  • Patent number: 10054346
Abstract: Method of determining the presence of incondensable gases in a climate station cylinder for recharging motor vehicle air conditioning systems. One of the pressure sensors will be used that is present in the charging station and designed for monitoring the operations in the A/C system of the vehicle, placed on the low pressure LP and/or high pressure HP lines of the climate station, so that in case of verification of the incondensable gases, the control electronics opens a coolant charging valve and an HP/LP separating valve, thereby flooding the service pipes so as to receive the pressure signal from one of the service pressure sensors, LP or HP, of the station, and compare the value with the temperature T of the cylinder and check whether such pair of values is a corresponding parameter, without tolerances, of a pressure-temperature curve of the pure coolant.

  • Patent number: 9617709
Abstract: A work vehicle includes a vehicular body, a work implement, an angle sensor, and a work implement control unit. A bucket is rotatable with respect to an arm around a bucket axis in parallel to an arm axis and a tilt axis orthogonal to a bucket axis. The angle sensor is provided in the bucket and detects an angle of inclination of the bucket with respect to a horizontal plane. The work implement control unit starts control of the work implement in which an operation of the work implement is controlled at least partially automatically when an angle of inclination of the bucket detected by the angle sensor is smaller than a first threshold value, and does not start control of the work implement when an angle of inclination of the bucket detected by the angle sensor is equal to or greater than the first threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9188500
Abstract: A fault indicator for indicating the occurrence of a rapid pressure surge within a housing of an electrical device has: a barrel capable of being mounted in an aperture of the housing; an actuating mechanism having a chamber with at least one orifice communicating between interior and exterior surfaces of the chamber within the housing and an actuating member movable in response to a pressure differential between the interior and exterior surfaces of the chamber; a plunger within the bore of the barrel biased outwardly in the barrel and normally retained in an armed position by the actuating member; and a radial seal disposed between the plunger and the barrel. When the pressure differential exceeds a positive threshold value, the actuating member is moved and thereby permits the plunger to move outwardly into a triggered position. The radial seal may be a dual-lip seal.

  • Patent number: 8471716
Abstract: Signaling methods and apparatuses are described for preventing flood irrigation water from overflowing in a trench, field, or other area. Signaling devices may include indicators such as a reflector, a flag, a light, or a sound device provided on an end of an elongate member having its opposite end engaged with the ground. A stake is driven into the ground near the elongate member in the trench or other area where water will flow. A breakaway link such as a strip of paper is engaged to either the indicator or the elongate member and also to the stake, causing the elongate member to be bent downward, with the breakaway link located in the trench where water will flow. When exposed to the flow of water, the breakaway link weakens and eventually tears such that the elongate member springs upward carrying the indicator with it, signaling an operator that water has reached that location in the trench.

  • Patent number: 4612872
Abstract: A method of operating an expandable chamber formed with a valve opening in a wall of the chamber, which permits the surrounding environment, such as high temperature steam, to enter the chamber is used. A temperature responsive delay valve closes the chamber to capture a quantity of the steam in an autoclave sterilizing cycle. The closing of the valve is delayed until the high temperature steam has been applied for a predetermined time. A later reduction in pressure surrounding the chamber causes the chamber to expand, which provides an indication that an adequate sterilizing cycle has been provided. The expansion force may also be used to permit a container to close at the end of a sterilizing cycle.

  • Patent number: 4246110
Abstract: A temperature compensating device is disclosed for use in a filter contaminant warning system in a tractor or similar machine. The temperature compensating device is hydraulically connected between the hydraulic filter element inlet and the pressure responsive filter contaminant indicator switch in the warning system. Pressurized fluid from the inlet side of the filter element enters the temperature compensating device through an elongated capillary, and the fluid is discharged simultaneously through a port to the filter contaminant indicator switch and through an orifice to a reservoir. When the fluid is cold and has high viscosity, a substantial part of the total fluid pressure drop between the filter inlet and indicator switch occurs in the capillary portion of the compensating device. The remaining portion of the pressure loss occurs in the orifice.
