A guide rail is mounted on both lateral ends of one of the cloth holder and the receiver in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the cloth holder. The guide rail engages and holds both lateral ends of another one of the cloth holder and the receiver in the direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the cloth holder.

    Abstract: To improve embroidery precision by preventing the front end of an embroidery frame from being pulled down by the weight of cloth workpiece, the embroidery sewing machine comprises: at least one cylindrical bed disposed on the upper portion of a machine frame; a table disposed on the upper portion of the machine frame and divided into a fixed table and an up-and-down table; a mechanism for supporting the up-and-down table vertically movably at an upward position roughly flush with the cylindrical bed and at least two downward positions of different height; and a mechanism for holding the up-and-down table at the upward position and the at least two downward positions, respectively.
