Abstract: An exemplary implementation of an aircraft interior table includes a base unit which includes a storage compartment having laterally projecting ends. A bi-fold table comprised of a table panels is horizontally stowed and supported on the upper surface of the base unit. Thus, in a stowed condition, one of the table panels is folded so as to be sandwiched between the other of the table panels and the upper surface of the base unit. The edge of the other table panel opposite to its hinged edge adjoining both table panels is pivotally connected to the base unit by means of a primary hinge. In use, the table panels may be rotated as a unit about the primary hinge so as to achieve an intermediate fold-out condition. While in such a position, the table will present itself half-sized so as to provide the associated aircraft seat occupant with minimal forward obstruction.

Abstract: A shelf assembly is for carrying goods on a rear seat of a vehicle. The shelf assembly includes a base, a pair of front legs, and a pair rear legs. The base includes a first and a second section. The base, which is for resting on the rear seat, has a front and a rear portion opposing the front portion. The rear legs extend from the rear portion of the sections of the base for supporting the base on the rear seat of the vehicle. A section hinge pivotally connects the first section and the second for folding the first section relative to the second section at the section hinge. A pair of front legs and a pair of rear legs are adapted to extend from the front portion of the sections of the base to support the base on a floor of the vehicle.

Abstract: A folding table and support frame assembly is disclosed. The table comprises two planar portions connected by a hinging member. One of the planar portions is coupled to a support frame such that the folded table can be moved into a stowed position within the support frame assembly. The planar portions comprise a proximal portion or inner member and a distal portion or outer member. The proximal portion and distal portion are connected to one another by the hinging member or middle member. The hinging member enables the rotation of the distal portion into a folded relationship upon the proximal portion. When the two planar portions are folded, they provide a smaller table surface in a half-open or partially extended position. When the two planar portions are opened along the hinging member, the planar portions and the hinging member provide a larger contiguous table in the fully extended position.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of vehicles having table assemblies. One embodiment of a vehicle comprises a vehicle body structure, a support member, and a table member. The vehicle body structure defines at least a portion of a compartment and has an opening permitting access to the compartment. The support member is coupled to the vehicle body structure to move from an interior position in which the support member is substantially inboard of the compartment, to an exterior position in which at least a portion of the support member moves through the opening to a location outboard of the vehicle body structure. The table member is coupled to the support member to move from a first position in which the table member is located inboard of the vehicle body structure, to a second position in which the table member is located outboard of the vehicle body structure.

Abstract: A folding table is provided for a vehicle. The folding table includes, but is not limited to a tabletop that can be fastened to a vehicle seat so that it can be pivoted from a pivoted-in non-usage position into a pivoted-out usage position. At substantially the same time, at least one connection point is provided at which accessory parts can be detachably fastened.

Abstract: A portable table apparatus which can be releaseably attached to a vehicle is disclosed. The portable table assembly comprises a horizontal assembly having a tubular member and a second member, wherein the second member is slidingly and rotatably disposed within the tubular member, and a fixturing means capable of releaseably attaching the second member to the tubular member. The portable table assembly further comprises a tubular vertical assembly attached to the second member and a table that can be releaseably attached to the vertical assembly, wherein by rotating the second member within the tubular member the vertical assembly is rotated with respect to the horizontal assembly and wherein the top surface of the table can be placed in a gravitationally level orientation by rotating the second member within the first member. The portable table assembly further comprises a shield assembly that can be releaseably attached to the table.

Abstract: A work surface/storage system can be attached to a motor vehicle which has a passenger compartment with a driver seat, a passenger seat, a passenger restraint belt, and a dash panel in front of the passenger seat. A main body section of the system includes at least one flat surface for providing a writing support for a person in the driver seat, at least one storage bin, and a bottom surface for positioning on the passenger seat. A belt receptacle is located at a rearward end of the main body for capturing the passenger restraint belt so that tension in the passenger restraint belt loads the rearward end against the passenger seat. A front wing section extends forward and upward from the main body section to a distal end. The distal end includes an attachment tab. A bay is provided in the dash panel including a holder for capturing the attachment tab.

Abstract: An electronic equipment console for a vehicle includes an equipment shelf supported by a bracket and defining a plane. A laptop rack is supported by the equipment shelf and is oriented relative to the defined plane thereof to be elevated, pitched upwardly and rearwardly, rotated, and tilted.

Abstract: An aircraft table system includes a table member, a sled member, and a spine member. The sled member moves reversibly on the spine member between a lower sled position and an upper sled position. The system further includes one or more spring elements coupled to the sled member. One or more cables may be coupled between the spine member and the spring elements such that the spring elements impart and/or maintain tension on the cables. The tension may be at least partially converted into an upward force imparted on the sled member.

