Abstract: A deck extender for a personal watercraft can include a deck member supported in a cantilevered configuration over an edge of the deck of the personal watercraft. The deck extender can include mounting sleeves fixed to an upper deck of a personal watercraft with mounting tabs of the deck member received within the mounting sleeves. The deck member can include mounting mechanisms having a receptacle and a pivoting cleat mounted above the receptacle configured for mounting accessories to the deck member. The deck member can have recessed channel members for mounting accessories.

Abstract: A water mat for a boat and a boat. The boat may be a pontoon boat. The water mat may include a cut-out. The cut-out may be formed in a forward side of the water mat, with the forward side of the water mat is connected to the stern of the boat such that the outboard motor is positioned in the cut-out of the water mat. A flexible connecting sheet, that is configured to connect the water mat with the boat, may be attached to a connection side of the water mat and extend along the connection side of the water mat.

Abstract: The Boating Accessory is a multi-use fastener designed to attach to various surfaces or objects on a boat. The Boating Accessory may include a body hingedly connected to an arm with a suction mechanism that can be used to secure a corner onto either fiberglass or window glass. The Boating Accessory may include a clip with a rounded portion that can be used to attach to most stainless handles or deck railing with a strong spring for clamping. The clip is useful in attaching to fabrics or hard roofs with a friction member at the contact point. The multi-use fastener may be used to secure a shade anywhere on a boat to immediately and effectively block the sun's rays. When the sun moves lower to the horizon, the multi-use fasteners can be quickly repositioned.

Abstract: A watercraft accessory operable to be secured to the deck of a paddleboard and provide storage of a plurality of items. The watercraft accessory of the present invention includes a housing having a top, bottom and a plurality of wall integrally formed to create an interior volume. A first storage compartment and a second storage compartment are secured within the rear wall and are slidably mounted thereto. A third storage compartment is secured to a side wall and is configured to provide additional storage. At least one storage compartment is sealably secured within the housing and another is thermally isolated. The housing further includes navigation lights and a bow light secured thereto. An audio player is further provided and the housing includes integral mounts to facilitate securing to the deck of the paddleboard. An internally located power supply provides the necessary electrical power.

Abstract: A mounting system for an image capture device that includes three pivotably connected arms is disclosed. The first arm includes a first fastener that is lockable and unlockable to allow for connection and disconnection of the image capture device, and a second fastener that is lockable and unlockable to regulate the position of the image capture device relative to the first arm. The mounting system further includes a third fastener that is lockable and unlockable to regulate the relative positioning between the first arm and the second arm, and a fourth fastener that is lockable and unlockable to regulate the relative positioning between the second arm and the third arm. Whereas the first fastener is removable, each of the second, third, and fourth fasteners is captive to (nonremovable from) the mounting system.

Abstract: In general, embodiments of this invention relate to methods, apparatuses, and systems for providing boat or ship protection from damages associated with vessel contact, allision, or other physical contact or with objects. Therefore a preferred embodiment of the invention is demonstrated as a fender system comprising: a base composed of a vertical back portion of cushioning material; a top foam portion of marine grade material; and a bottom foam portion of marine grade material where the top portion and the bottom portion are connected to the top and bottom of the back portion respectively; the top and bottom foam or marine grade material portion each having a connector to facilitate rotational connection to a fender; and a fender rotationally connected to the top and bottom portion.

Abstract: A barrier accessory device for a watercraft includes: an accessory connection base configured for having at least one accessory removably connected thereto; a first rail connector connected to the accessory connection base at a first end portion thereof, the first rail connector having a slot-engaging member configured to be inserted into a slot defined in one of an upper rail and a lower rail of a barrier structure of the watercraft; and a second rail connector connected to the accessory connection base at a second end portion thereof opposite the first end portion, the second rail connector having a locking assembly configured to be selectively locked onto an other one of the upper rail and the lower rail.

Abstract: A systemic dual motor framing for a watercraft is provided as is the overall system. The systemic dual motor framing is movable between a folded condition and an unfolded condition for attaching with the assistance of strapping to a stern of the watercraft, sleeve-like, either by sliding over the stern end or strapping around the stern. In the unfolded condition, the systemic dual motor framing facilities the strapping while maintaining a motor on each side of the watercraft, wherein the two motors can be selectively powered in conjunction remotely.

The hull assembly may have a mat compartment with the mat storage system configured to move the mat between a stored position, in which at least a portion of the mat is positioned in the mat compartment, and a deployed position. The mat compartment may be positioned beneath at least a portion of a floor of the hull assembly. The hull assembly may have a cover positioned adjacent the mat compartment and moveable between a closed position, in which it covers at least a portion of the mat compartment, and an open position. The mat storage system may have a motor that is configured to move the mat to a stored position.

