary embodiment, the wireless keyboard desk includes an over flap, where the over flap covers and closes the keyboard desk converting the desk to a portable case that may also include a carrying strap. The supporting base may include at least two foldable legs that extend from the bottom surface of the keyboard desk. The internal opening receives a laptop computer that may be opened for use or stored in a closed position.

Abstract: A removable insert for Lazy Susan type rotatable tray having a base with a continuous side wall, the base supported by a vertical support post. The insert is wedge-shaped and has a curved contour for engaging the tray post and side wall. The insert has a raised perimeter, a variety of optional flat bottom walls with non-slip feet at each corner. The bottom wall may be solid or have circular cutouts having a diameter of about 2½ inches to fit a beverage can bottom end. A lid is provided to fit the raised perimeter. A shelf with attached legs permits stacking of inserts. The insert holds items, such as beverage cans, jars, and canned goods, upright and organized and permits tray spinning for item access without spilling or knocking over the items. The present device is durable, space-saving, and reasonably priced.

Abstract: A tray liner of flexible construction relies on the rigid airline or railroad car seat tray underneath it to create a horizontal clean and sanitary surface useful for supporting food and drink utensils. While it is especially useful for handling food items for toddlers or small children during travel, the tray liner may also be used on a high chair in a restaurant. It may also be used by older children to provide a play area for toys with multiple parts that may easily fall off a tray. Adult use by the general public or by handicapped people also offers a more secure dining platform with spill protection during travel. It has soft semi-rigid edges which function to keep objects or fluids from falling off the supporting tray. It has a sturdy outer covering with an impervious interior surface which is impermeable to liquids and waterproof.

Abstract: A convertible multiple panel assembly includes a plurality of panels that carry complementary releasable interlocking components. The components are selectively interengagable in a first pattern such that the panels define a box. The components are selectively disengaged from one another and re-interengaged in an alternative, second pattern to define a table and at least one associated bench.

Abstract: A cooler table comprising a storage compartment formed with a top edge, and a tabletop. The tabletop is manipulable between a closed position in which it closes said top edge, and a table position in which it is mounted on a post extending from said storage compartment serving as a table whilst allowing access to said storage compartment.

Abstract: A portable cooler and table assembly that may be easily transported in a single, self-contained unit is disclosed. The assembly may be converted for use as a table for a variety of recreational activities, e.g., dining, drinking, games such as ping pong, beer pong, table hockey, card games, board games, preparation for sporting events and meals. The table and cooler may be permanently attached to each other, or alternatively, the cooler may be detachable from the table. The table may fold or collapse to assist in converting the assembly from a compact, lightweight transportable unit into a fully extended and operable table and cooler. The table surface may contain surface features such as grooves, indentations, nets, game pieces, etc. The cooler may comprise any container that is capable of containing ice or some other refrigeration or heating system, e.g., a conventional 54 quart beverage cooler. Alternatively, the cooler may be replaced with a storage container or other storage device.

Abstract: A convertible cargo container system having individual components that provide a table or work surface. The container system includes a pair of foldable side panels and a pair of rigid end panels coupled to the ends of each side panel to form an enclosed container. A back panel is hingeably connected to a top panel to form one side panel, and a bottom panel is hingeably connected to a front panel to form the other side panel. Each of the front, back, and bottom panels has opposing coupling ends. The interior surface of each end panel has a coupling track that receives the coupling ends of the front, back, and bottom panels. Each of the side panels may be unfolded to provide a table or work surface. Additionally, each of the side panels have retracting or folding legs attached to the interior surface of the side panel that may be extended or unfolded to support the table or work surface. A vehicle hitch coupling support is attached to the bottom of the container.

Abstract: A storage chest that converts into a table. The storage chest includes a cover that detaches from the storage unit and, when legs are added, converts to a table top. The cover/table top includes grooved slots for holding beverage containers. Table legs are stored within a storage compartment of the storage unit and attach to the table top to form the table. The storage and table unit further includes doors that detach from the storage unit and attach to the cover to form table top extensions. Thus, the storage and table unit conveniently stores and organizes items, and may also be used as a table for supporting food, beverages and other items.

