Abstract: A portable collapsible writing desk for a notebook computer preferably includes an arm rest assembly, a desktop assembly, a column assembly and a base assembly. The base assembly is attached to a bottom of the column assembly. The arm rest assembly is attached to a top of the column assembly. The desktop assembly is moveably retained by the arm rest assembly. The collapsible writing desk may rest on the base assembly, or rest on an end of the desktop assembly and an edge of the column assembly. A retractable handle may be extended to carry the portable collapsible writing desk for a notebook computer like a suitcase.

The frame comprises: a base; a first fixing post; a second fixing post; a sliding frame; at least one table surface; wherein the first fixing post and the second fixing post are respectively fixed on both ends of the base; a first guide rail and a second guide rail are provided on the first fixing post and the second fixing post respectively and opposite to each other, the sliding frame is provided between the first guide rail and the second guide rail and adapted to slide up and down along the first guide rail and the second guide rail; the table surface is horizontally connected to a side of the sliding frame and adapted to be rotated in a vertical plane around a joint between the table surface and the sliding frame, the table surface is adapted to be horizontally positioned.

Abstract: An apparatus includes an extendable tray that can be moved into a retracted position and an extended position away from a recess surface, and a cover with a surface positioned in conjunction with the extendable tray so as to bridge a gap between the recess surface and the tray when the tray is in the extended position to provide a uniform appearance. Also included is a latch apparatus that includes a latch arm that engages a stop to limit horizontal translation of the tray past an extended position, a handle that, when depressed, disengages the latch arm, enabling removal of the tray past the extended position, a pivot that provides a rotational axis by which the handle is attached to the tray, and a spring arm that controls a pivot angle of the handle, ensuring that latch arm engages the stop. A refrigerator incorporating the structures is also disclosed.

Abstract: An aircraft table system includes a table member configured to move reversibly from an undeployed position to a deployed position, coupled to a movable sled member. The system may further include one or more rollers in conjunction with one or more guide rails to facilitate the motion of the sled member. The system may further include a spine member with one or more holes in conjunction with one or more bolts and one or more cables to hold the sled and table members in place. The system may further include a spine member in conjunction with one or more spring reel elements and one or more cables to impart an assisting or resisting force on the sled member.

Abstract: A folding table and support frame assembly is disclosed. The table comprises two planar portions connected by a hinging member. One of the planar portions is coupled to a support frame such that the folded table can be moved into a stowed position within the support frame assembly. The planar portions comprise a proximal portion or inner member and a distal portion or outer member. The proximal portion and distal portion are connected to one another by the hinging member or middle member. The hinging member enables the rotation of the distal portion into a folded relationship upon the proximal portion. When the two planar portions are folded, they provide a smaller table surface in a half-open or partially extended position. When the two planar portions are opened along the hinging member, the planar portions and the hinging member provide a larger contiguous table in the fully extended position.

Abstract: A stowable table assembly (10) includes a frame (14) having first and second side rails (16 and 18), wherein the frame (14) is selectively translatable between at least a stowed position and an extended position. Abstract: A table assembly which permits a table top to have a first use position and a second stored position is disclosed. In the first position the table top may serve as a conference table, desk, dining table or the like and in the second position be positioned essentially parallel with an upright wall of a room in which it is installed. The storage unit may also be a furniture piece comprising a variety of optional features. In one embodiment, a storage unit furniture piece comprises a deeper cabinet structure that may be fitted with, for example shelves for books and the like or a bar for hanging clothing. Generally, the table assembly is secured to a wall of a room or installed between the studs which frame the wall of a room. The table assembly may have its own upright wall.

