Abstract: A domestic appliance for treating items may include a cabinet having a plurality of walls at least partly defining an interior chamber for treating items; a door assembly to enclose the interior chamber; a fascia panel attached to the door assembly, the fascia panel having a handle shell that at least partly defines a handle recess on the fascia panel, and the fascia panel having at least one fascia panel rib formed on an interior surface of the fascia panel opposite the handle shell; a handle tray having a main body and at least one finger extending from the main body, the at least one finger structured to be positioned adjacent to the at least one fascia panel rib.

Abstract: A dye applicator including a head with a cavity (reservoir) and a plurality of bristles in the form of pins each covered with a sponge sleeve extending into the cavity and moistened with a catalyzed dye in the cavity by capillary action. A handle is connected to the head and includes a first container for receiving a dye compound, a second container for receiving a catalyst compound, a pump for each container, and a mixing chamber with a threaded compartment connected to the head cavity on one end, connected to the first container on the other end, and connected to the second container by a manifold for distributing the catalyst throughout the threaded compartment of the mixing chamber. A solenoid is positioned to actuate both pumps to deliver the dye and the catalyst separately to the mixing chamber and to deliver the mixed catalyzed dye to the head cavity.

Abstract: A hairbrush is composed of a plurality of straight-line teeth on top of a handle. The device is featured on that a modeling fringe is disposed on each of two lateral sides of the handle of the hairbrush so that a modeling plane is formed on each side respectively. A decorative piece is installed on each of the modeling plane. In accordance with the above-mentioned structure, each of the lateral sides of the handle forms a modeling plane so that there are more variations on the appearance of the hairbrush.

Abstract: A hair fastener comprising a comb with two of the teeth having a male fastener integrally attached to them for mating with a female detachable locking member. The detachable locking member is attached over the end of the comb's teeth, for hiding the male fastener within the locking member and for securing the hair section in the spaces between the comb teeth portion that is between the comb base and the locking member.

Abstract: A hair brush with a body having bristles extending therefrom for brushing hair and a tubular handle connected to the body which handle has a bore disposed normal to its longitudinal axis adjacent to its distal end along with a blind aperture extending from its distal end into the handle, generally along its longitudinal axis; plus a hair pick with a circular opening therein which pick is configured to snugly fit into the blind aperture and so that its opening will register with the bore in the handle. As a result the brush can be conveniently supported on a hook or like device utilizing the bore in the handle while the pick is inserted, and the pick can be easily removed when the brush is in use.

The handle contains a chamber for holding either the fluid dispensing device or the other items therein, and the head contains a chamber. The chamber in the handle is separated from the chamber in the head by a floor. The floor is solid when the chamber in the handle holds the other items. The floor is not solid when the chamber in the handle holds the fluid dispensing device and the chamber in the head holds the other items.

Abstract: A tool for unbraiding a hairstyle allows the user to separate the braid strand. In one example embodiment, the tool has a handle sufficiently large for the user to grasp and pull the tool through the braided hair strand. As the tool is pulled through the hair strand, the probe penetrates the braid and separates it. The curvature of the probe defined at a bend, retains the hair and prevents the braid from slipping out of the tool so that the braided strands can be separated.

Abstract: An apparatus for grooming hair includes a hairbrush having a plurality of tines, a container for containing particulate matter, a vibrator for vibrating the hairbrush and an opening in the container, proximate to the tines, for dispensing the particulate matter amongst the tines when the hairbrush is vibrated.
