Abstract: This invention provides a cat scratching post with removable and/or interchangeable panels. The cat scratching post has a base, a column to house scratching panels, and a top cover. The top cover and the base are attached to the column by a nut and screw. The areas used for scratching may be exchanged as needed by simply removing the top and sliding the panel up and out and then turning it around to expose the other side. The panels may also be clipped together and attached to the column. Additional panels are stored inside the column. The panels may have different materials, colors and themes. The top cover serves a bed, which is removable for easy cleaning and is also reversible. There are also four corner pieces, which have hard plastic bumps so that the cat may rub and scratch its body. The corner pieces are also removable.

Abstract: An exercise pad for declawed cats utilizes corrugated cardboard or similar materials formed into a pad having a ledge and rims designed to allow a declawed cat to properly scratch, stretch and exercise. The corrugations are stacked vertically and a rectangular block is created. On three sides of the block, a ledge is formed. This creates a tiered appearance and provides the cat with multiple edges or rims upon which to hook its paws. These specially provided rims provide the declawed cat some texture that gives a unique resistant yet satisfying “give” to the paws when used in the normal scratching action. The ledge can be formed on two sides and an overhang created on the other two sides so regardless of whether the top or bottom is face-up, the cat has access to both the rims created by the ledge and the overhang edges.

Abstract: The cat climbing apparatus provides for cats to scratch, stretch, climb, and position themselves at an elevated height. The sturdiness of the apparatus mounting brackets insures cat use, as cats hesitate or simply refuse to use scratching and climbing posts that are not sturdily anchored, one reason why cats often choose furniture over poorly designed cat implements. The apparatus provides for a user to arrange tubes, angles, and at least one platform as desired, thereby best fitting spaces available as well as providing aesthetic appeal and cat intrigue. The rope wrap of the tubes is durable and inviting to a cat.
