Abstract: A modular platform for configuring gutter guard systems is disclosed and claimed herein. Such gutter guard systems are designed and arranged to be positioned across the opening of a rain gutter to prevent debris from entering the rain gutter. The modular platform includes a number of interchangeable components. Select interchangeable components can be assembled to form a gutter guard system for use with a specific rain gutter based on the rain gutter's style, size, color, and the mechanism used to secure the rain gutter to a structure and/or roofline. In one embodiment, the components of a modular platform for configuring gutter guard systems include a number of main bodies, a number of front receivers, a number of rear receivers, a number of screens, a number of clips, and a number of brackets.

Abstract: A portable electronic device support assembly for a vehicle comprises a housing for placement, a link arm slidably coupled to the housing at a first end of the link arm, and a device support configured to receive a portable electronic device and rotatably coupled to the link arm at a second end of the link arm. The link arm and device support are movable between stowed and deployed positions. A latching mechanism configured to resist movement of the link arm in the deployed position, the latching mechanism comprising a latch movably coupled to the link arm. The latch is resiliently biased such that the latch engages a recess in the housing when the link arm is in the deployed position. An interaction between the device support and the latching mechanism retracts the latch from the recess as the device support rotates relative to the link arm when moving towards the stowed position.

Abstract: A multipurpose dashboard for use in a vehicle includes an instrument panel disposed within the vehicle. The multipurpose dashboard also includes driving controls mounted to the instrument panel. The driving controls are configurable into a driving position for a user driving mode and configurable into a non-driving position for a non-driving mode. The non-driving position is disposed away from the driving position. The multipurpose dashboard also includes a workstation mounted to the instrument panel. The workstation is configurable into an accessible position during the non-driving mode and configurable into a stowed position during the user driving mode.

Abstract: In one embodiment of a bracket for use with a gutter guard system, the bracket includes a first wall; a second wall arranged generally parallel and spaced apart from the first wall; a slot at least partially defined by the first wall and the second wall; and a third wall. The third wall includes a first portion extending from a first end of the second wall at an approximately fifty-five degree angle relative to the second wall; a second portion extending at an approximately one hundred twenty-one degree angle relative to the first portion; and a third portion extending at an approximately one hundred fifty degree angle relative to the second portion. A fourth wall connecting a first end of the first wall and the second wall can further define the slot. The slot is arranged to removably secure the bracket to a rear receiver of the gutter guard system.

Abstract: A portable, tray and carrying case apparatus is disclosed. In an embodiment, the apparatus includes a tray adapted for being placed in at least a working position and a stowed position; a carrying case for storing or stowing the tray when not in use; a support arm secured to the carrying case and adapted for being placed in an elevated position whereby the tray may be placed in the working position; a support arm locking mechanism for locking the support arm in the elevated position relative to the carrying case; and a tray locking and support bracket assembly for locking the tray in the working position relative to the support arm and for providing support to the tray when the tray is in the working position and being used by a user. The portable, tray and carrying case apparatus may further include a handle and/or an apparatus stabilizing structure.

Abstract: A main body for use as an interchangeable component with a modular platform for a gutter guard system is disclosed herein. The main body includes a front edge, a rear edge, a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of water management features. The rear edge is generally parallel to and spaced apart from the front edge. The top surface and bottom surface are disposed between the front edge and the rear edge, and the top surface and bottom surface are positioned opposite to each other. In one embodiment, the water management features include a plurality of apertures that form passages through the top and bottom surfaces of the main body.

Abstract: Interior trim assemblies for motor vehicles are provided. In one example, an interior trim assembly for a vehicle interior of a motor vehicle includes an interior trim panel. The interior trim panel has a first outer surface for facing the vehicle interior and a second outer surface on a side opposite the first outer surface. The interior trim panel has an opening formed therethrough. A deployable support sub-assembly is coupled to the interior trim panel. The deployable support sub-assembly includes a support layer and a first moveable arm that is configured to move the support layer from a stowed position adjacent to the second outer surface of the interior trim panel through the opening to a deployed position adjacent to the first outer surface of the interior trim panel.

