Abstract: A hairstyling tool for attaching various hair articles to a banded ponytail by inserting a bead that is attached to a hair article, through a banded ponytail center axis. The very center axis of a banded ponytail has a lot of tension. If a bead, or similar tapered device, is pushed through the banded ponytail center axis, toward a person's scalp, it locks into place. If a hair article is attached to an end of the bead, the hair article stays secured to the ponytail.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a hair styling tool for padding a hair bundle, comprising: a base, an elastic padding, an adornment structure, and a contact layer. The base has an upper surface, a lower surface, and an opening passing from the upper surface to the lower surface. The elastic padding is disposed on a portion of the upper surface of the base. The adornment structure is disposed on another portion of the upper surface of the base. The contact layer is disposed on the lower surface of the base. A first hair section of the hair bundle covers the elastic padding and is padded thereby. A second hair section of the hair bundle passes through the opening and is pressed by the contact layer, such that the adornment structure is exposed above the second hair section.

Abstract: A hairpiece for positioning on a person's head and augmenting her natural hair includes a first layer of material having a plurality of hair strands attached thereto. A second layer of material has a plurality of hair strands stylized in a different manner than the hair strands attached to the first layer. The first and second layers are attached to each other. The hairpiece can be worn in a first position in which the second layer is adjacent to the wearer's head and the plurality of hair strands attached to the first layer extend outwardly from the wearer's head. When desired the hairpiece can be removed from the wearer's head and inverted so that the first layer is adjacent to the wearer's head and the hair strands on the second layer extend outwardly from the wearer's head.

Abstract: A hair piece of the present invention includes a comb portion formed from a flexible polymeric material. The comb includes a top portion presenting a track or female connector and a plurality of teeth extending radially from the top portion for engaging hair of a user. The comb may be fabricated from many other materials in addition to polymeric material or combination thereof without limiting the scope of the present invention. A base or support portion of the hair piece is formed from another polymeric material such as foam or the like. The base portion may present various cross sections such as circular, rectangular, square, and the like. The base portion may present various length and heights as desired by the user. A human or synthetic hair of various shapes, styles and colors is connected to the base portion thereby totally covering the base portion.

Abstract: Devices having real or synthetic hair that are worn on a user's head to complement, accent, or otherwise alter the appearance of the user's hair are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a hair addition for providing a bump up effect includes a foundation, a plurality of attachment members coupled to the foundation for attaching the foundation to a wearer's hair, a plurality of hair strand retention members spanning the foundation, and a plurality of hair strands coupled to the hair strand retention members and collectively concealing the foundation, the attachment members, and the hair strand retention members. The foundation has an outer frame and a plurality of shaping strips. The outer frame defines front and rear sides and opposed ends. The shaping strips extend from the front side to the rear side, and each shaping strip is bendable and retains its form until further manipulated.

A substantially vertical channel extending completely through the body allows the wearer to draw sheaves of hair fibers from below the body up, through and above the tool. The upwardly drawn hair fibers can be teased, combed, brushed or otherwise arranged together with other hair of the wearer in a highly elevated style resting on top of the body.
