Abstract: A folding table assembly having both a tabletop and legs that fold into smaller sizes. The tabletop has a main panel, a first side flap panel, and a second side flap panel. The side flap panels are joined to the main panel with hinge connections. The hinge connections enable the side flap panels to rotate from open positions that are coplanar with the main panel to folded positions that are under the main panel. The folding legs are coupled to the side flap panels. The folding legs can move between extended positions, where the legs support the tabletop, and retracted positions, where the legs are folded flush against the side flap panels. The base includes a first and a second section. The base, which is for resting on the rear seat, has a front and a rear portion opposing the front portion. The rear legs extend from the rear portion of the sections of the base for supporting the base on the rear seat of the vehicle. A section hinge pivotally connects the first section and the second for folding the first section relative to the second section at the section hinge. A pair of front legs and a pair of rear legs are adapted to extend from the front portion of the sections of the base to support the base on a floor of the vehicle.

Abstract: A support stand for a barbecue stove includes two table members, a plurality of support feet and at least one leg brace assembly pivotally connecting the table members to the support feet. Each leg brace assembly has a hinge, an actuating device and a driving device and connects the table members to the support feet. A user can operate the leg brace assembly to detach the driving device from the actuating device and can hold handles of the table members to set the table members upright so that the driving device can move downward quickly and the support stand will be collapsible quickly. The table members further include a plurality of receptacles formed thereon and adapted for receiving the feet of the barbecue stove so that the barbecue stove can be disposed on the table members stably.

Abstract: A table may include a table top with first and second sections that are connected by a hinge to allow the section to move between a folded position and an unfolded position. The table may also include legs that are movable between a use position and a storage position relative to the table top. The hinge may facilitate folding of the table top when the legs are in the storage position. On the other hand, the hinge may resist folding of the table top when the legs are in the extended position. In addition, the table may include components that expand and/or contract in different fashions in response to changes in temperature. For example, the table top and the frame may be constructed from different materials with different coefficients of expansion in response to temperature changes. The table is preferably sized and configured to accommodate these differences in expansion and contraction.

  • Patent number: 7707948
Abstract: A collapsible table has a blow-molded tabletop comprising two table top halves. Each tabletop half has a substantially planar top surface, a bottom surface opposite the top surface, an inner edge, and an opposing outer edge which is substantially parallel to the inner edge. A hinge assembly pivotally connects the two tabletop halves along their inner edges, allowing the two tabletop halves to be folded together into a storage position. Four collapsible legs are attached to the bottom surface of the tabletop halves. Each collapsible leg is operable to collapse independently of any of the other legs. A first pair of the legs collapse to positions which are substantially parallel to the outer edges of the tabletop halves, and a second pair of the legs collapse to positions which are substantially diagonal to the outer edges of the tabletop halves.

Abstract: A collapsible infeed/outfeed table is provided with a pair of collapsible wings that are supported by struts slidably attached to the wings and pivotally attached to two pairs of elongated support legs. A pair of vertical stanchions provide a pivot point for the wings and lower ends thereof support a pair of sliding braces also connected to the extensible legs. A central roller is provided between the two wings that telescopes between an extended and a retracted position. Extensible rollers are provided at free ends of the wings such that, when extended, the table may serve as a crosscut saw support stand. With the wings retracted and the central roller raised, the table may serve as an infeed/outfeed roller support for a separate saw, such as a crosscut saw or table saw. Finally, with all of the rollers retracted and the wings extended, the table is a work table.

  • Patent number: 7199883
Abstract: A system determines the position of a vehicle moving responsive to an inverter having a 360 degree electrical cycle. The system includes a guideway comprising a linear synchronous motor excited by the inverter, a MAGLEV adapted to move with respect to the guideway and the linear synchronous motor, and a reflective pattern disposed along the guideway. A laser light source is coupled to the MAGLEV and directs light toward the pattern. A light sensor is coupled to the MAGLEV and senses the light from the light source which is reflected from the pattern. The light sensor outputs a plurality of pulses corresponding to movement of the MAGLEV with respect to the pattern. A modulator, radio transmitter, radio receiver, demodulator and wayside processor cooperate with the light sensor. The processor determines the position of the MAGLEV by accumulating the pulses. The position corresponds to the 360 degree electrical cycle.