Abstract: An example system for mitigating motion sickness within a vehicle is provided. The system includes a motion sickness mitigation device (MSMD) integrated into the vehicle and configured to generate electrical stimulation pulses upon actuation. The system also includes a controller operatively connected to the MSMD. The controller is configured to: obtain signals indicative of a potential motion sickness condition; determine whether a motion sickness conditions exists based on the signals; and, in response to determining that a motion sickness condition exists, actuate the MSMD.

Abstract: Described are tray table assemblies having a table body (114) and a biasing mechanism (144). The table body can be movable between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration. The table body in the stowed configuration can be positioned so that at least a portion of the table body can be situated within a cavity (142) defined along a downwardly projecting lip (140). The table body in the deployed configuration can extend transverse to the orientation of the table in the stowed configuration. The biasing mechanism can bias the table body into the cavity in the stowed configuration.

The stand garment steamer (1) has a base unit (2), a support (19) extending from the base unit (2), and a treatment board (14) with a treatment surface (17) against which fabric is positionable. The treatment board (14) is supported and spaced from the base unit (2) by the support (19). A tilting mechanism (20) connects the support (19) to the treatment board (14), the tilting mechanism (20) being operable to allow the treatment board (14) to be fixed in multiple operating orientations between vertical and horizontal positions. A reversible generator is in the base unit (2), and at least one vent (18) is in the treatment surface (17) through which air and/or steam from the reversible generator is passable. A fluid pathway (47) fluidly connects the reversible generator and the at least one vent (18) irrespective of the operating orientation of the treatment board. This stand garment steamer improves ironing experience of users.

Abstract: A supporting device for an interior layout assembly of an aircraft cabin, a related assembly and method are provided. The device includes a stationary frame; a table that can be deployed relative to the frame between a retracted position and a horizontal deployed position; a mechanism for guiding the movement of the table relative to the frame between the retracted position and the deployed horizontal position. The guide mechanism defines at least one bearing point for the table during its passage from the retracted position to the deployed horizontal position, the bearing point having a globally invariable position relative to the frame, the table being configured to pivot on the bearing point while moving laterally away relative to the bearing point, by sliding on the bearing point, to the deployed position.

Abstract: The present invention provides a table arrangement 100 for use in an aircraft seat module, the table arrangement comprising a first table element suitable for being movably mounted to a mounting structure of the aircraft seat module, the first table element being provided with a first table surface, a second table element provided with a second table surface substantially parallel to the first table surface, wherein the second table element is mounted to the first table element, such that the second table element is moveable from a first position with respect to the first table element to a second position with respect to the first table element, the second position being transformed from the first position within the plane of the second table element. The present invention also provides an aircraft seat module, an aircraft and a method of deploying a table arrangement.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are foldable tables and methods for using the same. The foldable table can include at least one support member having a first and a second elongate support segments. The first support segment can be attachable to a platform. The second support segment can be slidably coupled to the first support segment along an elongate direction. The support member can be extendable between a contracted configuration and an extended configuration. In one example, at least one adjustable leg can be coupled to the support member and can be movable between a storage position and a support position. In one example, the foldable table includes a plurality of hingedly coupled tabletop panels. The first and second tabletop panels can be movable between a folded configuration and a deployed configuration.

The removable character of the removable extension in particular allows the system to be deployed by passing around possible obstacles by an appropriate conformation of at least one edge of the abovementioned assembly.

The top assembly can include a work surface supported by a housing. A counterbalance mechanism, which can include a spring coupled to a snail cam pulley, can be mounted within the housing. A synchronized lift mechanism, which can include at least two bands operatively engaged with a pulley system disposed within the right and left telescoping leg assemblies, can be operatively coupled to the snail cam pulley such that the counterbalance force provided by the counterbalance mechanism is transmitted to the synchronized lift mechanism.