Abstract: A pivotable table has a lower housing and a table top which can be moved from a storage position, in which the table top is arranged substantially perpendicularly in the lower housing, into a use position, in which the table top is arranged substantially horizontally above the lower housing and is carried by the lower housing. The table includes at least one carrying arm that has an end region which is connected pivotably to the table top and a remote end region which is connected to the lower housing via a carrying arm guide. Abstract: Relocatable personal and/or pet safety shelters for protecting occupants from dangerous conditions such as those from hurricanes and tornadoes. The shelters can include metal wall and ceiling panels of approximately 10 gage to approximately 12 gage thick and be able to withstand winds of up to approximately 250 miles per hour or greater, and be able to withstand a projectile such as 2 inch by 4 inch wood member shot at approximately 100 miles per hour from penetrating inside. The shelter can have a length of approximately 60 inches, a width of approximately 30 inches, a height of approximately 55 inches, with a total weight of up to approximately 940 pounds. The shelter can have fixed bench seats along opposite sides of the door from each other, and be attached in a fixed horizontal orientation above the floor by elongated L-shaped brackets that are attached to the walls be removable fasteners.

The console component has an interior compartment in which the table top (9) may be displaced in a guide (1) between the lowered initial position and a ready position when extracted from the upper end of the console component along the plane of the table top. At the upper end of the guide (1), a bearing configuration (19, 21, 25, 27) functions as support of the table top (9) and permits pivoting of the table top (9) from the ready position into the horizontal use position.

Abstract: A portable device and method for supporting a load in a cantilevered disposition relative to a shelf, cabinet, or other extant structure is provided, which device is foldable into a relatively compact entity when not in use. The device includes at least a platform portion 01, a bracing portion 02, and a pivotably attached hanging bracket 03, and can be configured to support such a load in a horizontal or inclined position at a near or relatively distant horizontal or vertical relationship to the extant structure. The device may be independent, attached to, or integrally manufactured with the load.

Abstract: A bench slide mount is provided, comprising a flat rectangular plate with roller slides connected to its sides, and two hinges connecting the plate to an L-shaped bench mount bracket. The bench slide mount has particular utility in connection with coupling tools to a workbench for operational use of the tools, with a unique capability to extend, pivot, and rotate for storing the tools below the workbench.

Abstract: A keyboard support apparatus comprises a storage compartment adapted to be mounted to the undersurface of an overhead cabinet, a low ceiling, and the like. The keyboard support apparatus further comprises at least one extendable support arm pivotally coupled at one end to the storage compartment, and a keyboard platform pivotally coupled at opposite sides to the other end of the support arms. Each support arm is adapted to extend downwardly from the storage compartment to position the keyboard platform below the storage compartment in an operational configuration. Each support arm is also adapted to contract upwardly to position the keyboard platform inside the storage compartment in a storage configuration.

Abstract: A transportable living quarters configured for maximum comfort and spaciousness, with a relatively small footprint. A unique sofa/bed arrangement is contemplated, wherein first and second, facing fold-out sofas are provided which are convertible to a single bed, which may be full size or larger. One of the sofas further provides a mechanism to manipulate, via bracketed supports, the sofa back to form a long counter area, which, in the preferred embodiment of the invention, is situated adjacent to the kitchen counter and thereby extends same. The present invention further contemplates a dining/work table which is configured to be stored along the ceiling of the unit, in a relatively hidden capacity, and easily deployed between the first and second sofas when needed, providing a relatively large, stable work surface.

The ironing board (2) may be replaced with a differently shaped ironing surface, or removed from the piece of furniture and the enclosure (3) used to house a drawer.

A pull-out platform for the machine is supported in the chamber for motion inwardly and outwardly of the front thereof and defines a generally horizontal working surface. A plate member has two opposed end edges and two opposed side edges. One of the end edges of the plate member is disposed between the struts. Each of the side edges of the plate member has a positioning projection extending into an adjacent one of the guiding grooves. A rectangular rear panel forms the back side of the cabinet and is inserted into the depth of the opening in the wall. Abstract: A storable table utilizes a sliding T-shaped block member disposed within an elongated T-shaped passageway located within an elongated supporting member. An L-shaped bracket has one leg secured to the block slideably engaged within the passageway. The other end of the L-shaped block is fitted with a plurality of pin receiving receptacles, disposed outwardly from a shaft secured in the lowermost regions, adjacent the pin receiving receptacles and radially therewithin. A table has a lock secured to an undersurface thereof, such block supporting at least one pin extending outwardly and disposed having its axis parallel to the axis of the rod. Spring means are provided for engaging the pin within the pin-receiving receptacle, such that the table is disposed in any plane desired.