Abstract: An aircraft table system includes a table member coupled to a sled member. When the table member is adjusted to a partially deployed position, movable bolts on the sled member are received by holes in a spine member such that the sled member and the coupled table member are supported by the spine member on the received bolts. Cables may be coupled between the bolts and the table member such that when the table member is adjusted from a deployed position to an undeployed position, the bolts are pulled from the corresponding holes in the spine member, freeing the sled member to move relative to the spine member.

Abstract: An aircraft table system includes a table member configured to move reversibly from an undeployed position to a deployed position, coupled to a movable sled member. The system may further include one or more rollers in conjunction with one or more guide rails to facilitate the motion of the sled member. The system may further include a spine member with one or more holes in conjunction with one or more bolts and one or more cables to hold the sled and table members in place. The system may further include a spine member in conjunction with one or more spring reel elements and one or more cables to impart an assisting or resisting force on the sled member.

The extendible living space may move from a retracted position in which it is substantially integrated within or in close proximity to a primary living space of the vehicle, to an extended position in which it provides an open-air porch or balcony accessible from the primary living space. The extendible living space may be extended from any wall of the vehicle, such as a side wall or rear wall, and may be particularly well suited for use in motorized recreational vehicles.

Abstract: A vehicle equipment rack and methods for removably holding equipment on a shelf that is removably and preferably releasably mounted within a vehicle. A hook bar assembly has a guide portion, and at least one sliding portion telescopically engaged with the guide portion. The hook bar assembly is attached to the shelf. Two end hooks are on distal longitudinally outward ends of the hook bar assembly, and each end hook is configured for hooking on a headrest post of the vehicle. The end hooks may have hooks that open forward, rearward, or outward and are biased with respect to each other. Preferably, a hook portion is releasably attached to the hook bar assembly for releasing in response to a laterally directed force.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a mountable recreation table that mounts on the rear of the vehicle while the vehicle is parked and the tailgate is open. The recreation table includes a table top and a table pole attached to the underside of the table top. A table mount attaches to the rear of the vehicle, and the mount includes a receiver for the table pole to be inserted into. The mount is secured to either a striker or a seat headrest in the rear of the vehicle. Advantageously, the recreation table of the present disclosure easily attaches to the rear of the vehicle. The recreation table can be utilized in combination with seats in the rear of the vehicle, and the present disclosure requires no modification to attach the table to the vehicle.

Abstract: A portable desk adapted for use in temporary work areas such as a seat in a vehicle includes a main body having a work surface member at a position spaced from a support surface, a first support member adapted to receive a laptop or portable computer mounted on the work surface member for access by the vehicle driver when the portable desk is mounted in the front passenger seat of the vehicle, and a second support member adapted to receive a computer peripheral device, such as a printer, also for access to by the vehicle driver. Preferably, the work surface member is at the top surface of the portable desk, and the first support member may be adjustably positioned between a first position adjacent a driver of the vehicle and a second position spaced away from the vehicle driver.

The tray assembly has a first tray that is movably attached to a support structure and a second tray that is pivotally attached to and extends from the first tray. The support structure has a bracket that supports the first tray in the extended generally horizontal position and can assist in holding the first tray in a generally vertical position when said first tray is placed in a stored-away position. The second tray has an upright position wherein it is generally coplanar with and semi-rigidly extends from the first tray. The second tray also has a breakaway position where it is not generally coplanar with the first tray.

Abstract: A drink holder assembly includes a drink holder which is mountable above a tray, such as an airline table tray mounted on the back of an airline chair. Typically, a support extends downwardly from the drink holder and a mounting mechanism connected to the support removably mounts the drink holder on the tray. A reading light is preferably mounted on the drink holder to provide light directed toward the tray. The assembly may include another light so that the assembly serves as a flashlight useful for emergency purposes. The assembly is collapsible to fit within a purse or briefcase. The drink holder may be spaced sufficiently above the tray to accommodate a laptop computer seated on the tray.

Abstract: An extendable railcar work platform includes one or more work platform sections each including a set of wheels, a locking mechanism associated with each wheel and a guide system. The system enables workers to safely work above an electrified third rail such as in a subway or railway tunnel. The platform may be in a first retracted position for transit or in a laterally extended or vertically extended position to enable a worker to access and work on a tunnel wall. The platform may be extended to both sides of the railcar and, if the platform includes more than one section, the individual sections may be simultaneously extended to opposite sides of the railcar. Each work platform section includes a floor or base and safety rails around all four sides of the section.

Abstract: The trailer hitch mount for an umbrella includes a square cross-section shaft that is adapted to slide into a standard sleeve-style trailer hitch receiver that is currently available on many vehicles. The shaft includes a series of holes along the sides thereof to receive a pin in order to secure the shaft to the trailer hitch receiver in a telescopic relationship. The series of holes allows the shaft length to be adjusted, so that the distance between the trailer hitch receiver and the opposed end of the shaft may be shortened or lengthened, as desired. The shaft includes two ends, one of which slides into the trailer hitch receiver, and the other end includes a hollow pivoting cylindrical tube that is used to receive the bottom end of an umbrella pole. The pivoting tube includes adjustment means, so that the pivoting tube may be tilted to a desired angle and secured in that position.

