Abstract: A table with a central extension includes a chassis, two movable trays bearing on the chassis and adapted to be moved closer to each other to constitute on their own one continuous surface, or separated symmetrically from one another, or one independently of the other to allow the set-up of one or several central extension(s) between the movable trays. The chassis is made up of two spars of variable length, two cross-beams, the cross-beams and spars assembled perpendicularly in pairs to form a horizontal frame, and four legs extending at the four corners of the frame below the latter. Each spar includes two portions, a fixed spar and a movable spar, the the spars being made up of a profiled tube with a rectangular cross-section in which extends a slide with a rectangular cross-section and have a longitudinal central groove.

The slidable portion can be slidably engaged with the fixed base portion. The slidable portion can be coupled with the drawer or shelf so the combination of the drawer or shelf and the slidable portion is movable to extend away from the fixed base portion. The cabinet slide system can also include a rigid bracket and a support. The rigid bracket can be formed with a vertical section and a horizontal section perpendicular to the vertical section. The fixed base portion can be coupled with the vertical section. The support can be included in the horizontal section. The fixed base portion can be contiguously and detachedly rested on the support to arrest rotational torque of the telescoping slide member upon being placed under load.

Abstract: The foldable truck bed extension deck and ramp assembly are mountable in a short-box pickup truck. The bed extension deck and ramp assembly have a comparable length to a full-size pickup truck box when deployed for use, and are jointly foldable to fit into a short-bed pickup truck with its tailgate closed when not used. The bed extension deck has a strong upper surface to resist deformation in rough use. The ramp member can be deployed with its front end matching the surface of the extension deck so that a vehicle can be driven along the ramp member and onto the deck surface without encountering any transition step.

Abstract: An expandable table assembly having a table top, a base, a plurality of legs supporting the base, and a plurality of releasably attachable expansion members that can be used to expand the table surface beyond the surface area of the unexpanded table top. The table top is repositionable from a first use position to a second use position by lifting the table top above the base, rotating the table top 90 degrees relative to the base in a substantially horizontal plane, and then lowering the table top back onto the base. The expansion members are attachable to the base only when the table top is in the second use position and, when attached, become part of the total surface area of the table.

Abstract: A runner for an extension table that has two sliding leaves includes a wooden primary transverse beam with a side, a wooden secondary transverse beam attached securely to the side of the primary transverse beam and a track assembly attached to the side of the primary transverse beam. The secondary transverse beam has a top. The track assembly is supported by being fitted on the top of the secondary transverse beam. Therefore, the secondary transverse beam provides a robust support to the track assembly to prevent that from being deformed or separated when the track assembly undergoes an accumulated weight caused by stacking the extension tables during a period of transport or storage.

The table top sections are coupled to a guide plate, which defines the positions between which the sections move. The guide plate is mounted for rotation and engages low friction rub blocks mounted along the inner perimeter of the outer edge of the table. The table top sections themselves are mounted on guides, which are at least partially received in the guide plate. Once the table top sections have been moved into the expanded configuration by rotation of the table top, table leaves are inserted in the spaces between adjacent table top sections to form a larger contiguous table surface.

Abstract: This utility model discloses a type of adjustable, folding table, composed of a table top and a table frame, wherein the table frame comprises two cross bars, at least two longitudinal bars, two leg sets, and two support rods, and wherein the table top comprises two fastened and joined main table tops and at least one auxiliary table top. The bottom of each table top is shaped to have sliding grooves corresponding to two crossbars. The two main table tops of this folding table slide relative to the two cross bars of the table frame. Therefore, when it becomes necessary to increase the area of the table top, one can move the two main table tops relative to the cross-bars towards the two sides, join the auxiliary table tops between the two main table tops, and set them on the cross-bars to form a table top with a large surface area. When it becomes necessary to reduce the size of the table top, then one needs only detach the auxiliary table tops.

The primary rail has a connection plate which is provided with a rotary gear. The inner rail and the outer rail are provide with a connection plate having a row of toothed holes. The inner rail and the outer rail are slidably engaged with the primary rail such that the gear of the primary rail moves along the row of toothed holes. When one table leaf is pulled, the outer rail is pulled out along the primary rail such that the gear of the primary rail is actuated by the toothed holes to turn. The inner rail is then actuated by the gear in motion to slide in opposite direction, thereby causing two table leaves to slide in opposite directions at the same time.

A first table end segment is secured to the first outer ends of the first and second side bars, and a second table end segment is secured to the second outer ends of the first and second side bars. First and second crossing bars are connected to and extend between the first and second side bars. A removable table segment is positioned between the first and second table end segments, the removable table segment having a first leaf and a second leaf, with the first leaf pivotally coupled to the first and second crossing bars. A storage space is defined by the first and second side bars and the first and second crossing bars. The first and second leaves may be folded against each other and stored in the storage space to reduce the overall size of the table.

