Publication number: 20030230315Abstract: A tint brush with diffuser consists of a container that screws onto the tinter body with a diffuser. The diffuser significantly improves continuous and even flow of the dye, eliminating unwanted side leakage at the bases of the bristles. This is done by covering or by introducing the dye to the bristles above the triangle like gaps at the base of the bristles. A tinter body with a diffuser can also be manufactured with different kinds of the flow regulators, a constant resistance flow regulator and the adjustable resistance flow regulator. Another feature that can be included on the tinter body is a needle point that can be inserted into the front side of the collector chamber of the tinter body, or designed as an extension member of the flow regulator. Bristle plate can also be attached with two teeth member onto the nozzle diffuser for a quick assembly or removal if desired.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 14, 2002Publication date: December 18, 2003Inventor: Zarko Kajgana

Patent number: 6062230Abstract: A tint brush with a color distributor is provided having an anatomically designed container which has an elliptical shape and is screwed onto a connection pipe with a main tinter body. The container and connection pipe are inclined relative to a vertical axis of the main tinter body, preferably, by 60 degrees. A free flow of hair dye mixture from the container is enabled by squeezing the container or by using a pump provided in the container in an alternative embodiment. A collector area defined in the main tinter body collects dye mixture wherefrom the dye mixture is distributed with the aid of a flow regulator and a plurality of radial exit bores which define, on their ends, funnel-like or shaped openings that open in tangent with a set of bristles connected to the tinter body. The flow regulator is suitably grooved so that the rate of dye mixture flowing through the main tinter body can be regulated from a minimum to a maximum amount by turning the flow regulator by 90 degrees.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 1998Date of Patent: May 16, 2000Inventor: Zarko Kajgana

Patent number: 5131418Abstract: A comb for precision cutting of hair to specific length. The comb comprises a standard main body portion with parallel teeth, extending from a base, and thickened end sections which laterally enclose the teeth. Extending from one of the end sections is a handle member, offset from the plane of the teeth by a sufficient distance such that fingers, which grip the handle member, are kept from contacting the scalp. The offset handle keeps the user's fingers off the scalp, thereby preventing inadvertent end tipping of the comb. The handle member is also laterally offset to the rear of the comb for enhanced ergonomic handling, to permit better visibility of the hair being cut and to remove the fingers out of line with the clippers or scissors. The main body portion further comprises pedestal stand-off elements such as flat sided protrusions integrated with the sides of the teeth and/or end sections which are placed directly on a scalp.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1991Date of Patent: July 21, 1992Inventor: John Vaccaro
