Abstract: A method of using a reconfigurable pet enrichment system to help pets fulfill their natural behaviors is provided. The system can be arranged to facilitate an environment that helps stimulate, entertain, and exercise a pet, and also provides a defensible space for napping, resting, or sleeping. The system can be constructed from two pieces of pliable material: a base component and a top-covering component attached to the base component by means of semi-permanent fasteners to create a variety of forms such as ripples, nooks and tunnels. The top component can contain several openings of different sizes. Openings appeal to a pet's predatory nature, as the openings provide a source of stimulation and interaction. The system may also be configured with a plurality of members attached via semi-permanent fasteners.

Abstract: A wall-mounted scratch post assembly for cats includes a mounting plate affixed to a vertical surface, the mounting plate including a wall-facing surface mounted against the vertical surface, a post-facing surface facing away from the vertical surface, a first attachment mechanism affixing the mounting plate to the vertical surface, and a second attachment mechanism attached to the post-facing surface. The assembly includes a scratch post, wherein the scratch post includes a proximal end attached to the mounting plate, wherein the proximal end includes a proximal surface formed to fit against the post-facing surface and a third attachment mechanism that attaches to the second attachment mechanism, a distal end opposite the proximal end and facing away from the vertical surface, a support structure connecting the proximal end to the distal end, and a fibrous covering coating the support structure.

Each of the mounts releasably engages the stand thereby retaining the scratch pads on the stand.

Abstract: A claw scratcher system is provided having a block of corrugated cardboard material contained within a packaging housing. The packaging housing is formed having a containment bottom hingedly connected to a folding front face. The front face pivots from a first position, where it covers and contains the corrugated cardboard material, and rotates to the rear. The front face further has an extension leg 100 formed therein such that the housing has a dual functionality in forming an angular extension mechanism for presenting the scratcher in an inclined condition.

Abstract: A window play toy for cats and pets has a plastic housing with an elongated curvilinear interior space. The plastic housing has a number of openings. A first pinching slot is attached to the first end of the plastic housing and a second pinching slot is attached to the second end of the plastic housing. A pair of suction cups engage the pair of pinching slots. A ball engages the curvilinear interior space and is trapped between the window and the plastic housing. In one case, the housing is attached to window using an adhesive tape and in this case no pinching slots are required.

Abstract: A cat scratcher and activity center is in the form of a rectangular box having a top, bottom and four sidewalls creating an interior space, the top being detachable and completely removable from the rectangular box. A rectangular block of corrugated cardboard is sized to fit within and occupy the interior space, the cardboard block having an open fluted surface which is exposed upon removal of the top. A planar cardboard toy kit is sized to reside within the interior space atop the open fluted surface of the rectangular block of corrugated cardboard, the planar cardboard toy kit being convertible to a three-dimensional configuration appendable to one of the four sidewalls.

The step platforms are disposed circumferentially and at a different height about the plurality of leg so that a cat may step up the step platforms and into the litter box.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a gaming device for pets, which is exclusively used for pets to play games. The gaming device for pets comprises a base, an upper cover, a power supply assembly, a drive assembly, a hanging bracket, and a rotary disc. The base and the upper cover are connected in a snap-fit engagement form a hollow cavity, the power supply assembly and the drive assembly are fixedly provided on the base of the hollow cavity, and the periphery of the hanging bracket is fixedly connected to the rotary disc. The present invention allows, via a control chip, recreational products to be revealed and hidden in notches of the upper cover. In addition, because the rotary disc flies up to rotate in the air, the problem that the rotary disc is in dry friction with others during rotation is fundamentally solved, thereby extending the service life of the product.

Abstract: A cat scratcher is either in the form of a rigid support and cat scratcher surface or in the form of a body of corrugated cardboard. The corrugated cardboard body typically has a plurality of corrugated subparts, each corrugated subpart being a corrugated sheet having top and bottom surfaces and planar sheets of kraft paper adhered thereto through the use of an aqueous-based adhesive, the aqueous-based adhesive including a catnip or silver vine hydrosol. This same adhesive can be used to adhere a cat scratcher surface to its rigid support.