Abstract: A tableslide mechanism for use in extension tables in a manner which minies variations in guide block dimensions, while at the same time utilizing materials which have good strength characteristics and which are relatively inexpensive to manufacture. This is accomplished by providing a pair of wooden slide members, each having a lengthwise recess formed in the bearing surface thereof, and a plastic guide block for sliding engagement disposed therebetween. The guide block comprises oppositely disposed male extensions for receipt within and sliding engagement with the channels in the slide members. In this way, the coefficient of friction between the guide block and the tableslide is minimized, thus reducing friction.

Pedestal means is provided for directly supporting at least one but not all of the table top elements. The abutment line comprises a non-straight line and at least three pairs of cooperating interfitting male and female members are provided for connecting together each table top element and the next adjacent table top element. The pairs of cooperating male and female members are disposed at spaced apart locations in a non-collinear arrangement along the or each said abutment line. The pairs of cooperating members form the sole means of support for table top elements not provided with a pedestal and the weight of such elements is carried by shear stresses in the cooperating members and by bending stresses in the table top elements themselves.

Abstract: An extendable table has a legged base defining a horizontal support surface extending in longitudinal and transverse directions and having a pair of outer transversely extending edges, a first table panel resting on the support surface and having a transversely extending inner edge intermediate and generally parallel to the outer edges, and a second table panel restable on the support surface, having a transversely extending inner edge buttable with the inner edge of the first panel, and formed with a pair of transversely open and longitudinally extending grooves. Respective rollers on the base underneath the second panel define a transversely extending first pivot axis, and extend transversely into guiding engagement with the grooves. Thus the second panel can slide longitudinally relative to the base on the rollers and can be pivoted on the rollers about the first pivot axis.

The top of the cabinet is movable to a closed position and a functional position, and an adjustable, spring-urged bolt is engageable with different escutcheon plates to latch the top in each position. A waste receptacle is attachable to the side of the cabinet by a hook and teazle material for simplicity in releasably attaching the receptacle to the cabinet. An optional arm rest is arranged so bracket arms spring inwardly against collars to retard pivotal motion of the arm rest.

Abstract: A table section aligning and fastening device comprises a unitary plastic male member including a projecting nose portion and a complementary unitary plastic female member defining an alignment channel for receiving the nose portion of the male member. The members mount to the underside of respective table sections to be joined at their respective abutting edges. The nose portion is both laterally and vertically tapered so as to cooperate with the alignment channel defining portion of the female member in guiding the table sections into lateral and vertical alignment as they are pushed together. The female member includes an integral resilient finger which resiliently engages in a retaining notch formed in the nose portion to hold the members and the table sections together.

Abstract: A universal table having utility at different elevations which includes a top, leg means and brace means. The pair of leg means are pivotally mounted to the top and to a secondary member located vertically downwardly from the pivotal connection to the top. Each pair of leg means extends angularly upwardly and inwardly to the point of connection with the top and has pivotally secured thereto, at a point intermediate the ends, a brace means which extends upwardly and outwardly and has its upper end portion pivotally connected to the table top. The brace means may alternatively be composed of two aligned pivotaly connected brace means or a pair of telescopically interconnected members such that when a table is in a lower position, the brace members are in a semi-folded condition or telescoped. In the upright position, the pivotable brace members are aligned and the telescopic brace members would be extended to their maximum.

Abstract: A boat dock of improved stability and ease of assembly and disassembly, which comprises a dock frame, a pair of dock legs for detachable securement to the opposing sides of the dock frame, and for each dock leg, a releasable leg holding bracket which has means for detachable securement of the bracket to the dock frame in order to prevent significant sidesway of the dock frame. The bracket is slidably received upon the dock legs and capable of upward sliding movement but has stop means to prevent downward sliding movement. The dock, because of its means of construction, prevents lateral swaying movement. Upward pulling motion caused by high waves may move the dock upward on the leg posts and as it comes down, this motion is used to further drive the leg posts into the lake bottom for increased stability.

Abstract: An extendable table of the disclosure includes an extendable frame having laterally spaced slide assemblies extending between opposite ends thereof so as to be capable of supporting table tops of different lengths. Each slide assembly includes a pair of elongated hollow female beams projecting from opposite ends of the frame and having open ends that receive the opposite ends of an elongated male support member which aligns and slidably interconnects the beams with each other in cooperation with an improved pad arrangement. The pad arrangement permits the support member and beams to have their elongated axes unaligned as the support member is inserted into the beams and the support member is maintained within the beams by a snap action locking that secures certain pads of the arrangement to the open ends of the beams.

Abstract: An extendable table of the disclosure includes an extendable frame having laterally spaced slide assemblies extending between opposite ends thereof so as to be capable of supporting table tops of different lengths. Each slide assembly includes a pair of hollow female beams projecting from opposite ends of the frame and having open ends that receive the opposite ends of a male support member which aligns and slidably interconnects the beams with each other in cooperation with an improved pad arrangement. The support member is maintained within the beams by certain pads of the arrangement that include securement portions extending downwardly through securement openings in the open ends of the beams for welding to the bottom walls of the beams. The support member is positioned in a spaced relationship with respect to the cross-sections of the beams to permit sliding movement therebetween despite variance in the size of these components along their axial lengths.