Abstract: A combined portable, collapsible, picnic table. The picnic table includes two similar table top portions hinged together for movement from a co-planar relationship in which they provide the normal table top, to a folded relationship in which the undersides of the portions lie parallel and spaced apart to provide a storage space. The portions each have one rectangular support, which may be hingedly attached so as to be foldable against the undersides of the table top portions and fit within the space between these portions when folded. These rectangular supports allow the table top to be supported horizontally at a relatively low height. An additional support having four legs which can be releasably attached to the underside of the table is provided, the additional support supporting the top portion at a height substantially higher than the rectangular support.

Abstract: A cargo management and restraining apparatus for use in a cargo area of a vehicle, which is also removable from the vehicle and useable as a free standing support surface such as a table. The apparatus includes a base and a pair of pivotably mounted end walls. The base fits within a recess formed within a floor of a cargo area of a vehicle. Cargo may be placed on the base and the end walls help to keep the cargo from moving or shifting during use of the vehicle. The end walls may be folded down against the base when the apparatus is not needed so as not to interfere with the placement of large cargo items in the cargo area. The apparatus can be completely removed from the vehicle and used as a free standing support surface such as a table. A plurality of wheels are included in one preferred embodiment to enable the apparatus to be used as a cart to move cumbersome or heavy items such as a thermal cooler.

Abstract: This invention is a special trolley system that attaches to a case or other object needing mobility. The trolley has the capability of having legs integrated into the mechanism, which, when unfolded, allow the case to function as a table. This functionality is particularly useful for applications where technology is being deployed to areas without existing infrastructure, such as telemedicine, military, etc.

Abstract: My invention is a Student Traveling Kit. The kit is made up of a sturdy carrying case, divided into special compartments and including a lightweight plastic desk top. The kit is also decorated so it can be easily identified.

Abstract: A media holder mouse pad having an upper half casing and a bottom half casing that when sandwiched together forms a storage compartment therebetween for storing 3.5 inch floppy diskettes, CDs, DVDs, mini DVDs, and the like. In the diskettes/disk storage mode, the casing can be but not limited to triangular, rectangular, and polygonal shapes and can easily be placed in the mail and/or stored similar to traditional diskette/disc cases. The upper half casing and the bottom half casing can be completely separated and has connectors on their respective sides for allowing each half to be attached in a side by side arrangement so that it can be used as a work surface for supporting mouse pads, and the like. The arrangement is expandable so that other casing halves can be attached side by side so that a larger workplace surface can be formed for supporting other objects such as laptop computers and the like.

Abstract: An improved portable cooler includes a cooler body (10) provided with wheels (36) and a pivoted towing handle (16) provided with two grips (140, 142) to allow use of the cooler by persons of both tall and short stature. The cooler cover (12) is provided with a recess (44) and a closure panel (58) for storage of items within the cooler but above melting ice or relatively heavy items that might crush items contained in the cooler. A table assembly (14) is operable independently of the lid (12) allowing the table (14) to be deployed on a leg (78) with the cooler lid (12) in a closed position, as well as to allow access to the interior cavity (28) of the cooler without clearing the table (14). Retractable bungee cords (108) for securing items to the cooler are provided.

Abstract: A picnic box which can be assembled, then reassembled into a picnic table is disclosed. The picnic box and table comprises: a frame having four corner posts rigidly spaced and permanently held parallel to each other by four rails, each rail extending only between bottom end portions of adjacent corner posts, and two opposite rails having an inwardly extending abutment; two opposite box long side portions removably positioned between corner posts on opposite sides of the frame, and along and above the rails extending therebetween; two opposite box short side portions removably positioned between corner posts on opposite ends of the frame, and along and above the rails extending therebetween; and, a box bottom side portion removably positioned within and above the abutment on the two opposite side rails.

