Abstract: An article of footwear includes a strobel that has a polymeric bladder defining an interior cavity and configured to retain a fluid in the interior cavity. The polymeric bladder has a peripheral flange extending around at least a portion of a perimeter of the interior cavity. A tensile component is disposed in the interior cavity and is secured to opposing inner surfaces of the polymeric bladder. The peripheral flange defines a groove extending along the peripheral flange. The strobel also includes a lasting component configured to extend along the peripheral flange around the at least a portion of the perimeter of the interior cavity. The lasting component is secured to the peripheral flange. A method of manufacturing footwear that includes the strobel is disclosed.

Abstract: The invention is a general purpose glove that provide solar protection for the back of the user's hand while leaving the palm and finger pads exposed. By leaving the palm-side of the hand exposed the wearer is provided with an unimpeded sense of touch and greater control over the tools being used and a dryer and cooler hand. The invention can be made of UPF fabric, or some other material providing less UV protection.

Abstract: A system and method for reinforcement helps reinforce a pocket at the seams and edges with panels, stitches, and folds. The system helps reinforce a pocket at the seams and edges, such that abrasive forces on the pocket are alleviated. The reinforcement comprises an addition of multiple layers of material and fabric that overlay the pocket at sections of the pocket where engagement and movement most often occur. The system uses unique reinforcement panels that overlay the original panel that forms the pocket. The reinforcement panel is of different material than the panel. The reinforcement panel overlays the panel at the open end, where abrasive movement occurs for accessing the interior of the pocket, and also overlays a closed end, where items accumulate inside the pocket. The system utilizes a secondary pocket inside the pocket, along with a zipper and a loop for enhanced usability.

A portion of an inner surface of a panty liner contacts a portion of the inner surfaces of the first and second sections of material and the seam. The location of the seam is such that when the undergarment is worn by a user, the seam cannot be seen by viewing the front side or back side of the user.

Abstract: A suit of the present invention is a two-piece suit (1) including a coat (2) and trousers (3) and/or a skirt that are made from a woven fabric containing animal hair fibers and/or synthetic fibers. The coat (2) stretches more in the weft direction than in the warp direction, and the trousers (3) and/or skirt stretch more in the warp direction than in the weft direction. A method for producing the suit includes: for upper and lower parts of the suit, dyeing yarns of the same quality by the same method and producing woven fabrics that are woven in the same structure; differentiating stretchability of the woven fabrics in warp and weft directions in tentering processing by a heat set in a final finish step, thereby producing a cloth for coat and a cloth for trousers and/or skirt; and cutting and sewing the cloths. Thus, it is possible to provide a suit imparted with a function of high mobility even though it is a two-piece suit, and a method for producing the same.

Abstract: A method of fabricating a temperature resistant and fluid impermeable protective glove having front and back panels joined by at least one seam. During manufacture, the glove is dipped into a first thin liquid to coat the exterior surface of the glove. The first liquid penetrates through gaps in the seam and seals those gaps as it solidifies. The first liquid coated glove is then dipped into a second thicker liquid to coat the entire exterior surface including the sealed seam. A third coating may be applied to the interior surface of the glove prior to joining the front and back panels together. The glove may also include an interior liner and an exterior protective member for added comfort and protection.

The casing includes a first fabric ribbon woven from a polyamide that resists penetration by at least one of the ends of the wire. The casing may be a single layer construction or a multi-layer construction. Selected regions of the casing resist penetration by the wire. The dual access pocket has one or two openings secured on the inside surface of the front panel of the garment, wherein one of said openings is located internal to said front panel of the garment and one of said openings is in communication with a slit through the front panel to provide external access to said dual access pocket. The dual access pocket is therefore accessible from the inside of the garment and the outside of the garment.
