Abstract: An accessory item for a sink top is configured to increase the working surface area surrounding the sink. The sink top accessory includes multiple panels preferably made from silicone rubber, each panel having a rigid integrated frame structure. The panels are connected to each other using living hinges, which enable the accessory to be folded for storage. In use, the sink top accessory sits over the sink without obstructing use of the sink faucet, and operates to turn a large portion of the sink into usable work space by operating to extend the counter area around the sink into the sink, thus increasing the working surface area of the same.

Abstract: An outrigger plank splice support which is selectively removably attached to an outrigger which extends transversely outwardly from a trailer. The outrigger plank splice support includes an upper horizontally disposed plank support member which has a greater width than the width of the upper end member of the outrigger.

Abstract: A utility cart with lock box which includes a fixed housing portion mounted to the top of a cart storage unit, and a rotating housing portion rotatably mounted to the fixed housing portion. The fixed housing portion includes spaced sidewalls joined to a clear see through arcuate back wall, and an open front. The rotating housing portion includes spaced sidewalls joined to a clear see through arcuate front wall, and an open back. The rotating housing portion is dimensioned such that it can be rotated rearwardly up and over the fixed housing to provide access to items stored in the fixed housing portion, or under the closed rotating housing portion. Alternatively the rotating housing can be rotated forwardly and downwardly to enclose all items in the lock box. The items located in the lock box are visible whether the box is opened or closed.

Abstract: A lightweight portable and adjustable computer table that can be located on the top of an existing office desk or table for standing computer use and be adjustable in monitor and keyboard height. The lightweight portable and adjustable computer table is dual adjustable in that both the monitor shelf and the keyboard shelf adjust in height independently to achieve ergonomically correct and comfortable positioning. By folding the table top by the means of a hinge, such as a piano hinge, against the back support member and folding the leg assemblies together, the keyboard tray can be attached for convenient storage and be easily transported using a carry handle.

Abstract: An exemplary display device includes a support member, a pair of displays slidably attached to the support member, and positioning members disposed between the displays and the support member. The support member includes a straight slideway, and a curved slideway defined therein. The curved slideway includes a slanting portion, and a first straight portion and a second straight portion extending out from opposite ends of the slanting portion. The straight slideway is parallel to the first straight portion of the curved slideway and in line with the second straight portion of the curved slideway. The displays are slidably received in the straight slideway and the curved slideway respectively. The displays may be positioned to form a large screen, or slid to overlap leaving a single display visible.

Abstract: A barbecue grill assembly includes aside rack mounted foldably on a main frame, which has a mounting seat formed with an insert hole for access to a slide passage and installed with a resilient locking pin and an operating shaft coupled to the locking pin. The side rack has an insert rod extending slidably into the slide passage and formed with an engaging groove for engaging the locking pin so as to retain the side rack at a horizontal unfolded position. The insert rod extends through a side hole portion of the insert hole when in the unfolded position. The operating shaft is operable against restoring action of the locking pin so as to disengage the locking pin from the insert rod. The insert rod is slidable outwardly and is turnable downwardly to extend through a bottom hole portion of the insert hole when disengaged from the locking pin.

Abstract: There is described a convertible table system which has a fixed central portion and leaves along at least two adjacent edges. The leaves fold from an operative position where they are substantially co-planar with the table top to a stored position where they are rotated through 180.degree. to be against or adjacent the bottom of the fixed part of the table. The leaves are retained in the operative position by sliding supports. These supports have pendant portions to be sufficiently robust to withstand the usage to which the table might be put. The pendant portions are able to be retracted out of the paths of the leaves when they are folded to the stored position. The angle of mounting of the sliding supports allows this to occur. The leaves are held in the stored position by a catch which can be magnetic or frictional or other.

Abstract: A self-contained slidable locking mechanism for supporting a drop-leaf table extension to a tabletop, the mechanism comprising a catch plate having material removed to define an elongated groove, an elongated slidable support bar having first and second ends, a hook member attached at the first end and a stop pin extending outwardly from a first surface of the support bar, the stop pin slidably engaged within the elongated groove of the catch plate and, an elongated retainer sleeve which receives the support bar, the retainer sleeve and the catch plate forming a housing within which the slidable support bar reciprocates from an extended position to a retracted position, where in the extended position the second end of the slidable support bar extends from the housing and supports the drop-leaf table extension in a horizontal position and when in the retracted position the hook member locks the drop-leaf table extension in a folded position, the housing being adapted to be mounted to the underside of the table

Abstract: A portable apparatus for storing tools in an organized fashion and which also converts to a combination saw table, router table and workbench. Abstract: A table is disclosed having extension leaves secured to opposite edges of the table top by hinges. The hinges include a first hinge member which is secured to the leaf and a second hinge member which is connected to the table top and is slidable relative to the table top. The first and second hinge members are pivotally connected to one another by a pivot pin carried by the slidable second hinge member and received within an elongated slot of the first hinge member. A rigid stop is secured to the second hinge member and spaced away from the pivot pin a distance less than a radius from the first end of the slot to the terminal end and a distance less than a radial distance from the second end of the slot to the terminal end.