Abstract: The technology described herein provides an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) carrier assembly for loading and transporting multiple ATVs, motorcycles, and the like. A convertible, rotatable carrier assembly for loading and transporting multiple all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) includes a platform assembly upon which one or more ATV is loaded, the platform assembly being rotatable such that the one or more ATV is loaded selectively from one of a driver, passenger, and rear side of a vehicle and a trailer hitch receiver and a hitch tube disposed upon the trailer hitch receiver for connectivity with a vehicle having a rear hitch. The platform assembly is convertible and rotatable, enabling loading and transportation of multiple ATVs without the need for a trailer.

Abstract: This patent discloses a table assembly to provide leg support for a person and to hold articles and food in an automobile. The table assembly may include a headrest fastener, a tray, a footrest, and a leveler bar, each attached to a table housing. The table housing and tray may be adjusted vertically and the tray and footrest may be adjusted horizontally. The leveler bar may be rotated to position the tray and footrest in a horizontal alignment.

Abstract: The disclosure is for a vehicle steering wheel supported desk that provides a horizontal desk surface supported by a frame attached to a vehicular steering wheel regardless of the angle of the latter. It uses an infinitely variable angle adjuster to pivot the desk surface by rotating it about an axis connection to the frame attached to the vehicular steering wheel. The invention folds up compactly for storage when not in use and includes a handle and clamping means on the frame having a contoured radial configuration that matches the radius of the steering wheel to which the apparatus is attached, which includes rubber padded surfaces on the clamping means to both improve its grip of the steering wheel, and avoid damage to the steering wheel rim. The desk surface features a ribbed undersurface to make the desk surface both rigid and lightweight.

Abstract: A stowable table unit system for a motor vehicle comprises a table portion, a support leg portion, and a lifting mechanism. The table portion has a top surface and a bottom surface. The lifting mechanism connects to the table portion and positions the table portion between a stowed position and a deployed position. The support leg moves between a stored position within the bottom surface of the table portion when the table portion is in the stowed position and an extended position when the table portion is in the deployed position.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system and method for connecting attachments to a vehicle, which generally includes a first piece and a second piece depending thereon. The first piece is a locator piece connected to the vehicle adjacent the license plate or the trunk of a vehicle. For instance, the first piece may be secured or locked to a license plate using a locking mechanism, which includes a cam and rods. In another embodiment, the first piece may be a support bracket dimensioned and configured to rest over a rim of a trunk without interfering with the normal functions of a lock on the trunk. The second piece can include a variety of devices such as and not limited to a bumper guard or a tray. The second piece may depend from and be removably connected to the first piece. By the second piece being removably connectable to the first piece, the second piece can be easily replaced when damaged or worn or interchanged.

Abstract: The present application is directed to a multi-position table for use in confined spaces, particularly a multi-position table attached to a wall in a recreational vehicle. In one embodiment, the table comprises a table top and a bracket pivotably connected to the table top to the wall. The table top is movable between a storage position in which the table top is folded against the wall, a first deployed position, and a second deployed position without disconnecting the table top from the bracket. The table top may include clearance openings to allow the bracket to pass from a first side of the table top to a second side of the table top when the table top is moved from the first deployed position to the storage position.

Abstract: The trailer workshop includes a trailer, a work bench, a power tool and at least two pivot bases. The trailer includes at two wheels, hitch extension, a floor, a front wall, a rear wall, two side walls and a roof. A side door is created in one of the two side walls. A rear door is preferably created in the rear wall. The at least two pivot bases are mounted to the floor, adjacent the side door. The work bench is pivotally retained by the at least two pivot bases, such that when the work bench is in a substantially horizontal position, thereof extends outside the trailer. The side door is held above the work bench in a substantially horizontal position. The work bench includes a work piece support and a power tool support. The power tool is mounted to a top of the power tool support.

Abstract: A tray-table assembly capable of secured to an automobile seat is disclosed. The tray table assembly includes a detachable tray-table, a frame member, at least one strap, and a pair of adjustable support brackets. The detachable tray-table includes a flat support face and an indented support face, and is capable of being flipped to provide one of the flat support face and the indented support face. The frame member is capable of enclosing the detachable tray-table. The at least one strap is capable of securing the frame member to the automobile seat. The pair of adjustable support brackets is attached to the frame member and the detachable tray-table, the pair of adjustable support brackets capable of enabling a movement of the detachable tray-table between an upright position and a horizontal service position.

