The fixed section of the upper compartment is removably attached to the lower compartment, and the swingable section is removably attached to the lower compartment and swingably attached to the fixed section. Access to the pet kennel is provided when the swingable section is swung to an open position.

The handle is attached to the top of the cage-like enclosure. Two of the four wheels are attached to the bottom near the front end and two of the four wheels are attached to the bottom near the rear end of the cage-like enclosure. The cage-like enclosure simulates a vehicle-form such as for example a school bus or a fire truck.

The pet bed apparatus includes a carrier device that defines a bedding space thereof sized and dimensioned to accommodate a domestic pet therein. The pet bed apparatus further includes a mounting assembly having a support platform configured to vertically support the of the carrier device thereatop, and a frame assembly coupled to the support platform. The frame assembly can be moved between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the deployed position, portions of the frame assembly cooperate with the bed assembly for side mounting thereto. The carrier device can be removed from the mounting assembly, which enable independent functionality as a pet carrier.

When the zippers are in the closed position, the top, bottom and middle portions form an enclosed area. Once inserted, the distal end is cinched against the cinch loop and then coupled to the cinch strap. The garment consists of a see-through, mesh washable fabric panel on top and a brightly colored washable panel underneath, attached to each other using releasable fasteners. The fasteners also provide means to construct tunnel walls and nesting areas for the small animal. The fasteners further provide attachment to the garment tunnel's floor and walls for toys and other paraphernalia to entertain the pet and adorn the garment. This garment allows the owner to hold, observe, and transport his pet without damaging or soiling his clothes while his pet has a tunnel in which to play and rest safely. Also the owner can remove toys, food and nesting material in order to launder the garment.

As the support members are semi-rigid, the roof of the enclosure may be resiliently deformed as needed, such as for placing the carrier under a passenger airline seat. Removal of the support members allows a user to collapse the pet carrier to a substantially flat configuration. The pet carrier may be carried by a pet owner via a six-point shoulder strap system that is capable of levelling the carrier during use. The pet carrier also has several openings to provide ventilation and a compartment that communicates with the inside of the carrier for inserting an air conditioning pad.
