Plural Scales Patents (Class 116/231)
  • Patent number: 10125976
Abstract: A sludge lance for a tube and shell steam generator that has a central divider plate that extends substantially the length of a central tube lane substantially bisecting a hand hole through which the tube lane can be accessed. The sludge lance has a nozzle with a spring biased, reciprocally movable plunger that extends against the divider plate and is locked in position by a stream of high pressure cleaning fluid that traverses the nozzle and exits through jets to clean sludge from between the tubes. An alignment tool with a swing arm indexes the jets to assure they are properly aligned with the tube rows and spaced from the divider plate.

  • Patent number: 9616499
Abstract: A vertical rim trimming machine has a base, a horizontal sliding stand, a vertical sliding stand, a cutter turret, a bottom stand and a fixture. The horizontal sliding stand is mounted on and can horizontally move with respect to the base. The vertical sliding stand is mounted on and can vertically move with respect to the horizontal sliding stand. The cutter turret is mounted on the vertical sliding stand. The bottom stand is mounted on the base. The fixture is mounted on the bottom stand. Thus, the horizontal sliding stand horizontally moves with respect to the base stably and the vertical sliding stand vertically moves with respect to the horizontal sliding stand stably, such that the structure of the vertical rim trimming machine becomes firmer and the stability of trimming is improved.

  • Patent number: 5355704
Abstract: For adjusting of three caliber opening rollers or guiding rolls, a light source is arranged on the one side of the roller or guiding roll, a device is located at another side of the roller or the guiding roll and receives a shadow image of a caliber contour and has a turnable, displaceable and arrestable bar template. The bar template has at least one polygon which corresponds to the number of rollers or guiding rolls of a caliber and sides which are offset from one another with the same angular position as rotary axes of the rollers or guiding rolls, and center points of inscribed circles of several such polygons are located on one another.

  • Patent number: 4561565
Abstract: A material metering device having a discrete flow rate adjustment and indicator mechanism. The indicator includes an actuator knob which is rotated to adjust the flow rate of material from the meter. The actuator knob is also operably connected to a follower wheel which is rotated by movement of the actuator knob. Indicia on both the actuator knob and follower wheel are simultaneously registerable with a reference point, such as a viewing window, and the reading of the indicia at the reference point indicates the flow rate of material from the meter.

  • Patent number: 4485704
Abstract: A measuring attachment is shown for use on a lathe or other machine tool which includes a pair of parallel bars or slots, one associated with the saddle of the lathe and the other associated with the cross slide. Mounted upon the parallel bars (or within the slots) are a pair of blocks each including a latching arm that latches each block to one bar or the other. A single stop is mounted on the first block, while a group of several stops may be mounted upon the second block. When an outer diameter is to be cut, the several stops may be attached to the bar mounted upon the radially fixed saddle. In this arrangement, the shortest of the several stops is used as the center line reference against which the single stop engages. The longest of the several stops provides the reference for the first outer diameter cut. When an inner diameter cut is to be made, the block mounting the several stops may be attached to the bar which is mounted upon the cross slide.
