A plurality of triangular-shaped braces is removably secured to the bottom surface of the deck body. The braces including a first section that extends along an entire width of the deck body and a second section that engages a pontoon of the vessel. An electromechanical bracing unit is positioned along the bottom surface of the vessel and includes a linear actuator that moves an elongated rod between an extended and retracted position, and A power lifting unit transitions the deck body between the folded and extended positions.

The rack may thus be operable to securely hold up to two watersports boards (e.g., two wakesurf boards) without the usual wear and tear (e.g., dents and scrapes) that occurs from regular contact with the tines of current rack systems. The rack may thus increase the boat's capacity to securely store watersports boards while the boat is in motion, and due to the low profile, the rack will not substantially reduce headroom or require removal from a folding tower before folding the tower down for transporting and storing the boat.

The pontoons are connected together by stretch cords and a platform that allows the user to sit and rest after walking on the water. Pontoons have pockets at bottom for scoops, the scoops pass over water freely when pontoons are going forward, and drop down into water when opposite pontoon is going forward. When scoops are down into water they reduce the backward movement of pontoon. The front ends of pontoons are up and out of water like the bow on a boat. The apparatus can come apart for easy storing and transporting.

A joint is supplied joining lower ends of uprights of the tower to gunwales of the watercraft. The joint includes a follower element opposite a reference element with the reference fixed to the gunwale of the watercraft and the follower element fixed to the lower ends of the uprights of the tower. A pair of links, including a short link and a long link, join portions of the reference and portions of the follower. A driver is preferably provided between at least two of the elements of the joint, such as between the follower and the reference. The driver can supply an additional force to assist in raising and lowering of the tower relative to the watercraft.
