Abstract: An extendable table assembly includes a primary board, a support unit mounted on the primary board, a foldable primary stand pivotally connected with the support unit, an extension unit arranged under the primary board and connected with the support unit, a secondary board placed on the extension unit, and a connecting unit mounted between the support unit and the extension unit. The extension unit includes a strut, an enclosure frame connected with the strut and the support unit, and a foldable secondary stand movable with the extension unit. The secondary stand includes two legs pivotally connected with the enclosure frame and a V-shaped brace mounted between the two legs and the strut. The two legs cooperate with the primary stand to support the primary board.

Abstract: A foldable stand for supporting a machine can be folded or extended between a collapsed position, an extended supporting position, and a hand carrying position. The foldable stand includes a platform formed by two bearing bars that define a bearing surface for supporting a machine. Two support units are pivotally connected to the bearing bars and can be pivoted, and selectively locked, between a collapsed position, an extended supporting position, and a hand carrying position. The selective locking is achieved by the selective engagement of positioning devices with locating grooves formed on the foldable stand.

A first desktop support subunit, a second desktop support subunit, and a privacy panel are each pivotally connected to the same major surface of the desktop. The first desktop support subunit pivots on a first pivot axis that is proximate and substantially parallel the first minor side edge. The second desktop support subunit pivots on a second pivot axis that is proximate and substantially parallel the second minor side edge. The privacy panel is pivotally connected to the desktop at a location proximate to the second major side edge. The first pivot axis is a greater distance from the desktop than the second pivot axis, allowing the folding desk to assume a relatively compact folded configuration.

The leg passes through a channel in a cap held via a spring and pin to a base affixed to the work surface. The leg's angular position is adjusted by rotating the cap, which moves a tooth through a series of mating depressions. The longitudinal position is adjusted by moving the leg which has a series of notches that mate with a locking tooth in the cap. A knob interfaces with the cap via a rotary cam having high and low steps and a matching cam rider. The low step allows separation between the cap and base and the high step locks the cap to the base, thereby locking in the adjustment setting for the leg.

In addition, the table may include components that expand and/or contract in different fashions in response to changes in temperature. Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a technique to improve usability of a workbench for a power tool. To achieve the object, a representative workbench for a power tool is provided with a table, first and second supports, a shaft, a handle body, a handle, a lock mechanism and a lock release member. The lock release member includes an elongated element disposed below the upper surface of the table and extending along the table toward the handle, and the lock of the table is released when the user pulls the elongated element in the longitudinal direction of the elongated element. According to the invention, the user can release the lock of the table simply by pulling the elongated element, so that ease of lock releasing operation is enhanced.

A hardened foam body is joined to the top and bottom table elements and is formed around the support member in sufficient volume to support the support member within the table top member. A lightweight core element is positioned within the table top member joined to the hardened foam body. The table advantageously requires few parts and is economical to manufacture yet is sturdy and easily transported.