Abstract: Mechanisms designed to facilitate movement of tray tables or other platforms are addressed. Internal flexible sleeves provide more constant pressure on linearly-moving shafts associated with the tables, reducing or cancelling possible lateral misalignments of the shafts. Outer cases maintain the flexible sleeves in position, and positive stopping features may be employed to prevent extension or retraction of the shafts beyond desired amounts.

Abstract: Cooking apparatus includes a support structure which supports a cooking area, a side attachment such as a side table removably attached to the support structure and extending laterally alongside the cooking area, and connecting assemblies which enables the foldability and removability of the side table. Each connecting assembly includes two pins attached to vertical supports of the support structure and side brackets attached to the side table which each include two substantially L-shaped slots into which the pins are received. The slot of each bracket closest to an elongate portion of the bracket opens to an outer edge and is oriented upward while the other slot of each bracket opens to the inner edge and is also oriented upward.

Abstract: A stowable table is provided having a tabletop with a top surface that faces outward when stowed and upward when deployed. In one embodiment, the stowable table includes a tabletop, a support bracket and a back member. The tabletop has a top surface, a bottom surface and an end. The support bracket has an upper end and a lower end, wherein the upper end is pivotally connected to the bottom surface of the tabletop. The back member has a bottom end, a top end, a back side and a front side, where the front side extends between the bottom end and the top end, wherein the lower end of the support bracket is pivotally connected to the bottom end, and the end of the tabletop is positionably connected to the front side between a stowed position and a deployed position. The stowable table is selectively attachable to a wall or may use the wall as a member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a tray for use with a walker. The tray includes a generally rigid tray base having an essentially rectangular shape with a front long side, a back long side, a first short side and a second short side, and wherein the tray has a length that extends to or past the essentially horizontal support member; a ridge extending along the sides of the tray, wherein the ridge has a height of at least about a ½ inch; a strap having a hook and loop fastener wherein the strap is positioned at or near the back long end; and a first hinge and a second hinge, the first and second hinges are positioned, when the tray is in use, at or near the front leg of the first and second support, respectively. The length of the tray is greater that the distance between the support member of the first support and the support member of the second support; and the width of the tray is less than the length of the support member of the first support or second support.

Abstract: A console box has a table of a vehicle and disposed between a pair of seats for a passenger. The console box, includes: a box body having a receptor space; a lid configured to cover the receptor space of the box body, and a table configured to move between the followings: a) a first position where the box body is overlapped with the lid, and b) a second position disposed frontward relative to the first position with respect to the seats. The table includes: a) a shaft configured to support a plate face of the table such that the plate face is rotatable substantially horizontally, and b) a guide configured to move the table frontward through between the pair of the seats.

Abstract: A portable paint station that includes a work table and a pair of legs that are positionable in a retracted position and an extended position. In one form, the paint station provides a work surface that may be selectively positioned at two distinct heights. In another form, the paint station provides a work surface with a roller tray recess that may be selectively covered to resist the formation of a skin on paint that is located in the recess. In a further form, the paint station provides a work table with a pair of legs. At least one set of the legs has a handle aperture that may be employed to hand carry the paint station on its side. In yet another form, the paint station includes a roller tray assembly that facilitates the short-term storage of a paint roller that is loaded with paint.

Abstract: An adjustable steering wheel table for a vehicle steering wheel having a top section and a bottom section. The steering wheel table includes a table member, at least two wheel grasping arms and a brace arm assembly. The table member has a length, a width, an underside and a front edge. The at least two wheel grasping arms are connected to the table member and extend beyond the front edge of the table member and are releasably engageable with at least a portion of the top section of the vehicle steering wheel. The brace arm assembly is pivotally connected to at least one of the underside and edge of the table member and releaseably engageable with the bottom section of the vehicle steering wheel.

Abstract: A running board system is provided for the light truck market, where a beam of the running board is removable to double as a ramp. For example, a single one of these beams can be used to guide a motorcycle onto a truck bed, or alternatively a pair of these removable beams can be used to provide a ramp for guiding a two wheel cart (e.g., hand truck), four wheel vehicle, or snowmobile onto the truck bed. Optionally, the beam includes lockable storage and/or includes brackets for securement of the beam(s) to the truck's tailgate when used as a ramp.

Abstract: Disclosed is a portable shelf that is capable of being attached to an interior portion of an automobile for accommodating articles thereon. The portable shelf comprises a receptacle, at least one extending member, and at least one attaching mechanism. The receptacle is capable of accommodating the articles thereon. The at least one extending member is horizontally attached to a portion of the receptacle. Further, the at least one attaching mechanism is coupled to a free end portion of the at least one extending member. Furthermore, the at least one attaching mechanism is capable of being detachably attached to the interior portion of the automobile. Upon detachably attaching the at least one attaching mechanism with the interior portion of the automobile, the portable shelf is being detachably attached to the interior portion of the automobile for accommodating the articles thereon.
