Abstract: A working table or desk having a grating for vertical storage of material in elongated form, such as rolled blueprints. The table has a vertically directed opening with grating forming rods extending thereacross to form spaces for inserting rolled documents for storage. A container is positioned below the opening on the floor to receive the lower ends of the material. The opening has vertical surfaces having spaced horizontally directed holes therein. Each hole on each surface is in alignment with an opposite hole in an opposite surface to receive the rods forming the grating. One of each pair of oppositely aligned holes is deeper than the other to receive a coil spring. Each rod is inserted into a deeper hole to be in abutment with the spring, the spring being compressed to permit the entry of the rod across the opening and when so compressed the other end of the rod is within the opening and in position to be forced into the opposite hole by the bias of the spring. The spring thus holds each rod in place.

Abstract: Pedestal-type tables are joined together along two planar edges by using two pairs of alignable spaced-apart openings in the table tops. A sleeve member includes a resilient circumferential constriction closely spaced from the terminal of the sleeve wherein a fastener is used to secure the sleeve within the opening in the table top. Cylindrical connector elements each includes circumferential recesses spaced from the terminal ends to releasably receive the resilient constrictions in the sleeve member to form releasable interconnection elements in the aligned openings in the table tops when the planar edges are disposed in a juxtaposed relation.

Abstract: A portable stage is formed from a plurality of similar interlocking members having interconnecting fastening mechanisms located on the ends and sides of the stage top. Each member has a removable upper surface panel, and a plurality of foldable legs of at least two different lengths.

Abstract: A pair of portable trays usable separately and combined into a single tray. One of the trays is provided with a plurality of openings on the receptacle thereof for carrying articles such as ice cream cones thereon and has legs for converting it into a stand. The legs are provided with pockets for serving silverware and napkins therefrom. The other tray is a tray with a flat receptacle having raised edges and is free of openings but is provided on an underside thereof with two spaced lugs releasably insertable into aligned paired openings of the one tray for converting it into a conventional portable tray as well as a conventional tray on a stand.

Abstract: A sewing machine support structure in which the machine is slidable in a horizontal plane from in-use to out-of-use position and vice-versa, and in either position, the machine always is in full view, never concealed. Additionally, means are provided for mounting the machine so that it may be selectively moved vertically to position a convertible type sewing machine in a flat bed or free arm mode of operation.

Abstract: A table having a sliding table top supported on a base for edgewise adjustment of the top relative to the base, and means for releasably locking the top in fixed position relative to the base. The table is designed for use in combination with a bench seat or the like to provide a dining facility, such as a breakfast nook, wherein the table top may be moved away from the seat for convenience of access to and egress from the seat and toward the seat to a comfortable dining position.

Abstract: A table assembly having a top portion and a base portion which are secured together by supplying the base portion with a circular ring and the top portion with a plurality of clips supported on the bottom surface of the top portion by cross braces. The clips align with the circular ring of the base portion by sliding the top portion therealong whereby one of the clips is situated in the interior of the circular ring and the other clips are situated exteriorly of the circular ring. The clips are then secured to the bottom surface of the circular ring as by screws.

Abstract: A drape assembly for a surgical equipment table comprising, a sterile set-up drape having a barrier panel which is unfolded from the assembly to cover a reference end edge of the table, and a sterile table drape. A first end portion of the table drape is unfolded from the assembly into a configuration extending past an edge of the table remote the reference edge. After placing sterile articles on the unfolded part of the table drape and positioning the table adjacent a patient, a second end portion of the table drape may be unfolded into a configuration covering the barrier panel.

Abstract: This invention has to do with a portable rostrum and, more particularly, to apparatus arranged to provide a stage for educational purposes and the like, which stage can be dis-assembled and carried to a remote area and re-erected without difficulty.

Abstract: This invention is a three-way table. It includes a folding table similar to a conventional card table but combined with means for attaching supports extending outwardly on all sides of the basic table. A conversion top can be placed on the table with one side up to provide a serving table with a finish such as polished wood or simulated wood. This convertible top can be turned upside down to provide a gaming table contoured for the particular game or games for which it is intended; for example with depressions for holding poker chips. The convertible top can be folded for more convenient storage.

Each place setting section includes a relatively recessed circular portion formed in the flexible material and also eating utensils which are attached to the flexible material.