Abstract: A combination claw scratcher product for domestic pets with a scratching surface that includes a textured surface and a cork-catnip composite material surface created by being molded, compressed, extruded or similarly processed into small or large bodies or sheets and allow for the economic manufacture of said combination claw scratcher product. The cork-catnip composite material surface allows for the delivery of an aromatic attractant for encouraging pet interaction, low manufacture cost for the product and longer life of the product.

Adhesive is disposed on at least a portion of an inward facing surface of both said front and rear portions. A greeting card may be secured between adhesive on the front and rear portions. The secured card may be secured to an elongated handle of a gift bag. The card attachment device has a perforation allowing portions to be separated from one another and used in combination to secure a greeting card to a package without elongated handles.

The liquid-permeable panel covers the excrement containment section of the system toilet for animals. Of the aforementioned panel, the side-surface 1 cm compression deformation load, which is the load necessary for at least 1 cm of torsion to arise with respect to load from the side-surface direction that is perpendicular to the direction of thickness of the panel, is at least 5 N and no greater than 20 N. Preferably, the liquid-permeable panel has a plurality of holes that penetrate the liquid-permeable panel in the direction of thickness, and has as a material corrugated cardboard in which liquid goes through the aforementioned plurality of holes, passing through in the direction of thickness of the aforementioned liquid-permeable panel.

Dried and granulated catnip (or similar olfactory attractant) is blended with a fill material such as powdered or granulated agglomerate cork material are then mixed with a bonding agent. Lignosulfates bonding agents can be used, as well polyurethane food grade adhesives such as urethane, melaminic and phenolic resins.

Abstract: A support beam for a pet furniture includes a plurality of back plates, first hooks, second hooks and third hooks. Upper end and lower end of the back plate are formed with an insertion slot and a protrusion respectively. One side of the back plate is formed with a plurality of engaging troughs for allowing the first hooks and the third hooks to be disposed therein. The third hook is engaged with the first hook. By this structure, a shelf plate, a cat house and a cat ladder can be mounted onto the back plate by means of the engagement between the second hook and the third hook. Then, the back plate is fixed to a wall. In this way, the support beam for a pet furniture is obtained.

Abstract: A multiple use modular apparatus for animals having a tower and a base is disclosed that is light weight, easily assembled and reconfigured, and ballast is added inside the tower and base to stabilize the apparatus. The tower is inserted into the base in a very snug interference fit, and the tower has tiers of rows of recesses around its periphery facing in different directions. Shelf pieces of different sizes and shapes and having protrusions extending from one edge are utilized. The protrusions of the shelf pieces are inserted into the recesses in the side of the tower in a snug interference fit to firmly hold the shelf pieces to the sides of the tower. The shelf pieces may be fastened to the tower in a wide variety of configurations to create steps, walkways and platforms. Pieces of carpet or other material may be fastened to the sides of the tower and to the tops of the shelves, walkways and platforms. The modular apparatus may be used by an animal for exercise, play and resting.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a customizable modular pet house and entertainment system. In one general embodiment of the invention, a pet house comprises a module formed from a sheet of self-supporting material. The module comprises a top panel, a bottom panel, and four side panels. At least one of the panels may have at least one of a removable transition panel, a removable door panel, and perimeter of a removable window panel. Optional accessories include a top accessory panel, a side accessory panel, and an accessory bracket. More than one modular pet house may be joined together to form an extended structure. Embodiments of the invention have interior spaces and apertures sized for admittance of a common house cat.

The pet furniture includes a lower cap sized to define the base of the pet furniture, a plurality of side clips for removable insertion within said lower cap, the side clips substantially defining the height of the pet furniture. A plurality of structural side walls are provided for removable engagement with the lower cap and side clips, at least one of the structural side walls having an opening sized to enable a pet to enter and exit the pet furniture once assembled. An upper cap is provided for removable engagement with the side clips and structural side walls and lower support discs and upper support discs complete the pet furniture which are each supported by and removable from the lower cap and upper cap, respectively.