A plurality of handles may be provided for each aft-facing seat, with one at an outboard side and another at an inboard side.

The braces including a first section that extends along an entire width of the deck body and a second section that engages a pontoon of the vessel. An electromechanical bracing unit is positioned along the bottom surface of the vessel and includes a linear actuator that moves an elongated rod between an extended and retracted position, and A power lifting unit transitions the deck body between the folded and extended positions.

Abstract: The present invention provides a watersports board rack for attaching to a support member (e.g., hanging down from an overhead support tower) of a boat. The rack may have a low profile, superior padding and an increased contact area compared to current rack systems, as well as at least one strap for securing the board against the padding and a coupler for attaching to the overhead support member. The rack may thus be operable to securely hold up to two watersports boards (e.g., two wakesurf boards) without the usual wear and tear (e.g., dents and scrapes) that occurs from regular contact with the tines of current rack systems. The rack may thus increase the boat's capacity to securely store watersports boards while the boat is in motion, and due to the low profile, the rack will not substantially reduce headroom or require removal from a folding tower before folding the tower down for transporting and storing the boat.

A drawer is mounted for vertical sliding movement into and out of the cabinet and defines a storage compartment movable between an open position and a closed position. Abstract: An autonomous watercraft with a waterproof container that houses a satellite communication terminal. The waterproof container includes a first shell mounted on a deck of the watercraft and that has a sealed first interior space that contains satellite communication circuitry of the terminal. The waterproof container also includes a second shell mounted under the deck of the watercraft and that has a sealed second interior space that contains the processing circuitry of the terminal. The first and second shells include ports configured to receive connectors for communication signaling and/or power. The first shell can also include a pressure port to pressurize the first interior space for use in leak detection. The shells can also include heat sinks to cool the satellite communication terminal.

The modular watercraft platform allows the user to convert a stock factory PWC to include a front support assembly and a rear platform assembly. The modular watercraft platform allowing for storage, transport, and mounting of various items and accessories, as well as facilitating recreational activities upon the front support assembly and/or the rear assembly.

The device further includes a top portion in communication with the body to locate and secure any of lighting strands, bulb sockets, and other items in relation to the roof member.

The attachment system generally comprises at least a locking mechanism mountable to, or integral with, the accessory, and a base mounted to, or integral with, the vehicle. The locking mechanism generally comprises an actuator configured to actuate or displace at least a pair of locking elements between an inoperative (or unlocked) position and an operative (or locked) position. The base generally comprises at least one opening configured to at least partially receive the locking mechanism. The attachment system generally allows the installation and removal of the accessory by actuating the actuator of the at least one locking mechanism.

Abstract: A method for providing lighting to a boat surface comprising providing an LED light source in a transparent disk and placing the disk on the boat surface in a location where the seat pedestal is to be mounted with the disk fastener openings aligned with the boat surface openings. The method includes connecting a power source to the light source, placing the seat pedestal on the transparent disk with the seat pedestal fastener openings aligned with the disk fastener openings and inserting the at least one fastener through the seat pedestal openings, disk openings and boat surface openings. The fastener secures the seat pedestal and disk to the boat surface wherein the transparent disk bears the weight of the seat pedestal. Upon providing power to the light source, light travels from the light source to the circumferential edge of the transparent disk, illuminating the area adjacent the seat pedestal.

Abstract: A mounting ring for securing a cup holder in an opening in a surface of a marine vessel. The mounting ring has a cylindrical wall and a flange extending from the ring for positioning about the surface around the opening. The mounting ring includes a plurality of braces extending downwardly from the flange, the braces comprising a plurality of legs extending downwardly from the cylindrical wall and a foot extending outwardly from the distal end of each leg at an acute angle to the leg. The mounting ring is placed in the opening and a cup holder is urged into the cup holder ring, the sides of the cup holder wall forcing the legs in a radially outwardly direction, securing the feet against an edge of the surface adjacent the boat opening. The mounting ring may include a protrusion disposed on an upper portion of each foot extending radially inwardly, the protrusion adapted to secure the outer surface of the cup holder wall in the mounting ring.

A brace is connected between the linear support and a lower portion of the pipe receptacle to provide additional support to position the pipe receptacle a distance away from a wall to which the linear support is to be secured.

The personal watercraft also has a motor, a jet propulsion system disposed at least in part in the tunnel, and a steering assembly. The deck has a pedestal, left and right gunnels, left and right foot-wells disposed laterally between the pedestal and their respective gunnel, and a rear platform. A straddle seat is disposed on the pedestal. Left and right footrests have left and right standing surfaces facing substantially forward and extending at least partially forward of the tunnel. The left footrest extends laterally between the pedestal and the left gunnel. The right footrest extends laterally between the pedestal and the right gunnel.

