Abstract: A combination system for feeding and watering livestock has an elongated water trough which is sloped to provide for the slow flow of drinking water positioned adjacent to an elongated feed bunk of comparable length. A series of vertically oriented lockable stanchions completes the structure. A water supply is provided along with discharge water collection and recycling and filtering devices are also provided to insure a continuous supply of suitable drinking water to livestock who are feeding from the feed bunk.
Abstract: In some embodiments, a trailer feeder system may include a trailer. The trailer may transport animals during use. The trailer may include a first container which contains, during use, animal feed. The first container may include a dispensing mechanism for dispensing feed in the first container to a surface adjacent the trailer. The trailer may include a transport ramp. The transport ramp may connect the first container to an opening in a cover. The transport ramp may include a plurality of openings. The trailer may include a second container which functions to contain animal feed. In some embodiments, the plurality of openings may be sized to allow feed of a predetermined size and smaller to be conveyed from the opening to the second container. In some embodiments, the trailer may include a transport mechanism which functions to elevate a bale of hay off of a surface.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and device for providing water to livestock during transport in a trailer that is being towed behind a vehicle. In the disclosed embodiments, each stall of the trailer is equipped with one or more transferable animal transport watering assemblies that allows each animal to have their own on-demand access to water. Each watering assembly is releasably mounted with a quick release bracket and quick-connect pressurized water supply, facilitating easy transfer of the watering assembly to an external mount point on the trailer so that the animals have continued access to the water supply when the trailer is parked.

Abstract: An array of shipping containers and systems for transporting livestock on shipping vessels over extended periods including systems for distributing drinking water and electricity from common resources to an array of shipping containers, where the array of shipping containers can include interconnected shipping containers and/or stacked shipping containers carrying livestock.
Abstract: A method of producing shipping containers for transporting livestock on shipping vessels over extended periods including methods of modifying shipping containers to include water distribution, feed distribution, temperature control, air movement, and waste management features.
Abstract: A vehicle for livestock transportation has a self-supporting structure that forms a load compartment delimited by two opposite lateral walls, a front frame, a rear frame, a lower base, a roof, and a lift platform with a load base joined to guide pillars by mobile pieces that slide alongside the guide pillars. The guide pillars are fixed onto the rear frame. The load base has the capacity to slide vertically alongside the guide pillars, keeping a horizontal position during movement, and tilt with respect to joint points located in the mobile pieces.
Abstract: A drop down feed door for a trailer having a sidewall with a trailer frame defining a trailer access opening. The feed door including a frame assembly adapted to be hinged to the sidewall of the trailer and a window assembly having a window frame and a light transmitting pane supported by the window frame. The window frame having a flange and the window assembly positioned in the window receiving opening of the frame assembly with the flange of the window assembly overlapping one side of the frame assembly along the circumference of the window receiving opening. A connecting member is connected to the window frame of the window assembly and extended over an adjacent portion of the frame assembly so as to secure the window assembly within the window receiving opening of the frame assembly.

Abstract: A mobile livestock feeder is provided, comprising a dual-axle gooseneck hitch trailer with two parallel troughs and a storage unit, a hinged gate, a mineral feeder connected to the rear of the trailer, a fly dust bag above the mineral feeder, a fly oil holding tank supplying a rope wick-style automatic oiler, and two heavy duty jacks to level the trailer. The mobile livestock feeder has particular utility in connection with providing a large portable feed capacity along with minerals and fly control.
Abstract: A shipping container for shipping livestock includes a structural main body having a floor, side walls, a closed end wall, a gated end wall, and a roof, all enclosing an interior space. The interior space of the main body is selectively apportioned by one or more gates into one or more stalls for livestock. Each gate has an integral door. As well, a storage member is provided to accommodate the storage of a sufficient quantity of feed to permit substantially self-sufficient operation of the container during shipment over long distances.