Abstract: A shelving system features two spaced apart pairs of support rods deployed roughly vertically with a number of shelf assemblies supported thereby. Each shelf assembly is constructed from an open ended, molded polymer shelf having two openings in the upper surface adjacent to each of the open ends, and two suspension inserts engageable within the open ends. Each suspension insert has a pair of vertical bores, aligned with the openings when assembled, which are configured for forming suspension joints with the support rods. Since the precision vertical bores are contained within the separate suspension inserts, the main body of the shelf can be molded by techniques employing primarily longitudinal movement of mold parts, i.e., along the longest dimension of the shelves. In a preferred embodiment, each shelf is formed with support elements of closed cross-section extending along most or all of its length. Also disclosed is a snap-on drawer assembly for attachment to the underside of one of the shelves.

Abstract: A combination tray and wheeled cart (10) has three positions: an initial storage position with minimum space requirements; an intermediate carrying position configured as a conventional tray provided with an overhead handle for carrying to a job site, and a third erected operational position for mobile use on the job site. The combination tray and wheeled cart (10) is relatively lightweight, yet sturdy, and may be moved from one position into another position quickly and easily. Respective pairs of legs (20, 21) are pivotably mounted to the sides (12, 13) of a tray (11); and balls or casters (25) are provided on the ends of the individual legs (17). A shelf (27) is pivotably carried by one (21) pair of legs (17) and is releasably secured to the other (20) pair of legs (17), thereby structurally bracing the combination tray and wheeled cart (10) in its erected operational position. A variety of insert trays (39-44) adapt the combination tray and wheeled cart (10) for particular purposes.

Abstract: A laptop, transportable play table having a top, playing surface which is compatible with the interlocking building blocks made by several children's toy manufacturers and folding legs which form the storage container for the building blocks when they are not being played with. The apparatus forms a stable playing table for use in situations and locations in which a child might not otherwise be able to play with such building blocks while also providing storage for the building blocks when they are not being played with, all in one apparatus which is sturdy and easily transportable.

Abstract: A mobile work station for a painter or the like includes a frame and further includes a tray to hold paint containers (such as a paint pan) as well as tools, accessories and the painter's personal items. The tray may be segmented or divided into compartments for the paint pan and various articles. Legs are pivotally mounted on the frame for ease of storage and transport, and the legs have stored and depending positions, respectively. A removable cover is provided for the tray; and the cover may be disposed between the legs to further support the legs and to serve as a shelf during use of the mobile work station.

Abstract: The apparatus sets forth a tray organization that is usable wherein first and second rigid base members are hingedly mounted relative to one another with plural pairs of apertures mounted on each top surface of each base plate to receive plural pairs of support rods wherein the support rods are joined at their upper ends by a spanning U-shaped cap member. The rods and cap members are separable and are receivable within recesses formed within each base plate to secure the rods and cap members within the base plates during periods of non-use during transport and storage of the organization.

Abstract: A complete container includes a container frame, plus one or more modular insert structures which are removably attached to the frame to serve either as shelves, or as wall sections, as may be selected in a particular instance. The container frame includes a vertical rear wall and a pair of vertical side walls which are perpendicular to the rear wall. Each modular insert is of rectangular configuration and of such a length as to fit between the side walls of the container frame. The modular insert may be placed in a vertical plane between the front edges of the side walls in which case it serves as a wall section; or it may be placed in a horizontal plane between the side walls, in which event it acts as a shelf.Each modular insert is removably attached at its ends to the respective side walls. The attachment means are arranged in such a way as to be conveniently operated by hand, whenever the modular structure is to be inserted between the side walls or removed from them.

Abstract: An assembly adapted for transport on a vehicle may be transformed into furniture; the furniture includes at least a table, and a bench. The assembly consists of a frame, including a plurality of tubular elements which may be assembled one to another, to form carrying elements of the table and the bench of the furniture, and of a transport case, including a cover member therefor doubling as a table top of the table, and first and second groups of plates forming a floor member of the case; the first group of plates double as a backrest of the bench, and the second group of plates double as a sitting portion of the bench.