Abstract: A cable hanger for securing a cable to a supporting structure having an aperture includes: a base panel having opposed ends; a pair of arms, each of the arms attached to a respective end of the base panel and having a free end; and a pair of locking projections, each of the locking projections attached to a respective free end of the arms. The arms and locking projections are configured to spread apart to enable insertion of a cable into a space between the arms, and the locking projections are configured to be inserted into the aperture of the supporting structure. The cable hanger further includes: a pair of tabs extending inwardly from each arm into the space between the arms; and a gripping finger extending generally perpendicularly from each tab and generally tangentially to an outer surface of the cable.

Each of a right grill support and a left grill support of a pair of grill supports has a linear base rod and an upper support attached to a top surface of the base rod. The base rod of each of the right grill support and the left grill support is disposed within the cavity. A plurality of magnets is disposed within a middle segment of the upper support of each of the right grill support and the left grill support. At least one cup holder unit is disposed within the cavity of the float. A portable outdoor grill is removably securable to the plurality of magnets.

Abstract: A paddle holder includes a handle retention clip and a suction cup. The handle retention clip includes a lengthwise body and a pair of opposing lips. The lengthwise body includes an inner perimeter, which is sized to receive a handle of a paddle. The pair of opposing lips extend inward from opposing edges of the lengthwise body. The suction cup includes a suction cup portion and a mounting portion. The suction cup portion is retained on the mounting portion. The mounting portion is attached to the handle retention clip with two fasteners. The suction cup is preferably a twist lock suction cup. In use, the at least one suction cup is secured to a flat surface on a kayak, paddle board or the like.

Abstract: Disclosed is water craft providing inventive features to achieve a double-decked vessel having: a) substantially continuous, flat and open upper deck; b.) a substantially continuous and flat lower deck with an enclosed fore section and an exposed aft section forming a swim deck; and c.) a system of collapsible bulwarks in the upper and swim decks that permit the vessel to transition from a traditional configuration (better suited for travel) to an open configuration (better suited for entertainment activities while stationary).

Abstract: A towing apparatus comprises a structural assembly extending between opposing first and second bases for pivoting between operating and stored positions. A locking assembly includes a pin in each base and a hook carried at opposing ends of the structural assembly. A cam is pivotally connected to the hook for movement between locked and released positions. In the locked position, the hook is secured to the pin for preventing rotation of the structural assembly. In the released position, the hook is spaced from the pin to permit rotation of the structural assembly. The hook is rotatable with the cam from the released position to adjacent the pin by rotation of a shaft and slidable along the pin into the locking position by a continued shaft rotation. A cable is attached between the base and a spring within the structural assembly for biasing the structural assembly toward the operating position.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a wind-resistant container system includes a container including a receiving space and an opening that provides access to the receiving space. The system also includes a lid connected to the container that is movable between an open position, and a closed portion, wherein the lid substantially covers the opening. One or more closure elements are configured to selectively secure the lid in the closed portion such that the receiving space is protected from wind. The system further includes an anchoring system operably connected to the container and configured to anchor the container on a wall structure without forming a permanent hole in the wall structure. The anchoring system includes a front portion positionable on a first surface of the wall structure and a back portion positionable on a second surface of the wall structure.

There is also a flotation system, including float device, designed to be placed in the water on at least one side of the boat; and frame system, coupled to the boat at one end and to the float device at an opposite end, designed to hold the float device in a 1) deployed position where the float device is held in the water when a user is in the seat, and 2) partially deployed position where the float device is held a distance above the water level when a user is in the seat sufficient to enable the user to tip the boat a certain angle from a level position but to assist in preventing the boat from tipping completely over.

Abstract: An apparatus for stabilizing a watercraft, such as a kayak or canoe, for boarding or exiting, utilizing a paddle, comprising a quick insert/release paddle clamping device for mounting on a watercraft. The clamping device has laterally elongated jaws forming a C-shaped channel with a longitudinal slot for receiving a paddle shaft. The jaws have a deflectable lip portion configured to allow insertion and releasably retain the paddle shaft within the channel. The clamping device is mounted with the channel oriented horizontally and transverse to the fore-and-aft axis of the watercraft, with the slot disposed along a longitudinal side of the channel to allow insertion and removal the paddle shaft by fore-and-aft motion. Lateral spacing of paddle gripping regions minimizes twisting forces imposed on the clamping device when the outer end of the paddle engages an object to limit roll of the watercraft.
