Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for a sterile staple implant kit that a surgeon may unpack and utilize during a surgery. The staple implant kit comprises a group of complementary surgery-specific instruments that are packaged in a sterile state. An instrument tray is configured to preserve the instruments in the sterile state until the staple implant kit is opened during the surgery. The instrument tray is configured to provide the surgeon with easy access to the instruments during the surgery. The staple implant kit comprises at least a staple inserter and a surgical staple suitable for being implanted in parallel holes drilled across a bone fusion or fixation site of a patient. The surgical staple preferably is loaded in a relaxed configuration into the staple inserter. A staple retention clip retains the surgical staple in the staple inserter until the staple is distracted during the surgery.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method fragments a first packet into a plurality of fragments when a length of an encapsulated first packet is larger than a maximum transmission unit size. For each fragment in the plurality of fragments, fragmentation information is generated. The method encapsulates each fragment in the plurality of fragments with an outer header to form a plurality of encapsulated packets. The respective fragmentation information for each fragment is inserted in a portion of the outer header that is processed by endpoints of an overlay tunnel and not processed by a device along a path of the overlay tunnel. The plurality of encapsulated packets are sent via the overlay tunnel.

Abstract: A two-piece multi-functional tray table cover is configured with a flexible sleeve and water-resistant prop-up tray to simultaneously provide a hygienic barrier to the tray table's surface, and a dedicated play, work, or otherwise use area for a user to place their toys, drinks, food, etc. The sleeve is comprised of a spandex material to enable a user to stretch the fabric around various-sized tray tables to accommodate different manufacturers, airlines, etc. The sleeve has a hook and loop fastener, such as Velcro®, on the top side, which attaches to a corresponding hook and loop fastener on the prop-up tray. In addition, the bottom side of the sleeve, opposite the top side with the hook and look fastener, has at least a pocket with a transparent window that enables a user to view a computing device's screen or other contents.

Abstract: A multi-tiered surgical table and a fitted drape for the table are disclosed. The table has a pair of table tops: a rearward, inclined top at a first elevation and a forward top at a lower second elevation. The drape has top panels corresponding in shape to the table tops, with a step panel therebetween to accommodate the change in elevation. The drape is provided, front, top and rear with receptacles for fluids and waste materials and pockets for surgical supplies such as sponges.

Abstract: A grill cover is configured to be utilized with a grill having a metallic component, the grill cover includes a cover body, a magnetic fastener, and a secondary fastener. The cover body presents an outer edge disposed along a bottom side and a cover void therein configured to receive the grill therein. The magnetic fastener and the secondary fastener are each secured to the cover body. The magnetic fastener is configured to provide a magnetic force to keep the magnetic fastener selectively secured to the metallic component of the grill so as to keep the cover body in place around the grill therein. The secondary fastener is configured to reduce a cross-sectional area of the cover void so as to prevent the grill cover from being removed from the grill while the secondary fastener is emplaced.

Abstract: Disclosed is an equipment for receiving surgical materials and/or liquid products for a surgical procedure. The equipment includes: a tray with a top face; and a tight surface film intended to be removably attached to the top face of the tray in order to form a sterile upper surface that is intended to receive the surgical materials and/or liquid products. The top face of the tray includes at least one recess, and the tight surface film, attached to the tray, forms at least one pocket extending inside the at least one recess and adapted to receive at least one of the surgical materials and/or liquid products.

Each tab defines a conduit, and each tab is connected to the lower surface of the tablecloth. The drawstring extends through each of the plurality of tabs. In use, the plurality of tabs are gathered towards the at least one leg by tension applied to the drawstring, and ends of the drawstring are tied together to secure the tablecloth to the table.

The bed sheet tensioning system attaches to the perimeter of the sheet at two or more locations. The bed sheet tensioning system applies a tension to the sheet as the sheet is placed over the mattress. The bed sheet tensioning system comprises a plurality of tensioning devices, a plurality of cords, a plurality of clips, a plurality of grommets, and a control circuit. The plurality of cords and clips secure the sheet to the tensioning device. The plurality of grommets protect and guide the plurality of cords through the box spring. Abstract: A table cover system with an affixed garbage bag on one end. The table cover can be unrolled onto a table top with the garbage bag unrolled on one end of the cover. This allows for rubbish to be easily and quickly disposed of from the top of the table. The table cover can also be rolled over all remaining rubbish and garbage and stuffed into the garbage bag for easy disposal. The top face of the table cover can include printed elements, such as interactive games, team logos, or icons or characters from popular movies and television. Other options would include menus, schedules, or meeting information which may be printed directly to the table cover or attached after the cover is placed.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods related to an underbody support for supporting a body of a being, such as during surgery to prevent contact pressure injuries. In certain embodiments, the underbody support may include one or more inflatable chambers enclosing a volume. At least one of the inflatable chambers may include one or more compression sensitive switches for monitoring the volume of the inflatable chamber, and the one or more compression sensitive switches may be located within the inflatable chamber. In some embodiments the one or more compression sensitive switches are sized to close when the said inflatable chamber is deflated to a desired residual volume.

The drive mechanism is configured to either extend or retract each leg assembly in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis to set a height of the frame assembly in an elevated position for use. The sensor is configured to sense position and movement of a user in a predetermined area including an area of the variable height platform system and an area proximate the variable height platform system. The controller is operatively connected to the sensor and drive mechanism. The controller is configured to operate the drive mechanism in response to the sensor sensing the position and movement of the user in the predetermined area.

Abstract: Various implementations include an extended repeated-use table cover device. The device includes a roller, a non-silicone mat, an enclosure, a table mount, and a winding mechanism. An outer surface of the roller is coupled to a first mat end such that rotation of the roller about a roller axis causes the mat to wind around the outer surface of the roller. An outer surface of the enclosure defines an opening extending from the outer surface to a cavity defined by an inner surface of the enclosure. The controller (24) may direct the drive mechanism (28) automatically or indicate the undesirable position to a caregiver so that the caregiver may direct the drive mechanism (28) accordingly.

Abstract: A cover of rigid planar configuration is designed for removable placement on the open top of a wheelbarrow for complete closing thereof to protect materials that are oftentimes contained therein from environmental damage. In particular, curable materials such as cement, mortar and the like will begin to cure if left unattended for more than short periods of time and this problem is particularly troublesome in dry climates. The cover is provided with a depending lip for engaging the sides of the wheelbarrow to prevent the cover from siding movement on the wheelbarrow, and tie-down devices can be used to releasably secure the cover on the wheelbarrow. In addition to protecting the contents of the wheelbarrow, the planar surface of the cover can provide a convenient work surface of use on a job site.

Abstract: An adjustable desk apparatus includes an auxiliary work surface that is movable between a sitting configuration and a standing configuration. When in the sitting configuration, the auxiliary work surface is located adjacent to a primary work surface of an existing desk so as to accommodate working while sitting. When in the standing configuration, the auxiliary work surface is upwardly displaced from the primary work surface of the existing desk so as to accommodate working while standing. At least one notched corner is formed by distal edge extensions of edges meeting perpendicular to one another. A plurality of retaining walls extend downward from the bottom surface of the platform and define the edge notches, proximate a junction of the platform and the edge extensions, for securing the pallet cap over a shipping pallet. Multiple caps may be connected to form an expandable raised flooring system or other structures.
