    Abstract: An apparatus for dressing hair with a first comb 1 having a longitudinal axis X1, including a plurality of teeth 1.1 with a width B1 offset from each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis X1 by a gap L1 and oriented in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X1, and a second comb 2 having a longitudinal axis X2, including a plurality of teeth 2.1 with a width B2 offset from each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis X2 by a gap L2 and oriented in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X2, where the two combs are directly or indirectly mechanically coupled to each other. A respective tooth of the one comb meshes with a respective gap of the other comb and thereby the tooth of the one comb closes the gap of the other comb in the direction of the longitudinal axis.

    Abstract: A hair straightener device encompasses a straightening tool that is comb-like. The straightening tool has a row of tines that are spaced apart respectively to each other by one hair receptacle. Each tine is associated with at least one first molded part 7 that is movably mounted. It is movably supported relative to the additional tine that surrounds the hair receptacle. The straightening tool furthermore surrounds a second molded part which is associated with the additional tine that surrounds this hair receptacle. This serves the implementation of a hair shaping gap between the molded parts of a hair receptacle. The hair shaping gaps that are located between the molded parts are undercut at least in the hair shaping position of the molded parts toward one another in the direction toward the border, of the hair receptacle, that connects the tines.

    Abstract: A telescoping comb for lice removal is provided for removing head lice and nits from a person's hair. The comb has a telescoping handle with serrated teeth and a pivoting handle. Resilient springs are utilized for holding the pivoting handle in an open position and holding a head portion of the telescoping handle in a closed position in the resting state. Pressure applied to the pivoting handle actuates the head portion to an open position, and upon subsequent release thereof, the head portion is spring biased back to the closed position. When the invention is used on one's hair, the teeth of the comb separate any lice from the hair where they can be safely removed.

    Abstract: A hair-styling device, for french braiding hair, including a first comb detachably secured to a second comb, with each comb vertically disposed in the hair. Each comb has an arcuate spine supporting horizontally extending teeth vertically spaced apart on the spine. The second comb abuts the bottom of the first comb and is disposed in a plane below and parallel to the first comb. The teeth of the second comb are aligned intermediate consecutive teeth on the first comb, and teeth on the first comb are similarly aligned intermediate consecutive teeth on the second comb. This arrangement of the comb teeth separate hair into predetermined sections of hair of uniform thicknesses that are vertically disposed and alternating from side-to-side on the head. The combs are inserted in the hair, a user interweaves the hair sections for braiding. A user then detaches the first comb from the second comb and removes the combs from the hair while retaining the hair braid design.
