Abstract: An inter-seeding unit may be provided. The inter-seeding unit may comprise an upper suspension unit and an intermediate joint connected to the upper suspension unit. The inter-seeding unit may further comprise a row unit connected to the intermediate joint. The row unit may comprise a seeding device.
Abstract: A hydraulic control system for use with a front fold planter is configured to move the tool bar of the planter between a first height corresponding to a planting position, a second height corresponding to a field transport position and a third height corresponding to a road transport position. A first set of hydraulic cylinders is mounted to the tool bar for moving the frame between the first height, the second and the third height. A second set of hydraulic cylinders is mounted to the tool bar for moving the frame between the first height and the second height. The first and second set of cylinders are arranged in a master/slave relationship relative to each other and operable independent of each other.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for interseeding an area of ground having existing vegetation growing thereon are provided. The interseeder apparatus tills a plurality of spaced-apart rows in the ground, deposits seed in the exposed soil of the rows, compacts the seed into the rows, and optionally, sprays at least a portion of the exiting vegetation adjacent the rows with a herbicide so as to reduce competition for the new seedling.

Abstract: A seeding machine is provided with a frame comprising a center frame section and left and right wing frame sections. The frame has a planting configuration and a transport configuration. The center frame section and the left and right wing frame sections each have a hollow toolbar forming a pneumatic manifold. Individual planting units are mounted to the toolbars. The pneumatic manifold of the center frame section is automatically pneumatically coupled to each of the left and right wing frame sections by a resilient bell that forms a pneumatic path between the center frame section and the left and right wing frame sections when the frame is in its planting configuration. The pneumatic manifolds are pneumatically coupled to pneumatic seed meters on the planting units by air hoses.