Abstract: A hinge and latch assembly for use in mounting an extension leaf to a support comprises at least one telescopic hinge mechanism mounted to the underside surface of the support at one end and mounted to the underside surface of the extension leaf at the other end and having a plurality of telescopic sliding members disposed between the two ends, and a pivot connection between the members and the one end connected to the extension leaf whereby the leaf can be pivoted 180.degree. when the mechanism is fully extended between a use position and a storage position; and at least one latch mechanism mounted to the underside surface of the extension leaf for retaining the extension leaf in the use position wherein the latch mechanism is automatically unlatched when the extension leaf is in the storage position and is automatically latched when the extension leaf is moved out of the storage position.

A pair of guide rails, mounted to the table, support a flat hinge plate for sliding movement along the undersurface of the table while an extension leaf is pivotally connected to one end of the hinge plate for rotation between the extended and storage positions. A latch mechanism is provided to lock the leaf in the extended position.

Abstract: A two piece table leaf slide support consisting of a U-shaped metal channel member and a metal support bracket slidably supporting the channel member, the elongated U-shaped channel member having a vertical base wall, and a top flange and a bottom flange extending longitudinally orthogonally of the base wall, one end of the channel being curved with the top and bottom flanges remaining substantially in their respective planes, and a pair of lengthwise spaced apart lancings through the channel member vertical base wall effective to prevent the channel member from jamming or shifting endwise out of the support bracket.

Abstract: A bench includes a rigid frame and a work board pivotable to and away from the frame. The work board can be brought into a rest position and into a plurality of operating positions and can be in at least two operating positions supported by an arm movably supported on the frame. The arm is pivotable with respect to the frame in a horizontal plane. The arm can carry at its free end a clamping device. The structure of the bench increases a range of clamping a work piece on the bench over the length of the work board.

Abstract: A generally horizontal load bed is provided including a longitudinal marginal edge and a plurality of cantilever support arms are spaced along the marginal edge of the support bed and pivotally supported therefrom at one set of corresponding ends of the arms for angular displacement of the arms relative to said load bed about upstanding axes for swinging between extended positions with the other set of corresponding ends of the arms projecting outwardly from the load bed marginal edge and folded positions with the arms generally paralleling the load bed marginal edge. An elongated extension panel assembly is provided and parallels the load bed marginal edge and overlies and is supported from the support arms.

Abstract: A slide device for supporting the folding leaf of a dropleaf table comprises a bar and an elongated retainer having a channel which receives the bar for lengthwise reciprocation. The channel has a depth slightly greater than the width of the bar, and the retainer is provided with oppositely extending coplanar flanges on opposite sides of the channel which define a substantially flat mounting surface. A first boss is provided on each flange near one end which projects above the mounting surface. A second boss of substantially the same height as the first boss is also provided on each flange and is disposed adjacent to the first boss on the side thereof toward the other flange end. Each second boss has a first mounting hole therethrough, and each flange is provided with a second mounting hole near the other end thereof.

Abstract: Portable desk having a main rectangular body including one or more compartment areas for storing items, having a foldable table portion which, on closure, covers the storage compartments, and having a plurality of extendable legs which are collapsible into the main body portion. One or more bar elements are adaptable initially for storage within the table element and, on fold-out of the desk, to be fitted within aligned slots in each the table porton and main body to support a table and supplementally to assist in bracing the extended leg members against lateral movement. Supplemental means also are provided to render the extended leg members to be respectively adjustable to various lengths to allow the desk to be leveled when unfolded and set up on an uneven surface or terrain.

Abstract: A piece of furniture having at least one flap pivotable to a flat open position, as the flap of a sewing machine cabinet, and including a support device for the flap in such operative flat position. This support device advantageously strengthens the portion of the piece of furniture to which the flap is pivotally connected, is adapted to be readily added to an existing piece of furniture, and retracts to an unconspicuous inoperative position inside the body of the piece of furniture. This piece of furniture comprises a flap pivoted to the top thereof, a bracket fixed against the lower face of the top, a body of sliding resistant material secured to the bracket, and a supporting arm slidable endwise through this body of sliding resistant material and outwardly extendable in operative supporting position against the lower face of the flap outwardly extending in flat open position.

Abstract: A framework contains a copy machine having a transparent platen on its rectangular top surface, and an ejection slot and access door on sides below the top surface. Three planar leaves are attached to the framework such that they may be moved either to a horizontal position coplanar with the transparent platen or to a vertical position proximate the framework. When in the raised horizontal position, the leaves provide a large surface which facilitates copying large sheets or plats. An aperture within a planar leaf and adjustments in the framework provide access to the sides of the copy machine for operational purposes.
