Abstract: A foldable pet house includes a frame composed of a first side panel, a second side panel, a third side panel, and a fourth side panel connected end to end, a top cover connected at a top of the frame, and a bottom panel connected at a bottom of the frame. The first side panel and the third side panel are foldable and opposite to each other, and the second side panel and the fourth side panel are not foldable and opposite to each other. A positioning assembly is provided between the top cover and the top of the frame to limit a relative movement between the frame and the top cover. An opening is provided on the side panel for cleaning. A rotating connector is used for the connection of foldable side panels or other parts and components of the pet house.

The fastening holes are blind holes that do not breach, penetrate or pass-through panels defining the crate so that the crate remains watertight or sealed or leakproof. The fastening holes may be arranged to provide points of intersection for rules or guides that define a grid to aid in mounting components, mounts and accessories at desired locations. Outer fastening holes are provided in a repeating pattern and superimposed on inner fastening holes. The fastening holes provide for ease of customization without the need for drilling.

A sheet of flexible material may be incorporated, with a first end secured to the at least a frame and a second end secured to the at least a frame. The sheet of flexible material, shelf, and/or first or second vertical wall may have one or more openings sized to permit passage of a small animal such as a cat.

An electric fan, mounted to one of the panels, becomes energized in response to presence of an animal within the enclosure. Each of the top, front, rear, left and right panels is sized to allow all of the panels to be stacked between and enclosed within the top and bottom panels, to collapse the container for transport and storage.

Abstract: A method of using a reconfigurable pet enrichment system to help pets fulfill their natural behaviors is provided. The system can be arranged to facilitate an environment that helps stimulate, entertain, and exercise a pet, and also provides a defensible space for napping, resting, or sleeping. The system can be constructed from two pieces of pliable material: a base component and a top-covering component attached to the base component by means of semi-permanent fasteners to create a variety of forms such as ripples, nooks and tunnels. The top component can contain several openings of different sizes. Openings appeal to a pet's predatory nature, as the openings provide a source of stimulation and interaction. The system may also be configured with a plurality of members attached via semi-permanent fasteners.

A gap is defined between the inner and outer walls. The gap is filled with a gas such as air in some embodiments. In other embodiments, the gap is filled with a filler material such as foam or polymer material. The animal enclosure includes an upper housing member and a lower housing member in some embodiments. The upper and lower housing members may be secured together using one or more fasteners to form the animal enclosure. Abstract: A system and method for deterring animal interaction with woody plants is provided, including a wire mesh cage. The wire mesh cage is formed from one of a sheet of steel wire mesh and a stake cage. The sheet of wire mesh may be formed into a tubular configuration to surround a plant in need of the protection. The stake cage may be formed from a plurality of uprights arranged around a periphery of a plant, and at least one filament wound around the plurality of uprights to form the wire mesh. The wire mesh cage may further include a protective covering, in the form of a cap or coating applied to a top surface of the wire mesh cage. The protective covering militates against damage to a plant surrounded by the wire mesh cage. The protective covering may be formed from a polymeric compound having an animal detracting additive and an ultraviolet inhibitor.

As a result, the animal containment panel can be assembled by, for example, a consumer such that the animal containment panel can be shipped prior to assembly.