Abstract: An animal toy features the ability to connect two or more separate toys of varying shape, size, color, and/or texture, together to create larger and more complex toy systems. The animal toy allows an almost endless variety of toy systems to capture the interest as well as challenge and develop the animal's problem solving skills. The animal toy is either solid or include internal chambers for holding and ultimately dispensing food. When two or more toys with the internal chambers are combined the food may flow from the chamber of one toy into another toy several times before exiting the toy system. The increased problem of extracting the food challenges and develops the animal's skills. Moreover, by combining solid and food dispensing toys in random combinations further increases the problem solving skills required to completely extract the food from the toy system.

Abstract: A cat scratcher that includes encapsulated cat claw abrading grit layers that can dull claws of a cat using the cat scratcher and which are interleaved throughout a scratching block of the cat scratcher. The encapsulated grit layer may define a self-contained unit in which grit particles are encapsulated between a pair of backing sheets so that substantially none of the grit particles are exposed or visible. The encapsulated grit layer may include a sandpaper strip that has a sandpaper backing sheet and grit particles that are bonded to the sandpaper backing sheet and define a gritty surface of the sandpaper strip that faces away from the sandpaper backing sheet. Abstract: Present invention disclosed and claimed an easy to assemble exercise and play tower for animals, where a plurality of support plates are place in between a top and bottom plate, set up by a 3-post structure; an outer shield will be used to wrap up the skeletal structure and zipped snug in place by a vertical zipper and a horizontal zipper on top. At least some portion of the outer shield contains mesh type structure, to provide good ventilation.

Abstract: The present invention provides an improved structure for a cat scratch board, which is structured to include an abrasive surface and at least one fastening structure, and claw filing wire material is horizontally arranged to cover the abrasive surface and an appropriate surface of a plate. A plurality of fastening units fasten the claw filing wire material to the plate to form the abrasive surface. The fastening structure is installed to the other surface from the abrasive surface of the plate, and the fastening structure is structured from a locking member and a connecting member. The locking member functions in coordination with the connecting member for clamping. A clamping space is formed between the fastening structure and the plate.

Abstract: A musical scratching toy for pets is disclosed. The shape and decorative surfaces of the toy are designed to resemble a musical instrument or music-making device. Scratching elements are positioned on the toy, and are made from materials that are designed to encourage scratching behavior from pets. Electronic sensors are positioned underneath the scratching elements and are designed to detect scratching behavior. When an animal scratches the scratching surface of the toy, the sensors trigger pre-recorded, electronic musical output. In some embodiments, the toy includes a controller configured to select any number of styles of musical output.

The two-dimensional appliqué is adapted for flush attachment to the wall and includes a graphical representation of at least a portion of a support structure. The at least one shelf provides a perch for a pet and is visually associated with the support structure of the two-dimensional appliqué such that the at least one shelf appears to be supported by the support structure in a two-dimensional view.

The structure comprises a central main living unit that connects to a rectangular litter housing member by means of hollow tubes. A multi-tiered unit is disposed on top the main living unit. The top tier of this unit connects to the first tube by means of a slanted second tube. An entrance/exit member provides access to the structure. This member is connected to the bottom tier of the multi-tiered unit by a third tube. The tiers connect to one another by means of stairs.

Abstract: This invention provides a cat scratching post with removable and/or interchangeable panels. The cat scratching post has a base, a column to house scratching panels, and a top cover. The top cover and the base are attached to the column by a nut and screw. The areas used for scratching may be exchanged as needed by simply removing the top and sliding the panel up and out and then turning it around to expose the other side. The panels may also be clipped together and attached to the column. Additional panels are stored inside the column. The panels may have different materials, colors and themes. The top cover serves a bed, which is removable for easy cleaning and is also reversible. There are also four corner pieces, which have hard plastic bumps so that the cat may rub and scratch its body. The corner pieces are also removable.

Abstract: A cat claw trimming and exercise device permitting a cat to physically exercise both its legs and trim its claws simultaneously. The cat claw trimming and exercise device comprises a vertical post, a flat base, and a sandpaper cartridge. The flat base has a textured surface permitting a cat to stabilize itself using its back legs while using the device. The sandpaper cartridge is removably installable and has a cardboard tube with a hollow inner volume and a surface coating. Further, a kit is disclosed comprising: a replaceable sandpaper cartridge, a user instruction manual, and a cat claw trimming and exercise device. A method of use is also disclosed for using the present invention.
