Abstract: Two-in-one cosmetic systems having a tweezer removably disposed in a handle are disclosed. The tweezer may be removably disposed in a handle of the applicator, such that the tweezer is restrained and a pinching tip of the tweezer is in a closed position. By virtue of having a tweezer restrained and having a pinching tip in a closed position, the pinching tip of the tweezers remain sharp and undamaged until a time of use.
Abstract: The flexible tube is filled with a substance which expands on contact with water. The tube is wholly or partly of a material which loses consistency on contact with water, enabling the substance to expand. The filled tube is insertable into an energy transportation or telecommunications cable.
Abstract: A comb and mirror-tray assembly which when in a storage mode the mirror-tray then acts to protect the comb nested therein. In a combing mode, the user who has withdrawn the comb from the mirror-tray can then view her hair in the mirror as she combs it. And in an easel mode in which the comb acts as a stand for the mirror-tray, the user may then view her face in the mirror as she applies makeup thereto. The tray, which is generally rectangular in form and has the mirror secured to its bed, is surrounded by a peripheral wall, a transverse slot being formed in the bed between the end of the mirror and the wall. In the storage mode, the comb snaps into the tray to overlie the mirror, the comb being withdrawn from the tray in the combing mode. In the easel mode, the comb is inserted in the transverse slot to serve as a stand forming an angle with the mirror-tray to support it on a table or other surface.
Abstract: A grooming device in the form of a comb element, especially a pocket comb element, having coarse teeth on one end and fine teeth on the other end and a back portion extending along the root ends of the teeth. A brush element is carried on the comb near the inner ends of the fine teeth so that the comb can serve for combing the hair but, also, for brushing. The comb element may also have stiff bristles for use as a nail brush, or an additional nail brush element can be provided. The back portion of the comb may also carry a mirror element and/or a strip of abrasive material or a file element and may also be recessed for detachably receiving a coin, such as a dime. The comb may have a pocket clip connected to the back portion.
