Combined Sole And Upper Machines Patents (Class 12/4.1)
  • Patent number: 8372234
Abstract: A method of manufacturing footwear includes providing a modular forepart and a modular rearpart, overlapping these parts along an overlap margin a preselected distance, and permanently joining the parts to selectively manufacture footwear of at least two different sizes, for example, a full size or a half size or some other partial size. The forepart and rearpart can be injection molded from one or more polymeric materials in a mold. The polymeric materials can be bonded to a sheet of material which can be at least partially retained in a three-dimensional, contoured shape by the polymeric material. The molded polymeric material can form a supportive and/or structural exoskeleton in an upper portion of the footwear. The exoskeleton can define one or more holes through which the sheet is visible to form one or more aesthetic regions on the upper. An article of footwear constructed with the method is also provided.

Abstract: Abstract: The method according to the present invention and the device (1) used to implement said method for wrapping or enveloping a galosh which is also named as an overshoe, around a footwear, have been developed in order to avoid the bacteria, microbes, dust, mud and other dirt particles that may be found on the soles of the footwear, from being carried into and the areas with hygienic requirements. With said device (1), the sole and the side walls (side vamps) of the footwear are wrapped with a film (21) by a method, wherein warm air is blown at a suitable flow rate towards said sole and side vamps of the footwear, which causes said film (21) to shrink and cover said solve and side vamps of the footwear by wrapping them up when it comes into contact wit the film.

Abstract: A secondary vulcanized graph structure of a rubber product is proposed in this invention. A rubber pieces with graph or color is first patterned after a first vulcanization process, then the rubber piece is positioned in a mold, a transparent or opaque raw rubber material is then filled in the mold and after a compress and secondary vulcanization process. The patterned rubber main body is attached with the rubber piece. The rubber piece is then firmly attached to the top or bottom of the transparent rubber main body. In the other way, the rubber piece could also be attached to the bottom of the opaque rubber main body.
