Toothed Wheel Patents (Class 116/144)
  • Patent number: 7918309
Abstract: Herein taught is an apparatus for producing a continuous sonic boom that is simplified having few components. Namely, a motor, a rotating motor shaft, a rotor and a power source. The rotor is interconnected onto the rotating motor shaft, thus upon energizing, the motor rotates the rotor faster than the speed of sound resulting in production of a continuous sonic boom. Also, the rotor includes various configurations and the tips thereof are variable in shape and size. Furthermore, the apparatus is contained within different types of support means and also we provide a deflective sonic wave focal point projection mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5650684
Abstract: In a rotating body or machinery that is equipped with at least one such rotating body, the power loss resulting from the inertial force, which is an internal force caused by the rotation of the rotating body, contributes to mechanical inefficiency, as well as being the cause of unnecessary heat generation, unnecessary machine strength requirements, increased weight, and increased costs. Provided are low-loss machines and engines that essentially eliminate or greatly reduce the power loss due to the aforementioned inertial force. The rotating body of this invention, or machine which is equipped with at least one such rotating body, greatly reduces or essentially makes zero the power loss resulting from the inertial force generated by the rotating or rocking motion of the rotating body due to its poor mass distribution. This inertial force is an internal force of a new concept which excludes the centrifugal force.

  • Patent number: 4055914
Abstract: The sound producing device is adapted to be mounted on the handlebars of a bicycle and can produce sound which will simulate the sounds of an internal combustion engine such as is used in a motorcycle. The device includes a housing and an elongated handle rotatably mounted therein for driving a transmission system including a striker which cyclically strikes a resonator cone to produce the desired noise. The transmission system also includes a one-way clutch which will transmit rotary movement of the handle to the striker only when the handle is rotated in a first direction about its longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 3999626
Abstract: A seismic generator for communicating from either above or below the surface of the earth is disclosed. The generator includes a system of eccentrically weighted masses such as, for example, unbalanced flywheels, which can be rotated to produce a seismic signal capable of being detected at great distances either on the surface or underground.
