A vibration cancelling platform provides stabilization for an electronic device while being used in a moving vehicle. A platform may comprise a top housing and a bottom housing which may slide laterally relative to each other in order to stabilize a user's electronic device resting upon the top housing. Low friction sliding components such as linear slides or rollers help to reduce or prevent the environmental movement experienced by the bottom housing from being transmitted to the upper housing. Spring elements secured between the top and bottom housings further assist in reducing vibration and act to stabilize the top housing in a centralized position. The platform may comprise two or more sections that slide open and expand the platform size to accommodate laptops of different sizes.

    Abstract: A swivel mechanism for foldable furniture includes two disks and a rotatable assembly sandwiched in between. Each disk has a plurality of through holes each for receiving an elongated metal tube and jointly connecting the tube to the disk. The through hole has a side wall with a slanted concave surface. A bridge member having one side with a slanted concave surface is formed across the through hole. When the metal tube is held in a slanted open position, the slanted concave surfaces of the side wall and the bridge member are engaged with the tube to provide strong support and restrain movement.

    Abstract: A computer workstation (10) is provided which allows vertical motion of a monitor and keyboard through a power lift (20). Further, the mounted monitor is mounted on a monitor support (22) which allows the monitor to be pivoted about a horizontal axis through an angle of about 30°. The keyboard is mounted on a keyboard support (32) which allows the keyboard to be moved vertically relative to the monitor and the workstation and locked in place by a locking mechanism such as a cam (34). The keyboard can also be pivotally adjusted about a horizontal axis for proper positioning. A mouse pad plate (44) is pivoted from the front of the keyboard support (32) to allow a negative angle for use of the mouse. A reference material plate (54) can be mounted on the workstation for reference materials. The workstation is preferably mounted on swivel casters (14) allowing the workstation to be readily moved from position to position. In another embodiment, the workstation(100) has a gas pressure lift assembly(102).
