Modified Body Shaper With No Leak Liner(s)

The no leak liner(s) will prevent body fluids from staining and ruining the outer garment. The liner may also absorb excess fluids from the body to prevent embarrassing moments. Anyone who sweat in the underarm area, have urine/anal malfunctions, or menstruation, may greatly benefit from this invention. The “bra strap cover” improves the current body shaping invention. Straps were conventional made to hold garments in place; the “bra strap cover” purpose is to hide the bra straps and lift, support and reshape the breast. This will make it possible to wear any color bra with an outer garment while keeping the body shaper in place. Keeping the body shaper in place will allow it to meet its intended purpose of sliming, shaping, and smoothing the body.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

Women have worn body shapers or briefers, to slim, reshape, smooth the body, and eliminate visible panty lines. Although this undergarment is esthetically pleasing for women, body shapers do not protect against body fluids. Pregnancy, childbirth, and being overweight can weaken the pelvic muscles, and cause urine to leak as well as other stains such as menstruation and underarm sweat that may ruin the outer garment.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Cultural Anthropology penned the girdle as a meager belt for men and women that are worn without any attachment to a larger garment, and less revealing than the loincloth used by Minoan pugilists. Historians estimated that the French designer Paul Poiret invented the girdle around 1910. Paul Poiret made his girdle for the clothing he was designing. During the period 1830-1910, Poiret's revolutionary designs placed much less emphasis on the waist, and more emphasis on the fit around the gluteus and hips. Poiret's revolution became permanent in the 20th century. Because of Poiret's understanding of the way in which women's bodies should interact with their clothing, his invention of the girdle was the reason why the corset went out of fashion. Most women throughout the period 1920-70 wore girdles. The girdle went out of style in the 1970's. The ubiquitous affects of the girdle worn primarily by western women, were very much a part of the glamorous aesthetics of the 1920's to the late 60's.

Today girdles are generally light, medium, or firm control. The difference in the control usually indicates the weight or thickness of the girdle material or the degree in which the girdle is paneled. For a firm control girdle, the fabric needs to be double and/or triple with a greater number of panels, for more contour and control.

Most girdles are lightweight and pull-on garments; however, some girdles contain boning, and have hooks or a zipper. Some styles use fabrics such as cotton, Lycra, nylon, rayon, stretch lace, or stretch satin. The nomenclature of the girdle changed because manufacturers came up with a myriad of descriptive terms such as body-shaper, briefer, control bottom, waist cinchers, shape suit, sports brief, body suits, body briefer, buttock shapers, long line slimmer, leg panties, hip slip, thermal micro shapers, and instant shaping to avoid the negative associations many people have with the word “girdle.”

The principal objective of this invention is to provide a body-shaping undergarment with no leak liner(s) that will protect the outer garment from body fluids, such as menstruation, urine, vaginal secretion, anal secretion, and underarm sweat.

Another important objective is to include straps on the body shaper to hold it in place. Strapless body shapers or body briefs tends to roll down and lose its effectiveness. The straps will have a stretchable fabric that will cover the bra straps of the wearer; this will allow the wearer of the body shaper to wear their favorite and most comfortable bra in the color of their choice. The straps will have a band that goes around the body below the breast. The body shaper straps with cover and band is a “bra strap cover.” The “bra strap cover” has closures and they attach the “bra strap cover” to the briefer. The “bra strap cover” may have panels for lifting and reshaping the breast.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to an undergarment for women or men, more particular, but not exclusively to sowing a leak proof fabric to the gusset area and/or underarm area. The leak proof fabric will protect the garment against body fluid that may cause a stain. The liner will be made of three layers. The inner liner will be cotton for moisture absorbency and comfort or any fabric or material used in the art of liquid absorption. The mid liner will be a no leak fabric ex PUL fabric or any fabric used in the art of leak prevention. The mid liner will be in the gusset and/or underarm area. The mid liner may be any length covering the gusset and/or underarm area. The outer liner may be any fabric used for styling/fashion purposes.

The briefer will enhance the feminine form with the use of strong compression and control in the abdominal area and around the buttocks, hips, thighs, and back. The compression support will cause immediate shaping, slimming, and flattening of the body and will save on costly plastic surgery. Briefers are manufacture by using a combination of natural and interwoven synthetic fibers. The fabric content is 81% nylon and 19% Lycra-spandex or any fabric/material combination needed to construct a correctly compressed body-shaping garment and any fabric/material combination for styling/fashion purposes.

The briefer may be sleeveless, with sleeves or straps. The sleeves may have a leak proof liner sown underneath the underarm between two fabrics. The sleeve may be any length. The briefer may have a “bra strap cover” permanently attached or removable.

The body shaper may be a one piece, two-piece or three-piece garment. The body-shaping garment may be separate underneath the breast, above the breast or at the waistline. Those skilled in the art will readily visualize variations and modifications of the invention as illustrated.