Abstract: Stacking distribution transformers for shipping and storage includes providing a first pallet on top of which a first distribution transformer is attached and a second pallet on top of which a second distribution transformer is attached. Two side supports are attached to opposite sides of the second distribution transformer such that upper support surfaces of the two side supports extend above an upper surface of the second distribution transformer. The first pallet is placed on the side supports above the second distribution transformer, and the first pallet is secured to the side supports. A center support may be attached to the first pallet and to the second pallet on a side of the second distribution transformer different from the sides of the second distribution transformer to which the side supports support are attached.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a safety workbench having a working chamber enclosed by a housing and a housing front side, which has a work opening, which is closable by an adjustable front pane, the front pane having at least one additional cleaning position, in which it is situated at least partially below a closed final position, in which the work opening is completely covered, in such a way that a cleaning opening is formed between pane top edge and housing. The front pane is easier and safer to clean than the previously known safety workbenches due to this additionally provided cleaning position.

Abstract: The disposable utensil rest includes a base plate having an upper surface and a lower surface, and a raised peripheral rim formed on the upper surface of the base plate. In use, the head of a cooking utensil may be positioned against the upper surface of the base plate with a handle portion of the cooking utensil being supported on the raised peripheral rim to protect a surface upon which the disposable utensil rest is mounted. The base plate and the raised peripheral rim are formed from a disposable material, allowing the disposable utensil rest to be disposed of after use. A dispenser dispensing a utensil rest from a stack of disposable utensil rests may be provided.

Abstract: A modular multi-stack fuel-cell assembly in which the fuel-cell stacks are situated within a containment structure and in which a gas distributor is provided in the structure and distributes received fuel and oxidant gases to the stacks and receives exhausted fuel and oxidant gas from the stacks so as to realize a desired gas flow distribution and gas pressure differential through the stacks. The gas distributor is centrally and symmetrically arranged relative to the stacks so that it itself promotes realization of the desired gas flow distribution and pressure differential.

A top shelf may extend across both the pivotable and stationary walls and include apertures positioned behind the plane defined by the two walls so that wires can be inserted through the apertures to the space behind the walls.

The first work surface having a table lip extending upward around the perimeter of the table while the trundle table assembly work surface does not have a lip on either end. The trundle table assembly providing a second and lower work surface so that caregivers can avoid lifting heavier children or children in wheelchairs to the height necessary to clear the table lip around the first work surface. One use for the table with trundle table assembly is a diaper changing table.

The table member can have a retaining member mounted on the flat plate for engaging the housing to retain the table member in the extended position.

Abstract: A pivotable work table for use with an electrical junction box is disclosed. The work table has a table member which is pivotally movable between a retracted position within the junction box and an extended position in which the table is oriented perpendicular to the box. The table member is hingedly connected to one or more retention pins which extend from the table member and slidably engage one or more respective bosses attached to the junction box. Coil springs coaxially disposed around the retention pins provide biasing forces which draw the table member toward the bosses and maintain the table member in either the retracted or extended positions.

Abstract: A portable cooler includes an open-topped container having a cover and wherein the cover defines a hollow cavity therein for removably receiving and holding a table within the cavity. The table is provided with folding legs at one end, and the other table end is configured to be matingly received and supported by either one of two handles of the cooler.

Abstract: An ironing board for mounting to a structure, such as a wall or door, and which is pivotally attached to a frame. The ironing board pivots between a vertical position when stored and a horizontal position when in use. The mounting frame is configured as an inverted, U-shaped structure with vertically oriented legs positioned on opposite sides of the ironing board. The ironing board can be vertically displaced while in its horizontal position, so as to permit the easy placement and removal of an ironing board cover. The frame is mounted to a door or wall through a bracket which has protruding members formed thereon designed to engage with corresponding slotted keyways in the mounting frame. Vertical adjustment of the frame is achieved by engaging appropriate slotted keyways with the protruding members. In one embodiment of the invention, the bracket has a hook portion formed thereon which extends over the top of a door for supporting the mounting frame therefrom.
